Dear Assenna,
We the Eritreans who are bearing the Eritrean passport are forced to fill the form in the Eritrean embassy with the intimidation that no consult services will be given if you have not sent the filled form to the CIO.
We have sent the form in the embassy but at the same time we have also sent the bellow message to the UN.
Dear Sirs,
I live in Saudi Arabia due to the unlimited national servitude in my country Eritrea.
I came here by crossing our boarder towards Sudan illegally.
I received the Eritrean passport in Khartoum after payment of USD 250.00 and waiting 3 months.
This opportunity was possible because when the Eritrean embassy denied us and the Ethiopian embassy started to issue passports to help the Eritrean refugees.
Now I am working in Saudi Arabia but the embassy actually exploits us to collect money from us on several obligatory means:
1- 2% from our income as tax.
2- minimum USD 350.00 per annum for obligatory assistance to the family of martyrs. I am not against the concept but it has no transparency.
3- From USD 150.00 upwards per annum for many different development false projects. There is no audit nor responsibility for the collectors.
4- Now we are persuaded to write to the UN bodies that:
a) There is no rape in Eritrea when it there.
b) There is always electricity and water. Actually there is none of them regularly. It is luxury.
c) The national service/slavery has no limit and has no payment. It is only USD 10.00 per month.
d) There is progress. The truth is there is actually retrogress.
Besides,
People has no right to do business, no right to construct your house, no right to speak or write your opinion.
Thousands are jailed in dungeons and underground cells for no reason. No lawyer is allowed to follow their case because no one knows where they are.
The atrocities in Eritrea are countless but we are tied from speaking out because we hold the Eritrean passport .
To add insult to injury we are persuaded to write the above to the UN as petition from the Eritrean people in Diaspora and failure to comply will be rejection of passport renewal and other consular services.
Yours,
Concerned Eritrean From Saudi Arabia

Human rights abuse by this mafia regime is to much. What can you say about this except shake your head and do your part to oppose and stand up for the people.
Iseyas is the the envoy of Satan sent to terrorize Eritrea.
It is up to us to defend our selves and get rid of this cancer that is causing us pain and suffering.

Eritrean Embassies throughout Middle Easter countries have prepared their own questionnaire to collect opinions on Human Rights abuses from residents abroad.
This latest move was taken to mitigate the effect of the previous document which was leaked to the internet, and may be brought to the attention of UN agencies.
Citizens are under pressure to reply to questions in writing. The situation of Eritreans in Middle Eastern countries is not much different than of those living in Eritrea.

HGDF’S foot soldiers in diaspora have luxury to maneuver freely in
Eritreans social affairs while the silent majority keep giving them
needed space to harass their community . If people can not exercise
the protected right of freedom in western countries to defend their
unfortunate fellows from unjust and oppressive treatment , there is
no need to put the blame solely at HGDF regime .
To bring people’s power from down-up requires us also to clean up in down-up process . HGDF foot soldiers in our backyards need to stop
acting like tools against people’s common interest .
Eritreans inside the country and those with Eritrean passport will
suffer since these dummies preferred to close their eyes .

This is happening in Australia too. Many people have been forced to complete the forms and send to the evil representatives of the evil regime. That means this is a jock. The names of those people must be exposed to the australian Authorities sooner than later.

AFOM,
You said, ” Many people have been forced to complete the forms and send to the evil representatives of the evil regime”. What does “force” mean? Can’t people say “NO” and refuse to sign. I don’t think anyone is putting a gun in their heads (specially in Australia) to fill and sign the form. What I see here is these “many people” are not assertive enough to make a stand and say “NO” In many fronts passiveness has been the main problem with Eritreans. Just say NO to dictatorship.
