Hi Meretse,
Yes, I mean it. The article was wasn’t there — only the gentleman’s photo! I waited for the article to come up and after my “legendary” patience (if you know what I mean …smile)I just clicked a reminder to assenna. This morning the article appeared. NOW, NOW, NOW it is GONE again with a note on a blank screen >>> ” Apologies. There is no preview available” <<<< whatever it means.
OH Well let us keep on smiling and enjoy Life. Have a nice day Meretse.
Greetings rezen,
I want to be honest with you I tried many times to read what is written below the gentleman’s portrait, but then like everybody else I failed. Then when I tried to give it a wild guess >> I found the number 40 (memhr Solomon s favorite number) = nothing changes; and then, of course, it was intended for a smile.

One does not need to know Ato Habtemariam Abraha to judge the contents of his message. It is a terrific synopsis of what is really going on in Eritrea and within the Eritrean opposition right now, showing that all of us who stand for social and political justice are equally distressed and for the same reason, and urging all to learn to forget our differences, work together and save the country from the danger hovering over its head. This is a truth and an insightful message for all who stand for all-inclusive Eritrea, irrespective of political affliation, ethnicity, religion, region, language or culture that could only exist if there is a country. Where do these parties want to rule if there is no country? I hope all of us will see what he sees and be sharper and more self-aware than yesterday, forgetting narrow party politics and putting Eritrea above everything. It is pleasing to see that there are other elders coming forward to continue the mission of our late Brother, Wedi Vacaro, who raised the banner of unifying the people. Thank you, Ato Habtemariam Abraha, for writing this great and loving message and for publishing it too. Now the ball is in our quarters. Is tomorrow going to be like yesterday?
There is only one way the suffering Eritrean people can win against the Isayas tyranny. Eritreans need to form a united front against dictatorship. The main agenda of the opposition should be the removal of the corrupt and oppressive Isayas regime. We’ve to suspend all minor and silly disagreements between us in order to focus on the main and emergency issue of saving our People and youth from disintegration. Above all, we’ve to uphold the promise that our martyres passed on us to form a democratic, and just society in our country.
1)All forces of change in the diaspora should convene an international conference that would discuss how to better organise the Eritrean People to stand up against tyranny.
Forces of change in the diaspora should coordinate with those inside the country and try to organise members of the Eritrean defense forces to help in eventual popular uprising.
2) We’ve to alienate the PFDJ regime by boycotting its diplomatic, political, social, and economic activities.
3) We’ve to work hard to expose all the human rights abuses of the regime, and bring them to the UN Human Rights Council.

I was thinking that this might be about nothing but the article just popped up. It sounds the character from Monsters Inc.

Thanks Abona Habtemariam,
I agree 100% with what he said. Without unity we will not be able to do anything.
I liked the many proverbs in his article.
