I am not defending them at all because your questions are also my questions. But I believe that they should be accountable in the court of Law. I believe that they created a monster and fostered a dictator by misleading us about whatever he did and whatever happened during the war for independence. Maybe they reacted when things start to fall apart.But better later than never. And whatever they did the court of law should decide whether they are guilty or not.
Semhar, you and me are not the only people with questions. Those Eritrean parents, brothers and sisters, and children of those who mysteriously disappeared in the field of eritrea also have a lot of questions. But G11 or G15 should have the right to stand up and defend themselves. Isn’t that right what our brothers and sisters sacrificed their live for? In addition,these people should be given credit for spending and wasting most of their years in the field for the good of Eritrea and look where tehy are for asking the right question.
Your/our questions should not only be addressed to G11; they should be addressed to all tegadelty in the army or otherwise for not acting at the right time – when the G11 tried to to voice their concern, when they were frozen from their posts, when they were arrested; when university students were arrested etc. A lot of questions my dear, a lot of them. These people were not about JUSTICE and had never been but rather competing for power by being so loyal to the very bloody dictator that threw them to the bottomless pit. We all heard the massacre of thousands selfless tegadellti in the mountains of Sahil as well as in the notorious Halewa Sewra.
