ሃገርና ኤርትራ ህዝባ ብዝተፈላለየ ብሄርን ሃይማኖትን ዝቖመ እኳ እንተኾነ ብዘለዋ ጂኦግራፊካዊ ኣቋውማ መግዛእቲ ጥልያን ንምምሕዳር ክጥዕሞ ኣብ ኣውራጃታትን ወረዳታትን ብዝኸፋፈላ እታ ኣሰር ኣብ ኣተሓሳስባ ብዙሓት ስጋብ ሕጂ ሰሪጹ ኣሎ። እዚ ምምሕድዳራዊ ምክፍፋል እዚ፣ ብዓሌት፣ ሃይማኖት ወይ ቁጠባዊ ኣገዳስነት ዝኾነ ምትእስሳር ኣይነበሮን። ምስ ጊዜ ምንዋሕ ዝፈጠሮ ናይ ኣእምሮ ምትእስሳር ልክዕ ከምቲ ገዛእቲ ክኾኖ ዝደለይዎ እኳ እንተዘይኾነ ዕላምኦም ኣይወቕዑን ክንብል ግን ኣጸጋሚ እዩ።
ስርዓት ሃይለስላሴ ብረታዊ ቃልሲ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ብምዕራባዊ ቆላ ምስጀመረ ፍሉይ ናይ ምስልምና ምንቅስቃስ ኣንጻር ክርስትያን ምዃኑ ከእምንን ከለዓዕልን ዘይፍሓሮ ኣይነበረን። እቲ ናይ “ገረብ ብሓኽላ” ስልቱ ንምትግባር ኤርትራውያን ዜጋታት ብእስራኤላውያን ክኢላታት ፍሉይ ናይ ኮማንዶ ታዕሊም ኣሰልጢኑ ንምንቅስቃስ ሰውራ ኤርትራ ዝሃድና ኣሃዱታት ኣቁሙ ኣብ ነንሕድሕድና ደም ንምትካል ዝከኣሎ ጌሩ። ነቶም ኣብ ከምዚ ዝዓስቦም ሰባት ነቲ ናይ ኣእምሮኦም ብስለት መምዘኒ ዝወሃቦም ናይ ቃል ምርመራ ከም “ሓያም ክንደይ ትወልድ” ዝኣመሰሉ ሕቶታት ምንባሮም ብሂወት ዘለው ዝምስክሩዎ እዩ። “ልብን ሳዕርን እንዳሓደረ ይቦቁል” ከምዝበሃል ግን ህዝብና “ኩማንድስ ወደል ንዓየ ንዓየ ተጋደል” ኢሉ ምስደረፈሎም ኣብ ጎድኒ ተቓለስቲ ኣሕዋቶም ተጸንቢሮም ሃገራዊ ጉቦኦም ዝፈጸሙ ውሑዳት ኣይኮኑን። ከባቢኹም ባዕልኹም ሓልው ብምባል ነጭ ለባሽ ዝብል ስም ሂቡ ብዘይ ወትሃደራዊ ስልጠና ብረት ዘዕጠቖም ሓረስቶት፣ ህዝብና ሽግር ናይ ጸጥታ ስለዝነበሮ ዘይኮነ ጎዶቦታት ዓድታት ብቓጾዖን ናይ መጓሰ ሕዛእትን ደም ክፋሰሱሉን ክኳሳተሩሉን ዝወጠኖ ውዲት እኳ ይኹን እንበር ነቲ ገዛእቲ ዝዓደሉዎ መቓተሊ ኣጽዋር በቲ ንዘመናት ዝተወራረሰ ናይ ኣፈታትሓ ግርጭት ጭዋ ባህልና እዩ በርዒኑ።
ኣውራጃታት ሃገርና ብመወለድ ዝተሓናፈጻ እየን። እተን ህዝብና ዝኽተለን ሃይማኖታት’ ውን ልክዕ ከምኡ። ሓቅነት ናይዚ ብብዙሕ መረዲኢታት ክበርህ ይኽእል እዩ። ንኹሉ ንምዝርዛር ንባዕሉ ብዙሕ ቅጽታት ዝሓዘ መጽሓፍ ስለዝኾነ ነመርድኢ ዝኸውን እነሆ ቆንጪልና ነቐርብ።
