@ubel before you assume blood bank has a generator why dont you verify the actual truth in asmera, yes blood bank has generators for disaster which could last for few days, since the last power outage was for almost a week and half the generators were also out that is why so there has been a real crises in the Hospitals in Asmera last week. call and ask any one who happen to visit the hospital and has family that actually had died because of this particular incident. To just deny anything that is written is not wise with out verifying. I am not a fan of assenna but when there is an actual truth i have to accept it.

AS A MATTER OF FACT POWER SHORTAGE IN ASMARA IN NOT A BREAKING NEWS SO HOW COULD THE BANK MAINTAINED ITS STORE WITHOUT GENERATOR IN THE PAST?CONSIDERING THE VERY SHORT TIME LIMT BLOOD CAN BE PRESERVED WITHOUT COOLER?
I MIGHT BE CONVINCED IF YOU TELL ME SOME ONE HAS FORGOTTEN TO FILL THE GENERATOR WITH DIESEL.
BUT GENERATOR IS MUST COS THEY KNOW HOW IMPORTANT IT IS JUST FOR THEIR OWN SAKE.
