This is a short note in support of the latest extremely important ASSENNA RADIO broadcast by brother Emanuel Eyasu on the current Ethiopian political shakeup.


As you know, something is cooking in Ethiopia after the Prime Minister requested his resignation because of outstanding political problems in Ethiopia. Although it is premature to tell where it is going, we know it is something we have to carefully monitor with vested interest because it strongly affects us one way or another.  

The mistakes the Weyanes did in Ethiopia to stay in power immaterial and despite the Badme conflict’s temporary effect on the relationship between the Eritreans and the Tigreans, the safety of our people and the Tigreans ultimately depends on our genuine relationship and mutual strategic importance established by blood and sweat during the struggle and far beyond. Although the Isaias regime and few narrow Weyanes created the drift between us, the fact remains that our peoples have no problem at the mass level of the relationship.

There are few important points that our people must understand arresting their emotional discharge for the sake of themselves. The first is that the Isaias regime has been doing everything in its capacity to destroy our country by aligning with its worst enemies from the hard core Amhara politicians in the caliber of Berhanu Negga and the so called Arbegnotch clique that he still financially and militarily supports beyond giving them safe heaven in Eritrea knowing their destructive policies on the country.

Second, he has been working to weaken the society by creating massive refugee crisis responsible for displacing the youth in hundreds of thousands through the years that he succeeded with flying colors. He has weakened the army through well calculated plans as such to make the society vulnerable for the hard core Amharas’ possible offense after the downfall of the Weyanes.

Third, with all the complications the Isaias regime created between the two peoples, we should be clear on the fact that the Weyannes’ unflinching role on the Eritrean independence after the referendum was very crucial for the world to recognize our statehood. It has to be clear that their political existence even after the Badme conflict was very important for our sovereignty because they did not change their position on the Eritrean independence a bit in the midst of uncountable diversities and pressure from the dangerous Amara politicians within the collective Ethiopian political life.

Fourth, the relationship between the Tigreans and Eritreans does not depend on the Shabiyas and the Weyannes and specially their leaders no matter how they complicated it behind the Badme conflict excuse. It historically goes deeper than that to say the least as peoples of the same origin with different socio political experience destined to peacefully coexist forever.

Although Isaias should be very excited about the resent political development in Ethiopia that directly threatens the Weyannes and indirectly the Eritreans, our people must be smart enough to realize that we have no long run problem with our strategic allies, the Tigreans and that their safety is crucial for ours beyond the benefit of the doubt. Therefore, let us be careful to avoid regrettable mistakes here by considering the downfall of the Weyanes as victory to the Eritrean people as the dictator wants us to feel. We have the moral responsibility to support the Tigreans at this testing time in history for our strategic interest but not at the expense of the other Ethiopian ethnic groups that we should care about at the same level of concern.

In the mean time, the sleepy Eritrean civic groups must immediately wake up for unconditional dialogue pertaining our country towards common strategy to democracy. They cannot afford to watch the development without action and their members have the responsibility to pressurize them to this effect.

Long live the genuine relationship between the Eritreans and the Tigreans, and the Ethiopians at large!!

    Dear Festum,
    Your foreword writting about the latest article of Amanuel Eyasu’s is right on spot. I second you for that brother. The article is not only informative but also extremely important and of course, written right on time. It is also for sure untill the turbulence settles people like Anna Gomez, Issayas , his puppies,…….. etc will do anything to add fuel to the current flames. For so, as brother Amanuel and Festum have stated clearly , Eritrea would be the very first country to be affected by whatever the outcome will be. In this case, I believe, any genunie person who loves peace rather than meaningless hate needs to think outside the bottleneck. Thank you brothers.
    Remeber this has nothing to do with wishing well for the ruling party. Please do not interpret things backwards..

      Well said brother Meretse, I also support your comment and the awesome article of brother Amanuel the great. You also said hesitantly, ‘remember this has nothing to do with wishing well for the ruling party’, what’s wrong wishing well for the ruling party?
      If you are talking about the Ethiopian ruling party then there is no shame in wishing them well for the future as they are the peoples (all Ethiopian community representatives) ruling party.
      However, you concluded beautifully and correctly your comment by the last Tigrigna line.

