On this historic anniversary we, the residents of the Santa Clara community, are hosting a fundraising event to benefit the family of Jigna Siwue Col. Sied Ali Hjay (Wed Ali).Date: Sunday, January 19th, 2014

Wedi Ali is the pride of Eritreans. He gave the ultimate sacrifice for the country. We Eritreans have responsibility to support Col. Alis’ family. We need many brave people like wedi Ali to get out Eritrea from this savage and merciless regime of Eritrea. Unless we get ride this criminal regime, Eritrea will never regain its pride. We need to understand that Eritrea is losing the very best of its sons and daughters by thousands every month to neighboring countries. So, it is every citizens responsibilities to contribute to save the nation and its people from this misery.

Good job San Jose. I was was wondering if some one can tell me what happened to the money collected on the new years eve this year and lasy may 24 may in Oakland, California. The organizers on both occasions anounced that, the collected money was goin ti be donated to wedi Ali’s family. But so far, I haven’t seen anything posted from Oakland. I would love if Daero bay area, the organizer s for this year, and Solomon (from last May 24th) can update us on the donations.
