Thank you dear Father. that is a moving speech you delivered there. But we Eritreans need to really ask for forgiveness and act in a way that shows we mean it. You and other religious leaders are trying to guide us but we don’t want to hear you. We don’t want to be guided. But then you also remembered to ask for us to be forgiven because we did not hear. Pray that we come back to our senses that we become human again. God bless you. God bless our people and our country.

    Dear Abba Atnatewos,
Thank you for sharing your message in dignity and integrity in spiritually uplifting prayer. We need religious leaders who do not compromise their prophetic role of uplifting, chastising, and advising us with the words of Prophet Micah “And what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and walk humbly with your God(6:8). In deed you spoke truth to power and stirred our hearts to accept that we are part of the problem by “commission of omission.” May God c bless you to continue as his instrument of justice and peace.

    Well done Father A.

Where are the other faith based leaders in Eritrea? Did they forget to speak out or just afraid to speak out? United forces are needed to raising the voice of fairness and justice. Poorly organized and divided is bound to fail.

Well done Father A. G. Ab.

“Where are the other faith based leaders in Eritrea ” ?
Good question but too late , brother . Since early 1990’s when they were eliminating
every outspoken or influential religious , tribal and regional leaders and elders we
choose to stay silent . Inner peace can be reached only when practice forgiveness ,
therefore ,I believe we also owe them forgiveness too if it comes to speak the truth .

    Dear Fr.Athanasius Ghebre-Ab
The oppressed people of Eritrea are looking more courageous men like you.
You are our modern Paul the Apostle. You are like the man who went out to sow corn and hope your SEED will not fall among thorn bushes that choked the plants before they give grains, these are the sympathizers of the dictatorial regime, who are turning their deaf ears towards the cry of their people.
I hope your seeds to fall in good soil, so that your plant may produce hundreds of grains.Mat/13:7-8

Yes in deed it is not the proper time to put fingers on each other at this sad moment .
We al held responsibility for our weakness to keep silence and let their suffering take
it’s toll to reach at this level . Truth told that we let down our young generation .
Thank you father A . Ghebreab to pray on behalf of us for forgiveness .