    Someone has to remind you that Weyane never made any mistakes in making poverty and backwardness as the
    only enemies of Ethiopia. It didn’t even mention your Egypt/Arabs or Higdefs as the enemies of the people.
    Weyanes wanted and still wants all oppressed people of this world to live in peace, harmony and cooperation.
    But backward opportunist people like yourself want to divide and quarrel brotherly people on meaningless things.

    Did weyane like hgdf miss the strategic importance of their cooperation in defeating their past and future enemies? Some one need to remember that these two narrow minded groups were using badme and ethnicity as great tactics to come to and stay in power. Well hawi niagadia……, weyane got it in one form (really sorry for people of tigray) and hgdf will get in other form. There is no reason for weyane to continue occupying badme thogh my first enemy is iseyas and hgdf.

      No one disputes that contemporary Ethiopia is fast drifting into unprecedented disaster, with widespread ramifications of conflicts and total anarchy. Even the TPLF ruling class, in its recent congress declaration, with half-baked admission of guilt, has made it abundantly clear that the deep crisis is rampant. The point of contention however is providing a correct analysis of the root causes of the surging anarchy and implementing the right remedies.
      The daily events in the entire nation political crisis is unprecedented. Never in Ethiopia’s political history has a government in power plunged into crisis just by the people as today. The crisis has stemmed from the notion that the joint government formed by EPRDF/TPLF has no moral right to continue after PM Hailemariam seeming unwillingness to led and asked resignation.Thus the situation has come to a head and is leading all concerned to find alternative arrangements for the formation of a new government.
      Most Ethiopians agree that a pragmatic solution to the existing political impasse is important to prevent disintegration. Many Ethiopians seem to be so terrified of the floating indication that the country will be disintegrated from statehood to tribal-hood, if the hovering potential ethnic conflict is unabated. When the regime supporters exploit the fear to justify for EPRDF/TPLF regime indefinite rule. The reason the leaders of the TPLF and supportrs live in the constant fear of the Amhara ethnic group. Because of that fear, the TPLF adopted policies that are detrimental to Ethiopia and its interests in the hope of preventing the return of the Amhara to power once and for all.
      True, ethnic identity has been the foundation of post 1991 nation building in Ethiopia, largely as a deliberate divide and rule policy of the regime. As a result, in the last 25 years, ethnicity has been the center of official political, social and economic life in Ethiopia. Ethnic politics is not an accident in Ethiopia; it is strategically planned and executed by the TPLF regime for its political survival. Today, the regime in Ethiopia is inciting ethnic clashes on the one hand, and on the other hand, this same regime is using the failed scare tactic that Ethiopia shall disintegrate in the absence of the EPRDF/TPLF government.
      However, the passionate voice of most Ethiopians who vehemently call for the demise of the EPRDF/TPLF regime, is not the voice of disintegration, it is the voice of unity, the voice of liberty and equality. The determination of most Ethiopians is to fully democratize Ethiopia and save its unity. The unanimous voice of Ethiopians is no to divide and rule, no to corruption, no to prejudice, no to ethnic cleansing and most importantly, no to brutality, torture and extra judicial killing. The people of Ethiopia carefully and clearly understand that their struggle is against the EPRDF/TPLF regime, not with the people of Tigray as the regime wants it to be.

