Hgdef’s Eritrea is full of odd surprises. Surprises a normal person would never expect or even dream of. It is un-natural that a government, which claims to represent the people would give top priority to DESTRUCTION rather than CONSTRUCTION, but this is the case with Hgdef’s Eritrea.

All construction (buildings) have been officially banned some ten years back. Yet you see here and there some small house buildings who have got permits may be issued in Kebabis such as Arbaete-Asmera, Tselot, Daero-Kawlos etc. This being the case, some of these houses are being demolished by the regime. History is witnessing that this is one of the worst crimes this regime is doing to its ‘own  people’.

Attached are some few sample photos: 1) Demolished houses in Arbaete-Asmera and 2) X marked houses in red ready to be demolished in Daero-Kawlos, may be by now they are demolished.

For those blind and die-hard supporters of the regime I call them to come to their senses (if they have any) and reason out. Despite the so many sacrifices made the country is drifting down hill. Corruption is rampant, the banks are empty and prices of basic consumer items are no longer affordable by the ordinary citizens. People are living in fear and poverty.

It is time that every Eritrean should do his/her best to shorten the regime’s stay in power. Let us Unite.

This had happened before and will happen more as long as dia is alive, no surprise there. Unfortunately the people as a whole lack cohesion and will to act together. There is a culture of selfishness and disregard to the basic rights of your fellow country men and women. To be honest the ruling regime especially dia is a master of mind control. He knows what strings to pull in order to get the existing slavish behavior by 5 million souls.

Dani Amiche asked us “Who is really to blame? “…every one must ask him/her self.

First i want to express my sympathy to the poor who remain with out a shelter.

But in this case it is not easy to criticize only the Shifta Gov. Because it is difficult and complex question. It starts from question of the land-ownership.In the normal countries land belongs to the Gov., communities or to land lords. In Bahre Negash it is clear to all of us, Shefatu are the rulers ,which means the land belongs to them..So if the ruler told you not to do it, don’t do it.
2nd..Don’t be selective,be consistent. if we condemn the demolition in Arbaite -Asmera,Tselot,Adi-Keyih etc by Shifta boos Issu we have to condemn also the burnings of Kunama houses by the notorious Shifta Awate..Yes what do you expect then,as the saying “like father, like son”…In 2015 Issu used bulldozers whereas Shifta Awate in 60s didn’t have bulldozers instead he had matches to burn the Kunama huts.
The most laughable hypocrisy,i have read connecting with this sad news was.. “The level of cruelty exhibited was such that the people suspect the troops might be members of the Ethiopian opposition movement known as Demhit”….Look even at the time when Ghedli becomes naked in-which to be seen by everyone, the Ghedli lovers do not stop looking for a blanket to cover it.እንታይ እሞ እንተሸፈንካዮ ዘይሽፈን እንዶ ኮይኑ ዕርቃ ገድሊ.
