  • eritreanmilitary movement January 22, 2014

The eritrean military movement has a real evidence that the dictator isayas regime is preparing it self to arrest manjus along with his family.Isayas is consulting this case with a very secret way with yemane monkey. This is planned in order to avoid the human right case criminal case of human trafficking.
Along with manus 18 military officers are also identified to be arreted.

    • Genet January 22, 2014

So, what you are saying is the dictator is done using Manjus and he will kill him soon, if he has not sone it yet. OK.

If It is real where have been till now the Dictator

  • Tes January 22, 2014

FPLF was and is undemocratic organization from its inception. There is no point to be proud of what it has achieved. What we have seen was distraction and cleansing one against other.I am not denying the entire Eritrean population had been deceived by the leadership manipulation and given a lip service and promising to create democratic system in future Eritrea but it was all a mockery of democracy. Wedibawi gubae the general session of the organization that taken place in 1987 was just a joke and all after that was similar. If you guys are very serious and want to avenge for being cheated then unit with the new generation and fight for justice. Forget glamorizing the dark history of EPLF which was hallow to say the least. How history will judge EPLF lets leave it for tomorrow what you and others need to concentrate now is who can be engaged on changing the current state of the situation in Eritrea. Engage with the youngsters and forget EPLF, you have to understand at least EPLF has no place on contemporary Eritrea. It is history now.

We are incredibly proud that we have shown people in the world that we have Isaias Afewrqi and he comes in power another 45 years if needed..it is tricky with Shabai or with HGDF is to understand when Isaias has made his and take in when we can do best,is something we have learned from working with Isaias to break norms and provide power to let people of Eritrea have their say,it is that Isaias also be included in the process,we Eritrea are so incredibly happy today that we have been involved in building a Nation from “Gdli” page that Isaias started in tired year 45 year ago so that it then now do without him.One thing that we are incredibly proud is that Isaias has proven to Eritrea people that we know best, that all Eritreans who sits on the responsibility and power from”Adi”(local present)to”Nueas Zoba”(Board of trustees)to “Zoba”(Represnted)then we will arrange”Baayytoonna)(State council).

those who called themselves the oppostion which is a “Chihuahua”Japanese dog or Pappa Janhoy dog(Weyane dog)will not be in Eritrea as politics..may be they can get that reservation or we can let them come to study visitor.Dog tricks do not work in Eritrea!!

Do you consider the copy paste of shabaiet’s editorials as a good job. Semere Tesfay as any supporter of the mafia regime is also defending the regime foe a back ward personal reason.

we Eritreans have a problem. Why is difficult to acknowledge we fought the struggle as a people? it was us, our sons our daughters, our mothers, fathers, uncles…..who fought and destroyed the dergue regime. what do people mean when they say “fighters”? then we can try to examine our history. what went wrong? how? why? it makes me sick to see people finding “the fighters” fair game. they are the only group that is attacked in this way. but better remember our martyrs are also fighters. the leadership is another matter.

    • Genet January 22, 2014

      Salma
Don’t you think, the former fighters made themselves fair game? If they still believe EPLF’s leaders used to conducte business using rule of law and they were democratic, this is a confused mindset. This my sister/brother, make them fair game to be challenged. It is bad enough they weren’t smart enough, to put the maniac dictator where he belongs, six feet under like 30 years ago, they have the audacity to tell us EPLF had rule of law. They need to stop personalizing everythings about EPLF. EPLF fighters are our family members. But if they want us to respect them, then they need to stop the cult’s members mentality. EPLF 100% is not them. Clearly, most of them didn’t have a clue what was happening for the past 50 years to our people and country. No body is asking them to denounce EPLF. What we are asking is for them to acknowledge the terrible crimes committed by EPLF’s leaders and their supporters. They need to stop implying that Issias’s dictatorship mentality started after he was given the temporary leadership in 1993. The painful fact is Issias was their leader for 30 years before 1993. They failed miserably to stop this man from killing their own people. They had all the signs that this man was and is not mentally fit to be a leader. He is mentally ill. When he was killing all the educated ones, the one with school of life stood by and watched. They need to stop being bias. EPLF is not bigger than the Eritrean people. Salma, you said “it makes me sick to see people finding “the fighters”fair game”. Give me a break! They made themselves a fair game.
      Genet

      • salma a. January 23, 2014

        Genet,
you write, “It is bad enough they weren’t smart enough to put the maniac dictator where he belongs….” you have the advantage of seeing what was then and have an opinion about it now. you are implying you are much smarter than they were. but could you tell me what you could have done if you were there fighting an enemy which was firing at you? and your main goal was to get rid of that enemy? you seem to forget many fighters sacrificed their life trying to talk sense to iseyas. you are a judge who never heard the arguments made by both representative lawyers. so Genet, the fighters according to you were not smart enough to kill iseyas. they were brave enough though to sacrifice life, limb, youth and everything else to be part of the Eritrean struggle which destroyed the dergue regime. there is a lot we don’t know. talking louder than anyone else is not gonna change that fact. and certainly marginalizing any part of our society is not going to have the effect we desire. you lack empathy Genet. listen to your heart before you start throwing stones. you could at least give them the benefit of the doubt.

