Subject: “Eritrean Family Christmas fun day in London – lets do it for our children”

In short without going into detail, I say BRAVO WITH A GUSTO to the organizers for a splendid and so fitting idea for Eritreans. This type of programme should have been done a long, long, long time ago — instead of wasting time and the precious mind into endless circular motion of GUAYLA, GUAYLA, GUAYLA …..
Is this an error or the age limit is really 35? The last option I see is group D (25 to 35 yrs old). The title says let’s do it for our children….Just saying.

I always believe very strongly in “something” and yet I find myself weak in enforcing that belief from time to time. You see, Simon, I always believe that excessive “PRAISE” of someone is really tantamount of “destroying” that person! Yes, I honestly, really believe in that. Note: The key word is “Excessive”.
So, I will not praise you.

Be careful with your sentence structures –you may lose a number of your loyal readers for the simple reason they could not understand the depth of your message (due to the choice of words and sentence structure). Actually you are so polite (probably the most polite person on this forum) and thank you for that. I blame the English language for the sentence structure, but for the words I choose, I am guilty as charge.
I have seen few Eritrean forums and Assenna is probably the most tolerant and I praise the team for that. As long as we criticise the subject but not the author, I don’t see anything wrong with that.
BTW, are you getting lazy to finish your name to rezene/rezenet, or it is just a rezen? I am curious about that.
It is already a holiday season for me – my spirit is up. So, take my response in that light.

b)Blaming the English language?? What would you say about Tigrigna sentence construction??? One English Historian made a comparison of the Geez and Latin derivative languages this way: Tigrigna equivalent to French >>> both difficult to handle >>> ስርንግጥ!!!; Amharic to Italian, both beautiful; Tigre’ to Spanish – no comment

d)“Criticize the subject, not the author”: Ahhhh I like that! You deserve entitlement right for that phrase. But, of course, you are mindful that you would be a loner in a society that we know of. It takes time – a very long time to change.

Why are you people talking about? if you believe in Christmas then why don’t us make our children happy? is it that what christmas for? There are lost of family in London who spent christmas at home because they can’t afford it, may be dad is passed away may also be mum passed away. We also want all Eritreans children to know each other what is wrong with that. Please think we need to be united right?

እዚ ከምዚ ዝኣመሰለ መደብ፡ ብኩለን ኣብ ሃገረ-ስደት ዝርከባ ማሕበረኮማት ኤርትራውያን፡ ዓቢ ኣተኩሮ ክወሃቦ ይግባእ። እተን ዘለዋ ማሕበረኮማት፡ ብናይ ኩልና ንጡፍ ተሳትፎ፡ ንረብሓና፡ ማለት ንረብሓ ናይቲ ክግልገለለን ዝግብኦ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ (ብዘይ-ኣፈላላይ) ከምዝውክላ ክንገብረን ኣሎና። ከምዚአን ዝኣመሰላ ማሕበራውያን ኮማት፡ ነቲ ኣብ ሃገረ-ስደት ንኤርትራውያን ዝገጥሞም ዘሎ በዳሂ ኩነታት፡ ብሓባር ንምግጣሙን ሓድሕዳዊ ምትሕብባር ንምምዕባልን ኣዚየን ኣገደስቲ ኢየን። ከም ማሕበረሰብ መጠን ድማ፡ ብዘይ ሻራ፡ ዓበይቲ ዓዲ፡ ለባማትን ሞያውያንን፡ እናዓደማ፡ ኣብ ዝካየድ ህዝባዊ ፈስቲቫላት፡ ህዝቢ ከምዝመሃር ክገብራ ሓላፍነት ክስከማ ኣለወን። ንመናእሰይ ኤርትራውሃን ብፍላይ ከኣ፡ ከምዝላለዩን፡ ነብሶም ንምምዕባል ብሓባር ክሰርሑን፡ ክደጋገፉን ክመኽራን ዕድል ክፈጥራሎምን ይግባእ። ኪኖ’ዚ ድማ፡ ኤርትራውያን እንተሓቢርናን እንተሰሚርናን፡ ህይወትናን ህይወት ዓድናን ኣብ ምምዕባልን ምምሕያሽን ክንክእል ኢና። ስለዚ፡ ማሕበረኮማትና ኣስተናዒቕና ኣይንርኣየን።
ኮማዊ ንትፈታትና፡ ሃገራዊ መንነትናን ባህልናን እንኹስኩሰሉ ኣገዳሲ ባይታ ስለዝኾነ፡ ኩልና ደቅና ሒዝና ብንጥፈት ክንሳተፎን ክንዓስሎን ይግባእ።
