We have people who challenged injustices which inspired many
of us to be what we know we should be .
I read articles to pay tribute to his legacy of commitment on Eritrean cause . And it was nice if somebody tell his stories to
bring joy for those in need , share his experience which can
inspire others along the way .
May God rest his soul in peace .

It is a matter of public record that the Ghedly/revolution had fighters who said (and believed) that they would never live to see an Independent Eritrea, but perhaps the next generation or the generation after that would. At least T/mariam W/mariam Kiflu saw an independent Eritrea even though under PFDJ’s oppression and imprisonment. RIP brother.

      Amine
You are definitely right he get the chance to witness Eritrean
independence at the hand of untrustworthy leadership who
betrayed the principle our patriots TEGADELTI sacrificed for .
I do not know if he had a chance to visit his country which he
dedicated his young age life like many of those who died abroad.

      Dear Amine,

You may be lucky to think this way. And it’s good to have expressed your opinion about PFDJ. however, Eritrean fighters who gave their precious lives until 1991 passed away having an independent Eritrea to come in their mind and spirit the way we all dreamt of. To those of us who witnessed this ‘independent’ Eritrea, apart from that we lived more years, and some of them/ us might on personal basis have done something very important in life, is unbelievably painful – exeptionally painful esp when one feels powerless to contribute to make any changes! If you are young, you might not remember anything what we were chanting: “ቤት ማእሰርታት ናብ ሆስፒታላት፣ መደበራት ጦር ሰራዊት ናብ ዩኒቨርሲታት ክንቅይሮ ኢና”, as we stood to give our lives happily.

Let’s still hope things will change for the better soon; and cheers!!!
