The above claim raises an important question:
How many renters (land lords) and tenants are we talking about? Did the office resolve issues (disagreements) between few renters and tenants? Did the office invite all renters (land lords) and tenants in Asmara not to mention Eritrea?
If the later is true, the office can’t accommodate all renters and all tenants in president’s office at one time. (let say 2,000 renters, and 8,000 tenants –this is a conservative estimate). Even if it summons few of them at a time, it’s near impossible to manage the issue of renters against land lords and vise versa. It requires a lot of time and manpower. In short, the claim made in the article is hard to believe.

Brother, what you are saying is totally wrong. Many Eritreans worshiped Iseyas like God, although they knew he was of Tigreyan decent. His origin has never been a problem, as many Eritreans share language, culture and ethnicity with the people of Tigray. Iseyas has always doubted his identity, he showed Eritreans that he is not one of them, he opted to be their enemy. Then who is to blame ?. Identity crisis is difficult to cure.
