PFDJ Singapore was meant to be Sing-a-Poor and collect money.
You see the solution to make Eritrea “Singapore” was in their hands, but their system does not allow freedom for prosperity. Diplomatically opening up Asab was good enough to make Eritrea prosperous. But secrecy, evil deeds against own people and hunger for power made them loose credibility. The government will continue to abuse the people, and the people will continue their struggle for survival until they get democratic system that they can trust.
As to the writer above, have you asked the group to join? When you asked them did anyone reject you? I think the Kenya meeting was a starter and please give democracy a chance and have the tolerance to constructively give your opinion. Your article seems to me further divides and fails to bring people together.

We came all the way long to see some modest changes for reconciliation
among political parties regardless the identity of promoters . For
several years past times we were disappointed from political parties
failure to achieve peace and national UNITY . And we can’t keep our
feet in cold water to stay at same scenario that we observe presently.
Nairobi meeting open the door in some extent the continuation on needed
dialogue among Eritreans .
To make matters worst some people seem more concerned about Weyane
influenced politics to go further at the expense of Eritreans causes .
It might misinterpret means of DELEYTI FITHI if we can’t honor the
principle to stand in support of conflict resolve approaches .
By the way what is the purpose to voice in Weyane owned forum ?
Doesn’t raise my eyebrows to second guess the reason behind it ?
Stay alerted from anyone who try to seed thought of mistrust and
division in opposition groups .

In case Medrek initiatives they have obligation to inform people
about the meeting in detail . Because they can’t get support while
they left us alone to wonder in search of answers on topics that
bother our minds .
They must recognize the power of strong voices from Deleyti Fithi
in this movement. To ask for credibility and accountability is a
lesson learned from past experience . And to win our trust require
willingness to come with impressive political process that gives hope.

Dear Ahmed,
I do agree that medrekh has moral obligation to keep us informed. It is also to their benefit to inform us what their agendas and programs are if it is a political party or coalition of parties. B/s to rally people behind u, u need to explain to them what u want to change and why. Change without people’s base is futile and doomed to fail. I am wondering how one can come to power without people’s support. In the past we all were deceived b/s we did not think beyond independence. Hiji “ken kedem yimeslekin Whig yiwesdekin” eyu. I want to think their meeting is still positive thing although am not what they have achieved from it and did not like their exclusion of the media and others. Should not we work together to save Eritrea from higdef first and let the people choose what they want. Parties should only try to sell their programs to the people. People will then choose the one they want, that is what I believe.

Most of the older opposition wanabes elite leaders of diaspora are of the same riffraff from the dead Jebha and the dying Higdef camps.
Some of these political “dinosaurs”, as some call to these opportunists, are clueless let alone to solve Eritrean political mess because they had never been in Eritrea in the last 30 years.
