Pamphlets were distributed in the town of Tesenei (Western Eritrea) containing messages from Eritrean Solidarity Movement for National Salvation (Simret). The pamphlets that have been distributed several times in and around Tesenei were written in Arabic and Tigrigna calling for Eritreans to show their resistance to the dictatorial rule and highlighting the goals and objectives of Simret. At a time when most Eritreans are feeling helpless, to see Simret standing up for the people gives a glimpse of hope says the latest report we got from the area. Worried by such a bold move, the PFDJ made several attempts to collect the pamphlets but failed due to the number of papers the size of the area they were distributed. The carefully planned and executed operation added more fears to PFDJ since it never expected to find opposition pamphlets in some areas considered to be secure by PFDJ. Simret’s distribution of pamphlets were previously focused in Asmara and other major cities but this time the young movement has successfully echoed its messages in the western part of Eritrea. The latest operation is indeed another confirmation that Simret is becoming capable of carrying out missions inside the country.

Distributing flyers is way past due, don’t drag the resistance behind. situation inside Eritrea has ripened for upheaval and regime change. Whoever is ready to lead the inevitable revolution should present itself inside the country. We have had enough with bragging and nonsense.
