It is now publicly known its plan to create an alternative opposition organization that advocates for reforming PFDJ. The group is believed to have less 20 members and it has been known for creating havoc in the opposition. It’s clear to me that Assena and Asmarino share the same ideology, change can only come from Ethiopian intervention and an armed struggle.
The Eritrean people are sick and tired of PFDJ, but if you think that we can achieve genuine democracy with the help of (“Semi-Democratic”) Ethiopia, you are badly misstaken and the Eritrean people will remain silent until the Ethiopia-based opposition groups realize that we are a proud independent nation, uninterested in yet another civil war and regional and religious divisions.
I, as a Tigrinya-Eritrean would love to have close ties with my Ethiopian brethren, but it must come post-pfdj, not at this stage. We don’t want to have a relationship like that between Syria and Lebanon. We want a relationship based on mutual respect.
Read the Intercation between Daniel G/Mikael(EYSC) and the “Investigator” carefully. It’s not what it looks like. If you want your followers to increase in numbers, then you make sure the followers of PFDJ decrease.
