The conference will be looking into why so many Eritreans are leaving their country at great risk to their lives. Over the last decade, Eritrea has produced the largest number of refugees per capita in the world, year-on-year even though there is no conflict: and much more than countries that are sadly ravaged, by war such as Syria and Afghanistan. The recent developments between Eritrea and Ethiopia have raised hopes of change but the number of refugees fleeing into the neighbouring countries continues unabated. The conference will focus on what is driving so many Eritreans to flee their homeland that they love, and if the recent rapprochement with Ethiopia will have any impact on the “Push Factor”.

I would say that Push and Pull factors are coordinating their activities to drain Eritrean of its inhabitants. In fact they are the same forces that had liquidated ELF nearly forty years ago.
The ELF push factors were: 1. The allied force of EPLFS and TPLFS
The ELF pull factors were: the same conglamarate of international forces that had hooked Eritrean into a sham federation with Ethiopia in the fifties

Let me contribute to the upcoming conference by asking a question,why does an innocent underage child regardless of a national origin or political situation leave the comfort of of his/her home behind and venture to the unknown? I know there will be journalists, childhood psychologists even pediatricians there,if you dig in,the Eritrean society today will reveal some Pulitzer winning discovery for the world to learn from.

I am always in favour of being inquisitive and asking questions on any subject under the sun. To do it in a formal meeting is even much more productive and a good catalyst for others to follow suit. So, what is the question?
The question is: Quote “…. WHY DO ERITREANS ARE LEAVING THEIR COUNTRY AT GREAT RISK TO THEIR LIVES?” Unquote. The question is very clear, unambiguous and to the point. And so, accordingly, the answer must be clear, unambiguous and to the point.
Answer: BECAUSE, ERITREA, UNDER ISSAYAS AFEWERKI ABRAHA, HAS TURNED INTO ERTHLY HELL.
That should be the successful END of the Meeting, as the strict agenda and clear preamble, as well as duration of the meeting [ “17:30 to 18:50 pm”] indicate it may not be possible for the Meeting to come-up with a SOLUTION to the ERITREAN PROBLEM. THE END

Indeed forced to evaluate by all means. The real factor is clear but no one addressed it properly. However, the solution is to be discussed mainly those flee their home. Fleeing is not a solution at all.

why Eritrean people, especially the youth flee Eritrea? because DIA destroyed Eritrean culture and value. Even now, the youth is fleeing Eritrea, while outsider are going in. When you have kids grow up without a father, the value of pride and responsibility is successfully killed. The push factor is not material things, but the absence of self-worth. When a society becomes a shadow of former itself, systemic push factor have met its goal.

A systematically implemented policy of Ethiopia and the Ethiopian Isaias Afewerki’s applying his grand policy of eradication of the native Eritreans. This was repeatedly said by all Ethiopian leaders including Meles Zenawi of “If the colour of the Japanese or Eritrean is not favoured by Ethiopian government, they should be deported.”end quote. Isaias has technically done that and is still doing it. The next move is to fill in the gap by Ethiopian Business men & women and labourers from the Northern Ethiopia.
The only solution is to declare Isaias Persona Non Grata or get rid of him as soon as possible by any means preferably Legally..I can declare war on anybody, because I believe in peaceful changes.