        Before embarking upon to the main topic, let me pose a general fact that this sysem is not only the enemy of the people of Ethiopia, but as well as the of government and people of eritrea. This regime never being a/the freind of the Eritrean people. As we know the deportation of the 90,000 innocent Eritreans was/is the sign of friendship. So that we should have to shorten our hands and it is not wise to directly or indirectly need to involve in Ethiopian internal issues. As we all know the EPRDF/TPLF regime has played dirty political games to instill hate and division between the Oromo and the Amhara. However, to day we are obsorving the Oromo and the Amhara have stood together.
        All in all, the regime in Ethiopia is at war against its own people, and the recent government instigated ethnic clashes in many parts of the country clearly show that the TPLF Ethiopian regime is deliberately pushing the country into a very dangerous downward trajectory of instability and civil strife. In the last few months, the Oromos and the Amharas have been waging the struggle in a semicoordinated manner and their respective leaders inside and outside the country have been expressing solidarity with each other’s protests to bring down the EPRDF/TPLF regime in Ethiopia, which they see as their common enemy.
        It is clear that political parties have their own agendas which are not concerned about the stability of the country and unfortunately it is the people who are at the receiving end of the deadlock, instability and confusion which has engulfed the country. Thus the EPRDF/TPLF’s political system no longer works. Politics is messy in Ethiopia; the national politics is becoming dangerously volatile. The complete failure of this system to properly deal with core structural challenges indicates basic changes are needed
        Thus, PIA is qeite right, the regime in Ethiopia is an ugly dying regime, hence any cosmetic work to make it look good is tantamount no matter what you do. For any reasonable person, the choice in Ethiopia is clear. It’s a choice between good and evil, justice and injustice, unity and disintegration. I believe Nothing short of genuine democratization can stop this people’s march to freedom. Now the Arat Kilo Menelik’s House under threat of seizure; The Woyane properties mostly owned by EFERT is being targeted; leadership in the National Assembly seemingly hell-bent on suspending ; skilled technocrats are fleeing; the EPRDF no-case, they are damning the country to failure. Doing so will only lead to more divisions, divisiveness and vendettas. Thus those in power tend to think it will last forever or deceive themselves into believing it will be so; history has exposed their fallacy

