Iseyas is in killing business for the last 45 years. There is an interesting story I heard long ago from an old ‘tegadali’.
He said, just paraphrasing: “In late sixties, a group of ‘tegadelti’ who happened to be from Saho tribes, were going back to their villages in Akeleguzai for annual leave, when they came face to face with a group of ‘tegadelti’ and Iseyas. Both groups took positions for a while till they came to each other. Then Iseyas posed a question to them, “do you think it’s good if we kill each other ?, don’t you think that would make the Tigre happy ?”. He knew well that many young Saho were experiencing difficulty to adjust to the harsh weather of the Lowlands, did not understand the language, at times were unhappy about being posted to areas where they felt were mistreated. He knew well that some even hated Lowlanders. After a moment of silence that seemed took long time, they replied to Iseyas questions by saying he was right ‘they should make the Tigre happy…. ‘.
Then they greeted them and proceeded on their way, but not for long .. they were shot on their back and several died”.
All those who trusted Iseyas and served him or protected him, in the end were killed by him.
He is neither stupid nor mad, but godless. The sources of his power are our collective weaknesses.
The moment we free our selves from unnecessary stereotyping about each other, and start thinking as
a people who takes care of every individual citizen, his most powerful tools will be of no use.
Dictators are made by people and a subculture that many believe in.

I am not a good friend of woyane, shabia, olf or for that matter all the LFs for the sake of sitting in Power. Anyways as to backstabbing culture of hgdf/eplf:

eplf and tplf advised OLF to join the New Ethiopian force in the 1990s if only it dissarmed its force and reorganized With the rest of so called eprdf force. Olf dissarmed most of its militants the smart ones were too late to react and wiped out from the face of Earth. Eplf and elf started to lead both eri and ethiopia till 1998.
Eplf did not like tplfs strategy so backstabbed tplf by bombing mekele children shcool in thinking all the non tigre People scanvenging tigre People. But at that particular time ehtiopians were more pissed of by shabia than woyane. (Since then shabia has no mercy from ehtiopians).
Eplf were a good friend for many sudanees rebels but every time isaias wants to Dance With Bashir hundred and thousand sudanees must be sacrificed.
