The 30 years war of Eritrean independence was meant to be a war to end all wars. Unfortunately this is not to be so. Today Eritrea is back at war this time with itself. It is a war between those who seek the implementation of the constitution, the rule of law and respect of human rights and those who deny these rights. It is also a war of ideas. In short it is a war between the ideology of repression and the ideology of liberation.