    እቶም ካብቲ ናይ ቅንጸላ ኲናት ዝተረፉ/ዘምለጡ ኣባላት ኢ.ፒ.ኣር.ፒ. ድማ፣ ናብ ተጋድሎ ሓርነት ኤርትራ እዮም ተዓቚቦም። ድሕሪ ገለ ኣዋርሕ ድማ፣ ኢ.ፒ.ኣር.ፒ. ቃልሶም ንምቕጻል ናብ መሬቶም ክኣትዉ ምስ ተ.ሓ. ኤ. መደብ ወጺኡ። ድሮ ኣቐዲሞም ምስ ወያኔ ኣብ ኲናት ኣትዮም ስለ ዝነበሩ ድማ፤ ንትግራይ ክኣትዉ ከም ዘይክእሉን፣ ናብ ካልእ ቦታ ናይ ኢትዮጵያ ኣትዮም ቃልሶም ኣንጻር ድርጊ ክቕጽሉን ምስ ተ.ሓ.ኤ ምርድደኣት ተገብረ። ኣብዚ ግዜ እዚ፣ ማለት ኣብ መጀመርያ ናይ 1980 ድማ፤ ብጋሽ ገይሮም ናብ በገምድር ክኣትዉ፣ ካብቲ ዝነበርዎ መደበራት ባርካ ናብ ምምሕዳር ጋሽ ሓለፉ። ኣብዚ እዋን እዚ፣ ኣነ ኣብ ምምሕዳር ጋሽ ስለ ዝነበርኩ፣ ባዕለይ እየ ዝተቐበልኩዎም። ብእምነት ተ.ሓ.ኤ. ኢ.ፒ.ኣር.ፒ ኣብ ውሽጢ ኢትዮጵያ ኣትዮም ኣንጻር እቲ ናይ ሓባር ጸላኢ ዝኾነ፣
    ንህዝቢ ኤርትራን ኢትዮጵያን ዝጭፍጭፍ ዝነበረ ስርዓት ደርጊ ክቃልሱ፣ ረብሓ ናይ ክልቲኡ ጭቁን ህዝቢ ኤርትራን ኢትቶጵያን ምዃኑ ስለ ዝተገዘበት እያ ድማ፣ ንሳቶም ናብ ድሑን ቦታ ናይ ኢትዮጵያ ኣትዮም፣ ኣንጻር ስርዓት ደርጊ ቃልሶም ክቕጽሉ ኣብ ጉዕዞም ክትትሓባበሮም ዝወሰነት። ወያኔ ግን በቲ ተግባራት ናይ ተ.ሓ.ኤ. ሕጉሳት ኣይነበሩን። ምኽንያቱ ናይዚ ድማ፣ ወያነ ኣብቲ ግዜ’ቲ ርሱን ጽልኢ ኣብ ልዕሊ ኢ.ፒ.ኣር.ፒ. ስለ ዝነበሮም፣ ”ንሕና ዘጥፋእናዮ ውድብ፡ ተ.ሓ.ኤ. እንደገና ህይወት ተልብሶ ኣላ” ዝብል መዐቀኒ ስለ ዝነበሮም እዩ። እዚ ስለ ዝኾነ ድማ፣ ኢ.ፒ.ኣር.ፒ. ብሓገዝ ሰራዊት ተ.ሓ.ኤ. ተከዘ ቆሪጹ መሬት በገምድር/ኢትዮጵያ ምስ ረገጸ፣ ሰራዊት ወያኔ ኣቐዲሙ ኣብ መሬት በገምድር/ ወልቃይት/ ኣድብዩ ብምጽናሕ፣ ንኻልኣይ ግዜ፣ ኣብ መንጎ ወያነን ኢ.ፒ.ኣር.ፒን ደማዊ ኲናት ተኻየደ። ሰራዊት ወያነ ድማ ንኢ.ፒ.ኣር.ፒ እናሰዓበ፡ ክሳብ ናብ ጎቦ ራስዳሻን ዝስቀል ሃደኖም። በዚ ድማ ምስታ፣ ሰራዊታ ኣብ ውሽጢ ትግራይ ከይተረፈ ብምልኣኽ፣ ኣብ 1975/76/ ኣብ ናቶም ተመኩሮ ምዕባይ ዓቢ ግደ ዝተጻወተት ውድብ ተ.ሓ.ኤ.፡ ኣብ ቂም ኣተዉ። ኣቕዲሞም’ውን፣ ብዶብ ብምስባብ፣ ምስ ተ.ሓ.ኤ ኣብ ምስሓሓብ ክኣትዉ ጸኒሖም እዮም። በዚ ጉዳይ እዚ ንምርድዳእ ከም ሽማግለ ካብ ዝተላእኩ ተጋደልቲ ተ.ሓ.ኤ. ”ተባሪቕና” ብዝብል ምስምስ 2 ተጋደልቲ ተ.ሓ.ኤ. ቀንጺሎም ነይሮም እዮም። ብዝን ክንድዝን እቲ ዝምድና እናሓርፈፈ ኣብ ዝኸደሉ ዝነበረ እዋን እውን፣ ኣብ 1979 ወያነ ነቲ ተ.ሓ.ኤ. ኣብቲ ነጻ መሬት ኤርትራ የዕቊባትሎም ዝነበረት ንብረቶም፤ መብዛሕትኡ ናይ ጽርግያ መሳርሒ መካይን፣ ብመሪሕነት ሓድሽ ዝተባህለ ኣባል መሪሕነቶም፣ ካብ ተ.ሓ.ኤ. ስሒቦም/ወሲዶም ናብ ሱዳን የእትዮሞ እዮም። ድሕሪ እዚ ኩሉ ገልጠምጠም ዝመልኦ ዝምድና ሓሊፉ፣ ናይ ፍትሕ ጉዕዞ ምስ ተ.ሓ.ኤን ምስ ኣኸተሙ እዩ ድማ፣ ወያነ ነቲ ብጉጅለ ኢሳያስ ንኢ.ፒ.ኣር.ፒ. ንምድምሳስ ዝተገብረሎም ልቓሕ ንኽመልሱ፣ ንተ.ሓ.ኤ. ንምህራም ምስ ጉጅለ ኢሳያስ ኣብ ሳሕል ከይዶም፣ ኣንጻር ተሓኤ ዝኣደመ ውዲት ዝኣተዉ። እቲ ነዚ ንኽገብሩ ዘበገሶም፣ ብመሰረት ጭቡጥ ሓበሬታ ዝተረጋገጸ ድማ፤ ወከልቲ ክልቲኤን ውድባት ኣብ ሳሕል ተራኺቦም ”ተ.