These guys agreed to create secret party when they were ELF
members . We might agree with their reasons but why again to
form secret party within EPLF their own organization bothers
me question the intention behind it . I wonder if that was the
case which left the country at darkness with no clear vision
but negative atmosphere of suspicion among each other .
And I don’t expect to see light of hope from individuals inside
HGDF ruling party upbringing who seem secretive and unpredictable .
Haile Weldensae knows Issayas intention , reputation and his
capabilities because he was present at all occasions of right
and wrong deeds . After independence instead they do something
to change the course for common beneits they choose to hand over
the unsuspecting people into his hands mercy . At the end we all
are doomed from faults made recklessly including our supposed
untouchable high rank officials for disastrous gift . SHAME ON THEM .
Well said brother, I couldn’t agree more. But If I can add something to it is that Isaias ill intention and never lasting lust for power didn’t come yesterday. It was there since the inception of the fascist Shaebia and they were all aware of it. If I can mention one example that took place in a place called Fishe Mirra in 1976 when all the heavy weight had a meeting, the adorable commander Ibrahim Afa raised the issues of ‘Menka’e’ and Issaias was so fierce and responded angrily ‘their case was closed’ and warned everyone in very threatening manner not to mention it again. They were all quite but by being quite they didn’t know that they also emasculated themselves by lionizing him. The so called G15 were well aware when thousands of selfless tegadeltis as well as commander Ibrahim Afa were about to be massacred. The dark gedli era logic stated that whether they turned blind eyes or part of the atrocious conspiracy.
They should have known that the double edge sword of Isaias would catch up with them when they were no longer needed and that was exactly happened after they emasculated the unsuspecting people and handed them over to his excellency in a silver plate. Because of their individual and collective failures or lack of bravery was the reason that we the people are paying a high price today.

It gets more interesting and listening it all. I would ask the following two questions:
1: How do I trust Haile if he was not honest to begin with on his early struggle years?
2: I am waiting to many others who know the history also but why is Haile not stating who was killed by Whom and why? If you have to tell it to be a history for Eritreans to know why hold back? Now, hold your horses my country men. You may be saying why open a can of warm? Or if I am nuts? ….Why do this and that – But are we all not here to learn the history of the struggle? Do those who were shot dead (as many swear to know that there are some who got killed for their stand during the liberation by the leaders if the struggle some of whom are in power in Eritrean now).
3: Don C has done a lot of favor for Eritrea. At least Don C has extracted a story to be written and shared to all Eritreans. How much more does Don C know? I am holding my comment on Don C for now.
4: This I say this to Haile – nice work. Hopefully the “new constitution” in Eritrea will set you free. I mean – on the eve of this Year’s new year the president of Eritrea had stated “Give us few months and new constitution was going to be implemented….”. I am hoping someone will ask that question next time President Isayas gets himself to the mic. although I would not want to be sitting on the other chair to do that.
With all respect Mr Drue why he left ELF while the other members of the Islah or armit shimagle who where striving to unify the five regions, like abdulader ramdan and others who stayed until the unification was fulfilled?

It is ironic that we wanted to see the righteous in him when he was all along the yes-man and eseyas’s right-hand man who would do everything to see eseyas as the sole leader. For whatever reason, he is the only one we all assumed was exempt from the criminal past of EPLF leadership. In part, because we knew he was captured and put in prison by the dergue regime and could have been killed by eseyas for letting the enemy capture him with his gun after he was freed by ELF, we decided he was a victim. But he was what he was. Thank you Mr. Dan Connel. That was an eye-opener.
