Shimeles Kemal said the attack happened Thursday. He said Ethiopia launched the attack because Eritrea was training “subversive groups” that carried out attacks inside Ethiopia.
Ethiopia and Eritrea fought a border war from 1998 to 2000.

It is a lesson for the dictator to stop terrorizing its own people and destabilizing neighbours. Any one in the Eritrean Army ( bet warsay or awrasi) should defect otherwise face the quensequense. It is stupid and even crime to stay in the Army and support the Dictatorial regime while innocent brothers and sisters are slaughtered for crosing the boarder. Credible sources from inside Eritrea have disclosed that the DIA and his Thugs are discussing on how to respond to the attack either to inform the public that the Woyane invaded our territory and mobilize the public accordingly or simply bring some old pictures and show that the woyanes were destryed and captured some its soldiers and then boost the moral of the public.
But it seems that the regime will prefere the second option as the first option will expose its weakness.
