ስሙ እናወደስኩም መላኺ ሓንቂቑ!
ውጹዕ ኣቤት ኪብል ስኢኑ ሰማዒ
ድምጹ ከይተቃልሕ ብሙዃን *ደጓዒ *መእወዪ፡ ኣልቃሲ
ባይቶኡ ፈሪሱ ናይ ወለዱ ወግዒ
ክንዲ ዓገብ ትብል ገደብ ኣልቦ ግፍዒ
ጠበቓዶ ኴንካ ናይ መላኺ ጸግዒ
ሽግር ናይዚ ህዝቢ ወሲኽካሉ ድርዒ!
ኣብቲ ሰማንያታት ኣብ ቃልሲ ከለና
ረሲዕካዮ ዲኻ ከምዚ ኪትብለና!?

Berket Mengesteab as a person fit to HGDF’s requirements for selected individuals who can serve the needs
of their agenda . Since he was in ELF singer his reputation had never showed revolutionary discipline . We
used to hear his adultery relationship with some peasants in highland. I think he sing what others writers or
composers use him to deliver to their message for certain reasons as papagalo without his understanding of it’s contents and it’s meaning . In my own point of view as a man he is a coward from the beginning .

Bereket Mengisteab is an Opportunist, in 1977 I remember his singing “wahyo niyo bella Wahyo Hishkshuk’u Amela” in Mendefera when it was liberated by ELF.If he thinks back to that time what a shame is to Bereket to be a symphathizer of the Dictatorial regime now.Shame on you Bereket,stand with the oppressed people serve the truth, leave good history and die,because you can not stay more than five years now.

I met so many Eritrean artist and not even one person supports HIGDEF and also they are very disapointed by the way we fight agains HIGDEF especialy our unity, weather we like it or not you can’t sing agains HIGDEF while you are in the country, I also do not expect Bereket, Alamin etc well over 70-80 years of age to leave the country but I asure you they are doing what they can from inside, most importantly this fight is our fight the young generation not our parents, so lets ask first what we are doing for the country and against HIGDEF, our weakness is causing us to lose artist, JEGANU TEGADELTI, WARSAY etc