ብሄረ ትግረ ኣብ ኩለን ኣውራጃታት ሃገርና ተዘርጊሑ ይርከብ። ኣብ እዋን ሓጋይን ከረምትን ካብን ናብን ኣከለጉዛይ፣ሓማሴን፣ሰምሃር እንዳተመላለሱ ህይወቶም ዝመርሑ ኣባላት ብሄራት ሳሆ፣ትግርኛን ትግረን ኣለው። ካብ ገለ ክፋላት ሰራየ ሓማሴንን ሰንሒትን’ ውን ናብ ጋሽ ባርካ ዝወርዱ ምህላዎም ኩሉ ይፈልጦ። እዚ ምስ ንግድን ሽቕለትን ብዘይተኣሳሰር ብሕርሻን መጓሰን ቀጥታዊ ተጠቃምነት ናይ መሬት ኢና ንገልጽ ዘለና። ብሃይማኖታዊ መልክዕ እንተጠሚትና እውን ዳርጋ ፍርቀን ብሄራትና ብዝሑ ብዘየገድስ ህዝበን ብተኸተልቲ ሃይማኖት ምስልምናን ክርስትናን ዝቖመ ኮይኑ ኣብ እዋን ጸገምን ጸበባን ካብ ክልቲኡ ወገን ሽግሮም ንምፍዋስ እምነቶም ኣብ ውሽጦም ጌሮም ብሓባር ናብ ይውፍሱ ወይ ይፈልጡ እዮም ኢሎም ዝተቐበሉዎም መሻይኽ ኮነ ደባትር ይኸዱን ብሓባር ንምሕረቶም ማይ ጨሎት ይሕጸቡ። ብመወለድ ምስ ንግንዘብ ከኣ ደንከልያ ዝመበቆሎም ኣብ ሰራየን ኣከለጉዛይን ካብ ቅድመ ነዊሕ ዓመታት ኣትሒዘን ተደኩነን ዘለዋ ዓድታት ህያው ምስክር እየን። ካብ ዝባውንቲ ሓማሴን ሳጊሞም ኣብ ሳሕል ከባቢ ናቕፋ ዝርከቡ ህዝቢ ነዊህ ወለዶን ሱር ዝሰደደ ምትሕንፋጽ ዝሕከኽ ኣይኮነን። ብርክት ዝበለ ቁጽሪ ዝሓቖፈ ኣብ ዳርጋ ኩለን ኣውራጃታትና ሓደ ዓየንት ኣስማት ዘለወን ዓድታት፣ ቁሸታት፣ በረኻታትን ከምዘሎ ኩሉ ዝፈልጦ ኮይኑ ኣመጻጽኡን ምትእስሳሩን ንምርዳእ ዘሸግር ኣይኮነን። ካልእ ብዙሕ ካብዚ ተተንኪፍ ዘሎ ብዝዓሞቐን ዝነጸረን ደማዊ ምጽንባር ዘለዎ ህዝቢ ምዃኑ ብደረት ናይ ሃይማኖት፣ብሄርን ኣውራጃን ዝፍለ ከምዘይኮነ ከም ጽሓይ ቀትሪ በጣዕጣዕ ዝበለ ሓቂ እዩ። እዚ ብኸምዚ ምጥንናግ ዝቖመ ህዝቢ ልዕሊ ኩሉ ኸዓ ንኤርትራውነቱ ልዕሊ ማንም ዝተበጀወ ፣ ሕጂ ናይ መፈላለይ ነቓዕ ክትረክብ ሃሰው ኢልካ ክትፍግፍግ ምፍታን ኣተሓስስብኦም ከም በቕሊ ፈራይን ጸጋይን ይግበሮ።
ተጋድሎ ሓርነት ኤርትራ ናይ ደቂ መታሕት ጥራይ ጌሮም ዝወስዱዋ ብሃማት ስጋዕ ሕጂ ኣለው። ስለምንታይ ብኸምኡ ይርእይዎ እንተኢልና መልሲ ናይ እቶም ናቶም ጌሮም ዝወስዱዋ ወገንን ከምዘይናቶም ጌሮም ዝወስዱዋ ካልኦትን በቲ ክውንነት ዘይኮነ በቲ ንሶም ዝደልይዎ ዝምቡዕ ኣመለኻኽታ ስለ ዝትንትንዎ ጥራሕ እዩ እንበር፣ ግብራዊ እንታውነታ’ ሲ ንኹሉ ትውክል ብተሳታፍነት ናይ ኩሉ ብሄርን ኣውራጃን ዝቖመት ሃገራዊት ናይ ቃልሲ ውድብ ምዃና ማንም ዘይሓኮ ግብራዊ ሓቂ እዩ። “ህዝባዊ ግንባር ሓርነት ኤርትራ ንሙሁራት ደቂ ኣከለጉዛይ መንካዕ ኢሉ ኣጥፊኡዎም፣ እቲ መሪሕነት ብደቂ ሓማሴን ዝቖመ እዩ” ኢሉ ዒሕ ዝብል ወገን ነቶም ብስም ‘የሚን’ ዝተቐንጸሉ ደቂ ኣየናይ ወገን ስለዝኾኑ እዮ ክብሎም? እቲ ውድብ ብደቂ ገዛውቲ ወይ ብደቂ ዕቁብ ዝቖመ ዘይኮነስ ምረት መግዛእቲ ዝፈጠሮ፣ ሰብ በብዝነበሮ ካብ ጉስነት፣ ማሕረስ፣ ትምህርትን ሽቕለትን ኣብ በረኻ ሂወቱ ንኽብጁ ዝተኣኻኸበ ምዃኑን ኣብቲ መስርሕ ዝተፈጥረ በለጽን ክሕደትን ከቃልዕ ዘይበላሓት?

