Voice of Assenna: Amanuel of Assenna Talks Re Youth Movements Incl EYSNS, Forum, the Violence in Ethiopian Refugee Camps…During his Discussion with Eritrean Youth in Israel.
Dear Amanuel
You made a miste when you say ” I doont believe in nationalities (biherat afelalay)”. This equates to denying ones Identity. Eritrea is built by all nations (biherat) and we need to recognise their Identity and Language. We cant simply say we should only say Eritrea. They should be heard and respected to avoid any possible conflict in the future.
Amaniel you are every thing, you are journalist, you are activist but most of all you are one compassionate human being and Eritrean Hero. Thank you for all you do Brother.
Ammunuel i admire and appriciate every thing you are doing ,but i am not pleased with the comment.you said the Eritrean leader would have been admired and appriciated like Mandela if he would have led fairly after independence .This monster was created when no body questioned him when he killed and imprissoned for no reason since 1970 and YOU are forgetting those people ,if some body would have stopped him at the time what eritrea is facing now probably would have been avoided, please.PLEASE DO NOT COMPARE THIS PSYCHOPATH WITH MANDELLA.
First I would like to thank you for your relentless effort in educating our people by travelling thousand miles.
You answered the questions very well. I hope our people understand and focus on the ONLY and ONLY enemy of our nation- the ruthless-HIGDEF.
I almost satisfied by the discussion, but i am a little sorry because as my expectation because not deeply discussed or in the form question asked about the readiness how to rid the dictator. What i mean is i never listen any encouragement from the participants as well from Amanuel side weather or not there is a will to start in Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, like public apprising by participants. When i say this, i not mean the refugees in Israel only should ready for any public apprising or sacrifice, but in many cases i believe those youth in Israel have many reasons to take the first initiative. Ok! Brother Amanuel´s problem is understandable like in his opining speech said, after long difficult journey to those save their life how difficult it is to tell them to ready for any sacrifice, however the reality is without sacrifice and bloodshed there is no liberty. If the Libyans, Tunisians Egypt and others despite their comfort life some even while possess big house, Mercedes, and much money since have courage to sacrifice; why is poor Eritreans fear for their life? Anyway despite fear without dignity our people are Pershing elsewhere.
Lord Jesus says; “For who ever wants to save his own life wile lose it; but whoever lose his life for my sake will find it.” “Matthew 16; 25)