ሓ.ኤ. ሃገራዊ ውድብ ኣይኮነን፣ ስለዚ ክጠፍእ ኣለዎ” ኣብ ዝብል መዐቀኒ ስለ ዝተሰማምዑ ምንባሩ ይሕብር። ነዚ ንረብሓ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ዘይጠመተ፣ ንብሕትና ስልጣን ቀዳማይ ቦታ ዝሃበ ፖለቲካዊ መዐቀኒ ብምምርኳስ ድማ፤ ኣብ ርእሲ እታ፣ ብኸመይ ጸላኢ ይዳኸም ኣብ ዝብል ሃገራዊ ስትራተጂ ተመርኲሳ፣ ሰራዊታ ካብ ኦሞሓጀር፣ ምሉእ ደቡብ ዝሸፈነ፣ ክሳብ ዓሰብ፣ ብሰሜን ድማ ክሳብ ሳሕል ዘርጊሓ፡ ጸላኢ ኣብ ምምካት ትቃለስ ነበረት ውድብ ተ.ሓ.ኤ.፣ ብኽልተ ግንባር፣ ማለት ብግንባር ባድመ/ወይኔ/፡ ብግንባር ሳሕል/ሻዕብያ/ ሃንደበታዊ ኲናት ብምኽፋት፣ ንኣስታት ሓደ ዓመት ዝወሰደ ኲናት ብምክያድ፡ ንተ.ሓ.ኤ. ካብ መሬት ኤርትራ ከም ትወጽእ ገበሩ።
    እዞም 2 ውድባት ኣብ መሜዳኦም ስልጣን ድሕሪ ምብሓት ድማ፣ ዝምድናኦም ውልዕ ጥፍእ እናበለ ክሳብ ናጽነት ቀጸለ። ኣብዚ ዳሕረዋይ እዋን’ዚ እውን፣ ኣብ ውሽጢ መሪሕነት ወያነ፣ ንጉዳይ ኢድ ኣእታውነት ኣብ ጉዳይ ኤርትራ ብዝምልከት፣ ናይ ሓላፍነት ምስኽኻም ምስሕሓብ ተፈጢሩስ፣ ነቶም ንወያኔ ናብዚ ”ዘይምልከታ” ዝበልዎ ኲናት ንኽትኣቱ ግደ ተጻዊቶም ዝተባህሉ ኣባላት መሪሕነቶም፣ ከም በዓል ግደይ ዘራጽዮን ዝርከብዎም፣ ክኣስሩን ከባርሩን ተራእዩ። ነዚ ዝምልከት ጽሑፍን ቪድዮታትን እውን ዘርግሑ።
    እዚ ይኹን እቲ ግን፣ ኣብ መወዳእታ ንደርጊ ክልቲኦም ብሓባር ተዓወትሉ። ስልጣን ኣብ ሃሃገሮም ሒዞም ድሕሪ ምጽናሕ ድማ፣ 1993 ጉዳይ ኤርትራ፣ ብ”ምስ ኢትዮጵያዶ ትቕጽል ወይስ ናጽነት ትብል” ዝብል መስደመም ዝኾነ ምርጫ ዝሓዘ ረፈረደም ድሕሪ ምክያድ፣ ጉዳይ ኤርትራ ብ”ናጽነት” ዝብል ምርጫ ተዛዘመ። እዚ ውጽኢት እዚ፡ ብዓይኒ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ” ዘገርም ኣይነበረን፣ ከምይሲ ኣብ ውሽጢ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ፣ እዚ ከይተሓርሰ ዝተፈልጠ ውጽኢት ጥንሲ ስለ ዝነበረ።
    እዚ ልዒሉ ዝተጠቕሰ፣ ”ንናጽነት ትግራይ” ዓሊሙ ዝተበገሰ ቃልሲ ውድብ ወያነ እምበኣር፣ ኣብ 1987፣ ምስ ካልኦት ናይ ዓባይ ኢትዮጵያ ተቓልስቲ ውድባት ሰሚሮም፣ ስሞም ናብ ”ኢህወደግ” ድሕሪ ምቕያር እዮም፣ ነቲ ዘበገሶም ”ናጽነት ትግራይ” ዝብል ዕላማ ኣብ ስዉርን ዕቑብን ተመዛዝ የእትዮም፣ ትሕዝቶ ቃልሶም ናብ መልክዕ ዓባይ ኢትዮጵያ ከትሕዝዎ ዝተራእዩ። ኣብዚ፣ ነቲ ዘበገሶም ዕላማ ንሓዋሩ ጒሒፈሞ እዮም ክትብል ግን ኣየድፍርን እዩ። ዕላ ማ ዓንቀጽ 39 እውን ነዚ ምርጫ እዚ ኣፍደገ ንኽኸፍት ዝጸደቐ ክኸውን ይኽ እል እዩ፣ እሞ እዚ ዓንቀጽ እዚ እንከላይ ንጉዳይ ኦሮም ዝ ምልከትዶ ይኸውን፧
