Hgdef’s Eritrea is full of odd surprises. Surprises a normal person would never expect or even dream of. It is un-natural that a government, which claims to represent the people would give top priority to DESTRUCTION rather than CONSTRUCTION, but this is the case with Hgdef’s Eritrea.
All construction (buildings) have been officially banned some ten years back. Yet you see here and there some small house buildings who have got permits may be issued in Kebabis such as Arbaete-Asmera, Tselot, Daero-Kawlos etc. This being the case, some of these houses are being demolished by the regime. History is witnessing that this is one of the worst crimes this regime is doing to its ‘own people’.
Attached are some few sample photos: 1) Demolished houses in Arbaete-Asmera and 2) X marked houses in red ready to be demolished in Daero-Kawlos, may be by now they are demolished.
For those blind and die-hard supporters of the regime I call them to come to their senses (if they have any) and reason out. Despite the so many sacrifices made the country is drifting down hill. Corruption is rampant, the banks are empty and prices of basic consumer items are no longer affordable by the ordinary citizens. People are living in fear and poverty.
It is time that every Eritrean should do his/her best to shorten the regime’s stay in power. Let us Unite.

I am trying to understand who’s houses are those? How is it possible connected to poltics?
For example if you live in United state, the land owned by the state and you can buy the land and you can sold it or you can built it.but you can’t built it out of the master plan of the micipality or master plan of the city, you need to get approved by the city.so, are those houses approved by the city ? I am not trying to connect this with the polotics. But I belive it depends on the micipality ruls and master plan of each city.
In my opinion we don’t want to built a city like uganda and kenya…..other African countries. Please try to see my comments out of plotics.
and I need some answers if some one knows about the questions I asked on the above.
Thank you

We waited for twenty years for master plan
to build the country from ever we reside like
Ethiopians at same past circumstances of ours.

Miki even if you have a perimit according to the city plan, if sameone don’t like you, then they can destroy not only your house but also the whole family. You seems as if you are tentional deep sleep. The way you argue seems to justify there is a rule of law. Nice try bro

You see what’s your problem is always mix polotics with other problem’s. I use to work 14 years ago in asmera (mazagajabet) and one thing that I know the city of asmara don’t allow any body to built if the city did give a permit or if any house out of master plan it should be demolished. The reason they did that if someone built it out off master plan or with out permits and just to give him a penalty and let the owner free was not accepteble, they don’t want to motivate people do that. So that demolishing house been there for long time. Don’t judge people like that.let say we have a normal government are they going to allow any body to built anything they want, if so that’s bad.so let see this matter out of plotics contest.
If someone house is demolished because of hate , that’s a hate crime and one day someone will be responsible for that.

Good question, let me share you my best informations i have, did you hear fights among the people of cities or small cities? Hopefully you never heard like me because the people received the land to build house from the government ( let’s say it government for time being but it is not doing job of government). Every city has master plan and the gov handed the land to the people of each city that’s why the people did not fight each other by streets or better places. But these lands do not have blue print proved by the government. The government denied them and the people need house to live.

Let’s say your concern building with out permit is true. Why did the government wait years before they destroy the houses? Why don’t they stop them when they start building the houses and spend hundreds thousands of nakfa?
AHMED SALEH March 14, 2015
I used to watch in T.V. how Israeli army demolish Palestinians homes to punish them which makes nonsense to
leave behind families with children homeless . And now we see the same practice in our own country for stupid
reason to make our people loose their entire future investment to live withdrawn from lifetime dream .
We heard foolish excuses for more than twenty years to offend our intelligence to cover up their unability to constitute
land reform and blue print plans for future construction developments in the country .
Anyway people will build their life and they will destroy until warriors like Adi Keih confront them courageously .
A good friend of mine happened to him last year inside Asmera , he hassled hard to build in his parents land but at
the end they came to demolish his property after all bribes paid for permit paper as he told me .

Mike, let me help you here if your question is honest and you don’t smell like those rotten hegdefawyan. The problem is they let them built the houses, not telling them to do so and after they finish and live for a while, order comes from above to demolish. Why? B/c the people and country do not need to settled in peace. Know that HEGDF’s policy is weird in every aspect of their leadership; no one understand except handful people. Everything is secret and no transparency.
Oh my Country cry out…..

But we lost the opportunity from some reason
of their disincouragements from high priced
market .

I think Isayas even is now surprised by the silence of the Eritrean people. He is trying every evil act to check the threshold level of our silence but he couldn’t see any reaction. Deqisna alena niHawaru keman niberaber aymeslenin. neger tewediu.

I believe most Eritrean population has mentality issues. We are doomed for the end. May God save us.
Stefanos Temolso March 15, 2015
Mike: Nobody ever told you to connect it with politics. This is the first time in the History of Eritrea that houses built according to Master plan are demolished. During Haile Selassie’s or Dergue’s era houses that were built without the order of the municipality but if they are according to plan they were simply paying a penalty. How come the wealth of a nation be destroyed in such a manner? This only shows that the regime does not care an iota about the wellbeing of the people. So, Mike just say, wether this horrible and brutal action is correct, beneficial or not.

Im lacking a single sight to see how some people are trying to justify this regardless act. This should not be the only yardstick to measure the evilness of the president, I think we have seen enough dictatorial acts being committed by him and his generals. He, I think, has stoop way too low which made us look a fool.
I am not sure how far we are going to let him go. He should have been long gone !!