ሰማይ ዝሃገርኩም እዞም ኣብ ናይ ዶብ ግጭት ህይወቶም ዝሰኣኑ ካብ ኩሉ ወገን ኣይኮኑን ክትብሉ ኣይትኽእሉን ኢኹም። ነዚ ኣብ መገዲ ስደት ዝሃልቕ ዘሎ ወለዶ ናበየናይ ኣውራጃ ኢኹም ከተወግኑዎ። ጫፍ ሒዝካ ኣብ ትፈልጦ ዘይብልካ ስምዒታዊ ካብ ምዃን ጠንቂ ንምፍላጥ ብዓቅልን ምስትብሃልን ንዝፈልጡ ምውካስ ይምረጽ መሳርሒ ሕቡኣት ካብ ምዃን።
ዝበዝሑ ጀነራላትን ላዕለዎት መኮንናት ኣዘዝቲ ሰራዊት ስርዓት ህ.ግ.ደ.ፍ ደቂ ሓማሴን ስለዝኾኑ፣ ህዝቢ እቲ ኸባቢ ዝረኸቦ ቅንጣብ ፍሉይ ሓለፋ የለን። ስለምንታይ እቲ ኣቃውማ ሰራዊት ከምኡ ኮይኑ፣ ውጥን ናይቲ ከይሲ ኢሳያስ ኣፈወርቂ እዩ’ ምበር፣ ብብቕዓት ከምዘይኮኑ ኣሽምባይ ምስኦም ዝተጋደለ እሶም’ ውን ንነብሶም ይፈልጡዋ እዮም። እዞም ሰብ ጽሩራታት እዚኦም ኣብ ሕድሕዳዊ ቂምን ጽልእን ዝተገማምዑ፣ ብጸቢብ ዘይተሓላለፍ ኣብ ሰናይ ፍቓድ ኣይኦም ኢሳያስ ተመርኪዞም እዮም ዝነብሩ። ኩሉ መዋቕር ናይ ስለያ ትካላት፣ ኣተግበርቲ፣ ወሰንቲ፣ ተቖጻጸርትን ዝለዓለ ጉዳያት ናይቲ ስርዓት ብናይ መንነት ጸገም ዘለዎም ሕሩያት ሰባት እዩ ቆይሙ። ብዓይኒ ረብሓ ጸቢብ ጉጅለ ወይ ፍሉይ ወገንነት እንተጠሚትና እዞም ጫሌዳ እዚኦም ዝጎንዑዎ ክፋል ሕብረተሰብ የለን።
ወገንነት ንምቅላስ ወገናዊ ምጥርናፍ ምግባር ንምፍልላይ ዘጋድድ እንበር ነቲ ጋግ ዘጽብብ ኣይኮነን። ምኽንያቱ ነቲ ወገናውነት ክህሉ ወይ ብወገን ውልቃዊ ድልየታቱን ረብሕኡን ከተግብር ዝተላዕለ ኣካል በቲ ናቱ ኣካይዳ ግብረ መልሲ ምሃብ ማለት ዕላምኡ ንኽወቅዕ ብተዘዋዋሪ መገዲ ምሕጋዝ እዩ። ንኹሉ መዳያት ገማጢልካ እንተሪእኻዮ፣ እቶም ሓደ ወገን ኣይሕሹዎ እቶም ካልኦት ኣይሓምቁዎ። የማን ኢልካ ጸጋም ከምቲ ምስላ “እንተበለ ኣንበሳ ጸይመ፣ ጣንጡ ተሓጉመ መን ይኣምኖ ዝተዓዘመ” እዩ ነገራቱ። እቲ ካብ ኩሉ ዘሕዝን ግን ኣብ 21 ክፍለ ዘመን እሞ ኸኣ ኣብተን ስልጡናት ሃገራት ኤውሮጳን ኣሜሪካን ህዝቢ ሙሉእ ዓለም ተሓዋዊሱ ኣብ ዝነብቶ ተሰዲዶም ዘለው ዜጋታትና ዝያዳ ምንጽብራቑ እዩ።