    ሓቂ እዩ፣ እቲ ብስም ኢህወደግ ኣብ 1991 ኣብ ኢትዮጵያ ስልጣን ሒዙ፣ ንዓባይ ኢትዮጵያ ክመርሕ ዝጸንሐ ስርዓት፣ ኣብ ዝሓለፈ ናይ ስልጣኑ ግዜ፣ ኣብ ኢትዮጵያ ግዙፍ ናይ ፖለቲካውን፣ ምጣኔ ሃብታውን፣ ከም ሳዕቤኑ ድማ፣ ኣብ ማሕበራዊ ሜዳታት ብዙሕ ብኣውንታዊ ዝግለጽ ለውጥታት ከም ዘመዝገበ። ኮይኑ ግን እዚ ዝተባህለ ኣውንታዊ ለጥታት ክዉን ሓቂ እኳ እንተኾነ፣ እቲ ኩሉ ዝተመዝገበ ለውጥታት ግን፡ ኣብ ትሕቲ ምሉእ ውሽጣዊ ህድኣትን ዕግበትን ናይ ኩሉ ህዝቢ ኢትዮጵያ ኣብ ዝሰፈነሉ ባይታ ረጊጹ ዝተረጋገጸ ኣይንነበረን። ኣብ ግዜ ምርጫታት ኮነ፣ ኣብ ድሕሬኡ ዝነበረ እዋናት፣ ኣብ ውሽጢ ዝተፈላለየ ኣካላት ህዝቢ ኢትዮጵያ፣ ብዝተፈላለየ ደረጃ ዝግለጽ፣ ተቓውሞታት ክባራዕ ጸኒሑ እዩ። ብፍላይ ኣብ ዝሓለፈ 5 ዓመታት ድማ፡ እቲ ፖለቲካዊ ነውጺ ጫፉ ዝሃረመ እዩ ዝመስል።
    እቲ ኣብዚ ዝለዓል ኣሰካፊ ሕቶ እምበኣር፣ ተርእዮታት ሶቬት ሕብረትን ዮጎዝላቭያንዶ፣ ኣብ ኣፍሪቃዊት ሃገር ክድገም ይኽእል ይኸውን፧ ወይ ድማ፡ ወያነ ነቲ ኣብ ተመዛዝ ዐቂበሞ ዝጸንሑ፣ መሰረታዊ መንቀል ዕጥቃዊ ቃልሶም ዝኾነ፣ ”ናጽነት ትግራይ” ዝሕመረቱ መደቦምዶ ሕጂ የቐልቅልዎ’ሞ፡ እቲ ንኤርትራ ኣምሲሎም፣ ኣብ ደስቱር ናይ ረፓፕሊካዊት ኢትዮጵያ ዘጽደቕዎ ሕጊ ዓንቀጽ 39፣ ህዝቢ ትግራይ ክጥቀመሉ ብማለትዶ ይግንጽልዎ ይኾኑ፧ መልሲ ናይዚ ኩሉ ንግዜ ምግዳፉ ተመራጺ ይኸውን።
    እቲ ኣብዚ ክብሎ ዝደለኹ ግን፣ “ወለንታዊ” ምውራድ ቀዳማይ ሚኒስተር ሃይለማርያም ደሳለኝኸ፣ ከምቲ ቃላቱን ትምኒቱን ዝኣመቶ፣ ንኢትዮጵያ ዘላቒ ፖለቲካዊ ጥዕናን ርግኣትን ዝህብዶ ይኽእል ይኸውን፧ እንታይ ዓይነት ስግኣት ንምህዳእ ወይ ንምክልኻል ኮን ይኸውን፣ እዚ ሕጂ ዝእውጅዎ ዘለዉ ናይ ”ህጹጽ ኣዋጅ”፧ ብሓቂዶ እቲ ፈኸም እናበለ ክልሓምን ክዓብን ዝጸንሐ ዘይዕግበት ዘበገሶ ህዝባዊ ተቃውሞታትከ ብኸምዚ ክእለ ይኽእል፧ ወይስ በዚ ዝጭኖ ዘሎ፣ ኢትዮጵያ እንደገና ናብ መዋእል ደርጊ/ ወተሃደራዊ ግዝኣት/ ክትምለስ እያ፧ ነዚ’ውን ግዜ ክምህረና ክሓልፎ እደሊ።
    ኣብ ኢትዮጵያ ርግኣትን ቅሳነትን ዝሰፈኖ ሓድነት ህዝቢ ክህሉ፣ ብዞባዊ መዐቀኒ ክርአ ከሎ፣ ንጎረባብቲ’ውን ኣውንታዊ እዩ። ምኽንያቱ ፖለቲካዊ ሕማም ጎሬቤት ተመሓላለፊ ክኽውን ስለ ዝኽእል። ልክዕ እዩ፣ ከም ስርዓት ህግደፍ ዝኣምሰለ፣ ብህዝቡ ዘይተኣማመን ዓማጺ ስርዓት፣ ንኣቕልቦ ህዝቡ ንደገ ገጹ እናጠምዘዘ፣ ዕድሜኡ ንኸናውሕ፣ ኩሉ ግዜ ኣብ ናይ ግረባብቱ ህውከት እዩ ክነብር ዝሓልም። እዚ ድማ ብፖለቲካዊ ድንቊርና ዝተዓመተን፣ ሓልዮት ህዝቢ ዝነፈገን፣ ናይ ምልካውያን ኣተሓሳስባ ዝገዝኦ ሕልሚ እዩ። እዚ ይኹን እቲ ግን፣ ኣብ ተመኮሮ ህዝባዊ ቃልስታት ምስ እንውከስ፣ እዚ ከምዚ ዝኣምሰለ ህዝባዊ ተቓውሞ፣ ክሳርኡ ከዓበየን፣ ደረቱ ከይሓለፈን ከሎ፣ ንድምጺ ህዝቢ ሰሚዕካ ዝግበር ለውጢ ወይ ዝውሃብ መልሲ ጥራሕ እዩ መድሃኒቱ። መራሕቲ ኢትዮጵያ እንተኾነ’ውን ጠለብ ህዝቦም ካብ ምስማዕ ሓሊፎም ካልእ ምርጫ ከም ዘይብሎም ክግንዘቡ እዮም ዝጥለቡ ዘለዉ። ነዚ ምርጫ’ዚ ምስ ዝወስዱ ጥራሕ እዩ ድማ፣ ንሓድነት ህዝቢ ኢትዮጵያ ኮነ፡ ንህልውናኦም ኣብ ስልጣን መድሕን ክኾኖም ዝኽእል፣ በሃሊ እየ’ሞ፣ ልቦና ይሃቦም ብማለት፣ ምስ ሰናይ ትምኒት ክድምድም እደሊ። ወ/ስላሴ ዑ. ተስፋይ

