ስድራ’ዚ ሓርበኛ! ስድራ ወዲ ዓሊ ጅግና ሰባር ራዕዲ ብሰንኪ ድያብሎስ ወጺእኩም ካብ ዓዲ እዚ ርጉም ጉጅለ ሓራዲ ጎማዲ ኣብ ቈልዓ ሰበይቲ ሕነ ንኽፈዲ ንስደት ቀሲቡኩም ናይ ጥፍኣት መገዲ! ወይልኡ ንሱ’ምበር ገሃነም ዝሰፈሩ ንስኻትኩም ደኣ ዘልኣለም ክትከብሩ እቲ ጅግና ሓርበኛ ተኣምር ፈጢሩ ተወፊዩልና እንድዩ ፍናን

ክሕብሕበኩም’ዩ ኣብ ልቡ ኣስፊሩ
እኖሆ እኳ ገንዘብ ከዋጽእ ጀሚሩ!
ሓፋሽ ኤርትራዊ በቲ ሰናይ ባህሉ
*ሙዝያሁ ተሻሞ ብቕጽበት ደዊሉ *ቃጭል
ስድራኡ ክሕግዝ ዳግም ተላዒሉ
ግብኡ ክፍጽም ኢደይ ኢድካ ኢሉ
እኖሆ እኳ ድሮ ገንዘብ ኣዋህሊሉ
እዚ እንድዩ ኣታ ባህልና እቲ ንሕበነሉ!
ስለዚ ቅሰኑ ስድራ ገንሸል ህዝቢ
ኩሉ ደላይ ፍትሒ ንኡስ ይኹን ዓቢ
ከምቲ ዝተለምደ ስድራኡ ክናቢ
ድባብ ክኾነልኩም መጽለሊ መዕቖቢ
እኖሆ ኣብ ልዕሌኹም ከም ደበና ይዝምቢ!
ስድራ’ዚ ሓርበኛ ሓበን ናይ ህዝብኹም
ርሑስ ሓድሽ ዓመት *ሃንአ ክብለኩም *ዮሃና
ካብ ኣፍ እዚ ሓርገጽ ብሰላም ምውጻእኩም
ስድራ’ዚ ጅግና’ወ እንቋዕ ኣሐጐሰኩም
ኩሉ ደላይ ፍትሒ ኣሎ ኣብ ጎድንኹም
ደጊም ሽግር የለን ኣይትፍርሁ ኣጆኹም
ካብ መቚሕ መላኺ ናጻ ኴንኩም ኢኹም!
እዛ ሓዳስ ዓመት ኣብቲ ምጅማራ
ንደላይቲ ፍትሒ ዓወት ምብሳራ
ዓዲ ሰብ ክትኮኒ ሃገርና ኤርትራ
ይረኣየኒ ኣሎ ናይ ሓርነት ጩራ
ኣብ ጥርዙ በጺሑ ትወጹሉ ሓራ!
ሓራ ከም ትወጺ’ወ ካብ ምልክነት ዓደይ
እኖሆ የማዕድዎ ይርኦ ብዓይነይ
እኖኹ ይሰምዖ ራህዋኺ ብእዝነይ
ጽባሕ ክድህስሶ ዘርጊሐ ኣእዳወይ
ብስራት ሓርነት ወሪሩዎ ልበይ
ሓንሳብ ንሓዋሩ ክቐስን’ዩ ህዝበይ!
ኣርማ ሰላም ረሓት ረጋቢት ክነፍራ
ፍትሕን ደሞክራስን ኣዕዋፍ ክዝምራ
ውግእ ወረ ውግእ ናይ ምልኪ ምሕደራ
ደሓን ኩን ክትብሎ ንሽግር መከራ
ይደጉሖ’ሎ ዓይነይ ብኹሉ *ማእዘራ *ብዙርያኡ ጸንጸባርቕ ጩራ
ፍትሒ ክነግሳ’ዩ ሃገርና ኤርትራ!
ራህዋ ክዓስሎ’ዩ መሬታ ምስ ባሕራ!

Eritreans like to hear truth, is this true? Well, Eritrean politics is full of paradoxes.
Thanks to the Ethiopians the wedi Ali Hijay family and many Eritreans are in safe place.
We used to insult the Ethiopians as “feudal and backward” but they are still morally, culturally and traditionally more advanced and tolerant people than Eritreans. Ethiopians are very proud people in their own 3000 years old history, languages, religions and customs.
After all the bloodshed and the lies the Eritrean revolution “Sewra” told to brain wash young Eritreans against the so called feudal and imperial Ethiopia, Zionist Israel and Imperialist America, guess what?
Eritreans are risking their lives to get refuge, live and work to the so called feudal Ethiopia, Zionist Israel and the U S A.
Only the people who respect their own history, languages and heritage deserve long lasting respect.
Thank you Ethiopia, Israel and USA.

Allow me to disagree on one point. I would rather say they are more advanced and tolerant than HGDEF and their cohorts; not Eritreans in general. Basically our culture is welcoming and respectful to “outsiders”. May be of late it was corrupted by Psychopaths like Isayas. I am sure we shall regain our noble culture as soon as the spoilers leave power.

There is absolutely NOTHING to disagree with your well stated comment but if you allow me to add about the myth,lies and distortion the unpopular “gedlli kuslli” depends itself upon,it will be the omission and distortion of patriotism that our great grandparents fought against the Egyptian and Italian invaders in places like Gundet,Ko’atit and Degoali respectively along side their Tigray brothers.That great patriotism of our great grandparents was deliberately omitted from our history to justify the “gedlli kuslli”Regardless of the Italian invaders and Shaebia shifta injected the poison of hate in our society towards our own brothers in the south,we are still brothers.

An Air Force pilot Eritrean Habtom Kahsay, has escaped with his bomber in Djibouti and plans who seek political asylum in another country. According to information gathered by Africa Express,
2013 was a year of leaks of military pilots from the former Italian colony, ruled by a harsh dictatorship are at least 10 officers who have fled, many of them in Saudi Arabia. In early December, also the national football team of Eritrea, which was engaged in an international tournament in Nairobi, has asked for political asylum and has not returned home.