        • Genet January 23, 2014

          Dear Salma
Do you think Issais is a superman? FYI, One is smart when he/she is able to see right from wrong without being bias. If they are not like Issais, they are enablers. Can you tell us, what is the difference between Issais and Derue regime? I am not implying we should marginalize our former fighters, but certainly, I don’t whish for them to make decision for this generation or next generation. This has noting to do with empathy. Do you know how many former fighters are in diaspora, who with their children seat in front of ERiTV day in day out. Do you think they know it is all lies? Do you know how many of them still attend PFDJ’s celebration of independence day and our martyrs day? Do you think their action is smart? Do they really think EPLF followed rule of law? If any former fighter done nothing to harm any Eritrean back in the 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s, they don’t need to be bias. I never minimized their great contribution for our country. How could I, after all, they are my family members. Salma, you know that if we don’t challenge them, with their bias stand, we will repet what they did. We become enablers ourselves. I don’t see a single statement that show that they regret for enableing a dictator.
Please don’t judge me for asking.
          Genet

            Genet,
for one to attack a group of courageous individuals who are within the country and who are taking an initiative to end the suffering of the Eritrean population is inhumane, to say the least. as to what you say about some Ex-fighters in Diaspora who may be doing what you say they are doing? you may be right. but what does it mean? only that they are part of the Eritrean population. and you can not expect them to be any different than that population they are part of. but i don’t see how that justifies putting all fighters in the same box. iseyas is on a witch-hunting spree. he is out to destroy our pride in our liberation struggle because he knows our nationalism is at the core of that history. and he was the first one to attack the fighters because his survival depends on making them the scapegoat because he hates their guts, on making them appear to be part of the problem instead of the solution. his survival depends on ensuring their marginalization. so by attacking the fighters indiscriminately you are choosing to stand right behind iseyas on the witch-hunting (fighter-hunting)spree. iseyas tried and still tries to brain wash us into believing what he wanted us to believe. attacking fighters is one of his goals. to see people who claim to oppose iseyas repeating what he says proves that they hate him personally not based on principles. they are blinded by hate that it has become much more difficult for them to open their hearts to their silent knowledge (wisdom) than it was for the fighters to sacrifice the only life they ever had. and i remind you it is not for us to judge. also we got to talk before we start jumping to conclusions. and you say you don’t wish them to make decision for this generation? and i tell you this: this generation is nothing if it cannot see itself as the continuation of all last generations and the bridge to all coming generations. that is probably the reason we are waging war on face book rather than on the ground. you know what you are saying, Genet: you are saying that this generation does not respect wisdom which comes with old age and life experience. that it does not respect our elders the foundation of what we are as a people? that can not be true, Genet.

“PLEASE DON’T JUDGE ME FOR ASKING”

Wow! Ahhh……. what a beautiful plea
            To Genet,
The above quotation is yours. It excited me so much so that I stopped browsing the Internet. Why? The meaning of your plea has been my favourite pet subject with family and friends for a long time. To me, “asking” and being inquisitive are the ultimate reflection of liberty — the gift of nature. Societies who become obstacle to these inherent traits will pay the ultimate price of being “underdeveloped” for centuries and go down the ‘drain’ without meaningful history. The Internet Junk-yard is a testimony of the consequential effect of suffocating and abnormally strict societies that, so much so, no exposure to any other free society can modify them. I can go on, and on, and on but I am sure you get the drift of my ‘wind’. Please don’t ever stop asking, questioning, doubting whatever you see, hear, touch and feel! Less than that, nobody should really claim to be ALIVE – only to be EXISTING in dormant and pretentious life.
            Have a Pleasant Week-end.

Just 15 years 8 monthes and 12 days ago it was only a matter of time before Eritrea would fall within two weeks-when we win on the battlefield the world likely to be difficult to obtain som concession then there is another option for the cooperation with Eritrea. You can see this right now. Weyane Tigria has lost his poltical power and is more comlex than any others in modern times-to begin with is now the epicenter of the power struggle within them Tenbien and Agame against Aduwa,Arene Tigria against half Eritreans and Amhara,Afar,Ogaden and Oromo hate Tigria so in some cases Tigria possibly going to be in the war zone soon..but Eritrea?Eritrea nelongs without any doubt to the best countries,Eritrea developed into,if not paradise,so a really desent place without a doubt,we dare to stand that an important reason for this that we have a courageous leadre like isaias and others…clearly it is that we Eritreans are more civilized than them.See so cleavr we are!do yo understand noe that we are the best people with the best Goverment(EFDJ)–be proud Eritreans..!

There is nothing new in this statement. It has been said by all ex-eplf members throughout the world – in fact the statement or the article is much much worse than those statements written before you. You just threw the words without any coherent ideas. We all know eplf members were the first victims of our evil government. And we all know this regime must be changed by all means including ex-eplf members. We, as youth, believe ex-eplf members would play a pivotal role in our struggle for change. So please unite your efforts and equip yourself in a better way than the so called opposition living in Addis.