    ካልእ ይትረፍ ሕቶ ህዝቢ ኦሮሚ ናብ ኢትዮጵያዊ ሕቶ ናይ ምቕያር መስርሕ ነዊሕ ግዜን ከቢድ ዋጋን ክሓትት እዩ። ኢትዮጵያውያን ድያስፖራ ብፍላይ ድማ ተወላዶ ኣምሓራ ናብ ህልም ዝበለ ጽንፍኘነት ተሰጋጊሮም፡ ኣንጻር ህዝቢ ትግራይ ጆኖሳይድ ክካየድ ቀትርን ለይትን ክነብሑ ንሰምዖም ኣለና።
    ስለዚ ህልው ጸገማት ኢትዮጵያ ብደሞክራስያዎ ሕቶ ጥራይ ዝምለሰሉ መድረኽ ዝተሰገረ ይመስልኒ።

    ነዚ ዘይርድኦ ኢርትራዊ እንተሃልዩ ግን ናይ ባዕሉ ጸገም ዘለዎ እዪ ኢልካ ምሕላፍ ይኣክል።
    ብመሰረቱ ጥዕና ዘለዎ ህዝቢ ምስህዝቢ እዩ ዝውግን።ዝተፈላለየ ትንተናታትን ኣረኣእታትን ክግለጹ ይኽእሎ እዩም። ግዝያዊ ፖለቲካዊ ስምዕትካ ንምርዋይ’ውን ኣዝዩ ታሪኻዊ ገጌ ክትፍጽም ትኽእል ኢኻ።
    በወገንይ ወያነ ዝገበርዎ ጌጋ ብዘገደስ፡ መራሕቲ ህግደፍ ዝገብርዎ ዘለዉ ታሪኻዊ ገጋ ብዘየገድስ፡ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ምስ ህዝቢ ትግራይ እዩ ጠጠው ክብል ዘለዎ። እዚ ማለት ግን ብዋጋ ካልኦት ውጹዓት ህዝብታት ኢትዮጵያ ማለት ኣይኮነን። ኩሎም ኣህዛብ ኢትዮጵያ በሰላምን ብሓባርን ዝነብሩላ ኢትዮጵያ ንምነ።
    ከምዚንሰምዕ ዘለና በሰበብ ወያነ ንህዝቢ ትግራይ ንምጽናት እንተኾይኑ ግን፡ ታሪኽ ካብ ሕጂ ጀሚራ ቦትኣ ክትሕዝ ኣለዋ። ጽባሕ’ውን ንኣና እዩ። እዚ ንምፍላጥ ፖለቲካዊ ፍልስፍና ዘድልዮ ኣይኮነን።

