Big credit putting together this simple and clear direction. Just a thought. I don’t know how it works on the other side of the pond, but shouldn’t a full address (including zip code) be helpful for those coming from the hotel and others. They can then use their smart phones to figure out best directions and live travel updates.
I am sure it will be a successful demonstration. Bimenfes misakum!
How many more demo do you need before you bring Essayas down?
And why all these excitments while Eritreans back home and especialy the young are suffering so much?
There is an old saying of “Nothing happens until something happens”, but the something is not just demo.
Anyways, ‘gueyey kab muwal kisad mihaz’ zibahal misla alo and now similarly, lets concentrate on real fights against the higdefs at home in Eritrea and not just by shouting and screaming outside Eritrea.
Lets also not forget that Essayas and his mafia group came to power by real and bitter struggle and they will only leave their power by real bitter struggle against them and not by fancy demo in the USA and Europe.
Geshu,
I couldn’t agree more with you on what you commented on this demo. Yes indeed, the mafia regime of Isaias Afewerki came to power with long and bitter struggle and would only be defeated by long and bitter struggle as well but surely not by demos after demos everywhere as we are witnessing to no positive result. I will repeat your question of ‘how many more do the opposition need to defeat the devil Isaias’?
Brother or sister Geshu, it sadly seems our men in the oppositions miss the gauyla wegah tibel leyti (dancing) so much that they have to organize more meetings and demos to satisfay their thirst of PFDJ’s type gauylas. Unlike our fathers who really fought for changes the present oppositions just want to get to power by short cut and that would only delay the change and would only give DIA longer life and stay in power.
Why do not speak directly forward that you aren’t and weren’t
part of Eritrean movement for change or HGDF supporter ?
What is your purpose to belittle our efforts with Guayla ?
Why always stand at the path against Eritreans interest ?
Too late , thought of destruction has no place right now . We
will ride the train that took M.Ghandi , M.L.King and W.Mandela
until reached to witness social justice . And thank you to wake-up
our sleeping mind from unknown intruders .
Well may be u r right but let the people in diaspora
Express their anger. This is not only a demonstration, it is a good aportunity for people who have the same cause to get together and it is a good thing for all of them to know each other. May God bless them and may God bring unity among them.
Eritreans within and without Eritrea are suffering. What have we done so far to alleviate the suffering or even bring the dictatorial regime down is one question we all need to answer. Bringing down the dictator is not the responsibility or task of an individual nor any one particular group. We have to do it as a people or we go on suffering as we have done so far. However, there are those of us (most likely pfdj tags in sheep skin, shedding crocodile tears)who seem to have decided to keep on discouraging Eritreans who are doing their best to be the voice of the voiceless Eritreans within. Eritreans organizing and participating in demonstrations against pfdj represent our people within. They voice what the repressed people is not allowed to voice and they are sending a message to the international community. If what scares pfdj (New York or Geneva demonstration) scares you something is totally wrong with you. If you think cheap talk is gonna discourage justice-seekers from demonstrating go have your mind checked.

Thank you for your dedication. This regime will be gone because of your contribution and the contribution of other relentless Eritreans. I can’t wait to travel to Free Eritrea.
Eritrea does not have significant enemies outside of its borders. The significant enemy is within its confines, in its midst, lurking behind the walls of “GIBI” and in that infamous building at the hill overlooking the Nakfa Corporation.
It’s expected of patriotic Eritreans in North America that they show up in the New York demonstration in great numbers and once more expose the regime bleeding our country to near death for what it really is: a criminal grouping reigning by fear, intimidation, liquidation, and cruel suppression, in short, by terror. Every one knows, at least by now, that the grouping and its chieftain will never be impressed by and succumb to the voice of reason, but the long-term implications of peaceful demonstrations in boosting the morale of our downtrodden compatriots inside and outside the country cannot be underestimated.
Let’s make it short: let the spirit of Geneva be repeated in New York!!
Wishing YOU success and many greetings from Europe!
