I have known very closely: Woizero Mebrat Hagos,her beloved husband Ato Issak Yacob and many of their family members for more than thirty years.Mebrat was an upright person with integrity and warmest of hearts,great dedication to her country,the cause for its independence and a woman of solid faith.Her weeklong memorial in North London brought together hundreds of friends,relatives from close and afar in a way which Mebrat would have cherished so much.It was wonderful to see so many Eritreans from different ethnico-religious backgrounds bonded by her love and many of them turning their tears to prayers.
May God bless her soul and keep her in His arms and may her family specially Issak have the couredge to cope with such a big loss counting on our support and prayers.