      I agree 100%, peace and mutual collaborative relationship with neighbors is the principle of the progressive minded,however,how did we get here?who mixed this bitter concoction we are forced to drink? who is throwing the ethnic cocktail Molotov among the tigrigna speaking people? who is purging and displacing them from their respective homes? the Amharas? why are we so concerned about the resignation of a neighboring country’s prime minister while ours is fading to oblivion? why only the salvation of tigrigna? How about the the rest of the Eritrean people? aren’t we blowing the alarm of ethnic strife inadvertently or paradoxically? Are we concerned the Amharas are on the offensive to annihilate the tigrigna speaking and spare the rest? what is the purpose of this conversation today? people are reading and listening and taking a note.

    I do not understand why eritreans. Are talking so much about a resignation of prime minister which should be a good example and a lesson to african belly poloticians and dictators. The worry about amharas is very very exagerated. They are taking desperate action against tigray simply b/s they learned they will never dominate polotics no matter what not b/s of tegaru but b/s of the rise of oromos. Let alone to threaten eritrea they will have hard time defending themselves and that scares them to death. If tigray change their mind on eritrean independence and agreed with amhara to take back asseb, that can pose serious threat to eritrea.

    Hello Assenna,

    I always admire Amanuel Eyasu for his courageous, thoughtful and constructive ideas. Likewise for Fitsum’s contributions. But I have reservations for Eritreans to involve on Ethiopian politics. The situation right now is very very delicate and hope the leadership in general and those of Oromo within the ruling party in particular have the capacity to lead the country forward peacefully as one whole. I am confident on Dr Abiy Ahmed as he is elected to lead the OPOD, he is also capable to be the next PM of the country. Lema Megersa has shown his skills though OPOD restructured its organizational leadership expecting its future responsiblities, both men will transform Ethiopia to a better democracitic country.

    People don’t try to spread fear and nonsense political wills. The weyane is still occupying Eritrean territory and worked to weaken Eritrea by all possible means. That does not matter what goverment represents Eritrea. It is does the Ethiopian government abide by international law? Never when they feel unsafe they call for friendship the opposite when they feel safe they reject you. Do not help a failed friendship and history to happen again. Let them deal with their own problem and concentrate on our issues.