Here we go! We thought Dembe Elsa Chirum was only about “human rights”. But this article raises many suspisions. She raises those sub-national feelings and blames others with poor arguments and no real recommendation to deal with these problems. Everyone who came to Europe through Libya knows that she was asking first “Deki Abey Kebabi Eyom” when she was asked to help. And now she is telling us youth from all parts of Eritrea were dying in the sea. This must be irony!

No any Eritrean association nor your idiotic Hgdef regime of Issaias Afewerki had defended the plight of Eritrean refugees the way this great Eritrean woman – Elsa Chyrum had done.
Elsa Chyrum is an individual, however, she and her supporters have done far more than the so called the State of Eritrea.
The Hgdef regime was nowhere to be seen and heard when more than 400 Eritreans perished in the coastal waters of Libya. The Hgdef regime that blabbers about the death in Iraq, Somalia, hurricane Catherina, Uganda, the elections in Kenya … was no where to comment or express sympathy to the mass murder of Eritreans.
But Elsa Chyrum and Aba Mussie were crying for them in front of the whole world and investigating their death and plight.
The testimony given by Eritrean refugees in Libya, Egypt, Israel and Ethiopia is enough.

It is my expectation that like part 1 of these series this article uncovers a lot of issues about the nature of our political culture and environment. I expect these series will give light to many aspects of Eritrea’s unspoken dark political alleys.
