Eritreans of conscious should heed to the honest words in the broadest and inherent sense of the message. Otherwise, it would be a game of roulette for ever and ever until Eritreans exhaust themselves to dizziness >>> meaning walking zombies.
Just an observation.
EFND has previously posted on the net its political program. And at the same time it has been saying we are only facilitators. How do you explain that ?. You are all senior members of ex-EPLF and some even say that you were members of its secretive political party. Lack of enough transparency on your part is seen as legacy of the past that you have not abandoned. How to you think you will be mediators or facilitators if you do not reflect the Eritrean diversity ?.
The ideas you are floating are good and welcome, but we all know that in the absence of trust, especially, when some of you have yet to condemn the regime openly, or explain to people why you left it and when, your efforts may seen only aimed to regroup the EPLF in the way to want it or reform Higdef by excluding a few on the top.
Please be open and tell people what you want do more clearly, with a good dose of sincerity.
I like the idea of EFND but I will still wait to accept it. I share the view of the above comment of Wedi Hager. Although I was a senior member of EPLF mass org. but later I was disillusioned when I see them failed in trying to create a nation. A nation is a political community whose political arena has been pacified. The successful pacification of political arena hinges upon the nature of the competition for power. A political community that changes governments through shedding of blood is not yet a nation, and neither is one that changes presidents only when one happen to die in office. The use of violence to effect change of government betrays a lack of consensual value within the community, meaning that there are individuals within it who dis agree about the basis of the social bond and stand ready to kill one another because of this dis agreement.

Sister, people with opposing view are not necessarily saying bad about Eritrea and its people, on the contrary they are looking at these interests from a different angle, and that should not be reason to ban them. A standard way to handle that is to have clear guidelines and keep reminding commentators about them. Only some extreme cases should be banned or non-Eritreans with disruptive behavior.
