I think the current situation is the who we are as a people. I know is Essayas is evil, but we were cheering him when he was doing unlawful things. By hook or crook Essayas, will go. But the problem is we[ Eritreans] do not what we want. So let’s change ourselves first, then things will be okay.

This is a typical dictator’s miserable life. Always going on a hid, secret. In one way or another we are sure that the dictator will pay a huge price for all his barbaric acts on the innocent people.
We want him face justice, and be punished for all those evil acts, while he is alive
Tes April 22, 2013
Hope God will punish him this evil man. He deserve all suffering in earth and in hell. May God hear our prayer. We have enough suffering under this horrible tyrant.

Issayas is an human being who have his turn on the last day of life , so to get sick is part of life
leading to our final existence in this world . The point what worry us most is the position he left
the country with no legitimate structural government like PM. Meles left behind to his
country . We only know Issayas as the sole owner of Eritrean politics which is very dangerous .
Tes April 22, 2013
ahmed saleh,
You are quite right bout your concern bro but I also believe that no one can be worse than him.Whatever happen after him we can not be worse than the current situation. What is missed in present Eritrea is the very basic need to live as human being. The majority of our people are not interested who will lead or rule but need to move freely from village to village or to mind their own business in peace and to manage their life and family with what they see fit.No a drunken man at the top to tell them what is right for them. He can’t even manage himself.

Instead of wasting our time talking about the monster who is dying, we should start worrying about what will happen to Eritrea when he’s gone to hell. How are we going to handle the transition period ?, is there any way to fill the power vacuum, till an elected government is put in place ? (of course, a Higdefite taking charge (even temporarily) should be a remote possibility, because if that happens (God forbid), it may trigger an internal conflict that no one can handle). People want justice, for all those missing for more than two painful decades, buried alive in underground dungeons or killed and dumped in unmarked graves throughout the country. So, is there a way to bring the criminals to justice to avoid revenge killing and chaos ?
Consider Iseyas already dead (politically), a big question that everyone should answer is what should be done now and then ?. Are we the people ready to take our country back in our hands ?
or also this time around, we want hand it over to another tyrant ?. We should stop singing ‘wudibna, zemedna, wedi adna, wedi haymanotna, wedi kebilana’ ..etc. and look beyond all that.

To whom it may concern,
President Issaias Afewerki may soon die. If anyone has a concern who would lead the country after his demise, I am available to help out as an interim president of Eritrea.
This is my way of saying that I care about my country.

Are you an Eritrean (for at least seven generations), born and raised in Eritrea, know it’s languages, culture and not married to a foreigner ?? . This could be some of the questions anyone who hopes to take the highest office should be replying to. No more Issu type rootless at that level !!.

Who would replace the tyrant after he has died of illeness , accident? A sudden death is highly probably considering his age and illness.
Since there is no one ready to replace the dictator, the country would perhaps precipitate into chaos, and mayhem with war lords dividing the country into regions. We would definitely have the metahit war lord, the Akeleguzay war lord, the Seraye+ Hammasien war lord, the Afar War lord , and the Semenawi Keyih Bahri War Lord.
Somalia has been a failed state for over 20 years. Similarly, Eritrea would end up being a failed state.