It is too early to comment, however, the plight of Eritrean young women, the crimes of Ghedli, the crimes committed by Jebha on the Kunama and Qohain people and why they chose to be Neche Lebashs to defend their honour, women and property; the murders of innocent peasants and urbanites in the hands of Jebha and shaebia security agents; the forceful conscription of Eritrean peasants to be used as a cannon fodder or fenji regatchs …
I do not want these series to tangentially pass the core issues that has been debilitating Eritrea by blaming “Ethiopia” or “mengza’eti” or only Hgdef. If we have to dig our skeletons, it should not be selective.
For those starters, I urge them to read Yosief Ghebrehiwet (YG), Zekre Libona, Gabriel Gangul … and many others in Asmarino.com. It would be useful to start by reading the classic YG’s article “Romanticizing Ghedli”

‘Cannon fodder’ and ‘fenji regatchs’ are two completly different terms and can not be connected by ‘or’ as you do above. Cannon fodder is an informal derogatory term used to describe men thrown into forward position during a battle, against hopeless odds. “fengi regach” is a new term coined by the sadistic and barbaric woyane, it means mine sweeper. Woyane put several hundred Oromo descend Ethiopians in such position during the Ethio-Eritrea conflict. To cover up the horrendous loss of life that befallen their conscripted rag tag army, the sadists also formed/coined another term called “aglai” these are peasants who run ahead of the infantry by placing the dead in mass graves ant hence preserving moral. So, I do not know what you meant in your article above.

For your information, there were thousands of poor Eritreans who were who were used as cannon fodder and/or fenji regachs in Eritrea. These were many from all sectors of Eritrea but the main ones were the poor Eritrean rounded-up peasants used in the battles of Barentu and the ex Faluls who were thrown into the battle of Massawa.
These are just examples. There were many Eritreans who were executed on false charges as CIA agents, as Mossad agents, muhur tebalatsi, as Ethiopian spies, for being a different ethnic or religion or for going to higher school or for asking a question …
This is the reason that I wrote we need to examine our past without being selective.
The plight of Eritrean women includes why are the Kebesa and the Kunama women only rounded up to be used and abused by the Hgdef military brass? …

In my student years back in the 90s before Dehai.org turned into a canopy of bigots, there was a frenzy of touting the Webster and Oxford English Dictionaries to add “Fenj-regachoch” as a term deriding the Weyanes for sending soldiers into a bomb infested war fields. Little did they know that, it was a feel-good leeway to conceal Isaias’ sorry line when he invoked the law of the Universe (Kab Bad’me kin’wetsi’E malet tsaHay……..) as a metaphor to brandish his military bravado. Circa ten years head on, time is striping Isaias for what he is. A liar, tyrant and of course a sadist who takes gratification out of people’s misery.

What did Eritrea benefit from the war Issais started ? This was the outcome of that senseless war: we lost about 40 thousands of Eritrean lives ( not 19 thousand), one-third was Eritrea was under the control of Woyanie in few weeks, immense property destruction, and we are still in “no war-no peace” situation . The following was found in Hgdef’s Dehai web site. A certain Dawit Habte post the message to prove that “there is no famine in Eritrea”. Little did the person try to use this simple info as a price index for inflation, given the meager regular salary given to Eritreans.
The person traveled south of Asmara around Mai Nefhi college to buy an ox. This is what he reported as the cattle and sheep market price two weeks ago.
His uncle bought an ox for 27,000 Nakfa (US$ 1,750) i.e. one thousand-seven hundred and fifty American dollars!; the price of a regular sheep was 5.500 Nakfa (US$ 350) i.e. Three hundred and fifty American dollars.
All at official rate he provided.
I will leave the economic and political interpretation to you. However, note that a regular conscripted Eritrean makes only 400 Nakfa per month.
This is the economic development Zemhret Yohanes was boasting of; adding that “there is no one starving in Eritrea”. How can one feed his own family on 400 Nakfa, pay for rent, transportation, health, clothes and eat food. I am not talking about eating meat because a lamb meat or chicken has become beyond the means of every Eritrean.
No wonder young Eritreans are running away from Eritrea because of the political and starving economic conditions.
