For anyone who objectively analyzes and assesses the current situation of Eritrea, the least that can be said is that the country is
heading in the wrong direction. Although the future cannot be certainly predicted, the majority of Eritreans can agree that the
country is moving towards a grim “uncharted waters” or approaching unknown and dangerous future and destiny.

Eritreans we should attempt to sort out, both the petty and complex
problems we have even if it is too late. If the Eritrean opposition can’t
see the looming colossal problem, i.e, the very existence of Eritrea which
Eritreans worked hard to create for decades, will inevitably be lost altogether.

EAJ, that sounds really good! i too think everybody is doing his/her own thing, which is either efficient nor promising. there is huge potential if people come together and exchange their ideas and thoughts.
assenna is an important platform, we could also use it as a starting point for such an focused exchange – i mean more than “only”leaving posts.

No offence or disrespect to opposition groups. But it gets annoying to keep crying wolf . After
witnessing people’s uprising to bring change including recent events in Ukraine it gets so frustrating issue when it comes about Eritreans.
Talk after talk without any tangible progress took very long time than we anticipated . And it
will effect the credentials of those political representatives because of failed leadership.

People say better late than none. But, in the case of Eriteria it is too late to raise this now. At least four years have passed calling for action than as Ahmed said and I repeatedly raised that, “Talk after talk without any tangible progress took very long time than we anticipated . And it will effect the credentials of those political representatives because of failed leadership.”

EPLF/PFDJ failed the people, especially the youth not now, but in 1995 and then in 1998. Nothing constructive activity took place since 1995. The opposition didn’t do better than the totalitarian state. Too many arguments, meetings, talks, unity and fracturing as if EPLF and ELF are the only groups who have the mandate to do whatever they like. Now, are you sure and serious to act in unison and so that the state is removed. Make it fact and effective. We will do our best to this end.
