Both countries will benefit a great deal if they normalize their relationship and peace is achieved in the region. Ethio-Eritrea issue is a little deeper that two individuals falling….it is a generational issue that needs generational solution in a sense that it is about people who were once one but psychologically divided since colonial experience by Eritreans. Hence it is unlikely that such kind of problem would have a technical solution such as border demarcation. People on both sides have to forget about what happened in the past and just look to the future and work hand in hand to improve their people’s lives.

Godofa, is your massage a hate massage or a peace massage? Ethiopians did bad things to our people as well as to their own people but no body match the barbaric killings of eritreans by the lunatic gedli (both elf and eplf) and now by the dictator. Mengistu was one of them but he destroyed, killed, the entire ethiopian society. You forget to mention Keyih shiber(red terror), you als forget to mention the tegaru who deid figting on ourside in the rocks, mountains, rivers in eritrea ultimately helping, the number of tigray people who died in in battlefield in eritrea helping us exceeds the number of Eritreans who died. How about amhara group who were active opposition in ethiopian cities hunted and murdered by mengistu. How about the amhara and others who protested at the expulsion of eritreans and stopped buses from living addis abeba chanting they are our brothers. So the era of infecting eritreans with irreversible lethal infection of hate has long gone, eritreans are detoxed now and awake. or do you want us to dig trench and draw a line on the sand to declare war against an invisible enemy and apparently the only visible enemy are those young people who are fleeing and welcomed by Ethiopians across the river. Oh yes you are eritrean so you can only remeber the bad things happen a century ago but you forgot what is happening now. Ethiopians are permitting and sheltering Eritreans who are in a miserable life in arab countries sinai, egypt, libya saudi arabia, lebanon, sudan . tell us please since we declare ethiopia as an enemy and since the border war is still active ethiopia could have done the same thing what Djibouti is doing that is every eritrean is an enemy hence they should imprison for life . please leave history to historians do not use it as a machine gun to fire up people. you know why a simple eritrean problem grew into gedli chaotic complex mass destruction because of you people trying to capitalize the situation and create a fireball. while the tegaru are trying to locnch a satlitte and ultimately landing the first black african on the moon you are asking us just like the dictator to dig trenches preparing for imaginary war. and who is trenches for ? it is for the young girls and boys shepherds who were killed and eaten by hyena. So no body matchs eritrean barbarism against their own people.

You seem to have the number of Tigreyans who died fighting in Eritrea, can you please post it here ?, unless of course, you are telling people cooked-up stories to pass across your Ethiopianist message.

If every country that has grievance with its neighbors puts their youth in fox holes and deprives them education, their future and their livelihood then this world would have had a different look than it is now. Past history and past injury should never prevent a healthy society from building a healthy and a new constructive/positive relationship with all its neighbors regardless of the negative past. We should look and take the example of Japan & USA or Pakistan & India which they buried their dark past for the sake of peace and the future of their young generation and people.

You dont make eritrea successful by blackmailing woyane.

Whether you like the facts or not eritrea has been the way it is because it doesnt only share border. It is more than that. Some try to blem only isaia but that is also wrong. If the problem is only him 94 million from south and 6 million from north and then boom issu was a history.

So my conclusion is that what eritrea doing is a process it has to go through as an independent nation. What we had witnessed between 1991-1998 was just the innocence of both peoples.

It has fought against all the bordering countries. It could have done better but the mentality we won three super power was there.

If weyane enter our country c/o TPDM (demhit),it will be the same, they will start massacaring ERitreans as they are doing now in Ethiopia.

ሐያል መን እዩ ድኹም ከ ?( who is strong and who is week?)

In my opinion a strong is the one who has a confidence in him/her self, farsighted and most importantly one who entertains forgiveness…..whereas a weak person doesn’t know what it mean by pardon, instead he/she waits life long for revenge.
And you the reader, in which side do you belong? you can check it in your small friends circle .
The writer dug deep to find this 40 or 50 years old sad accident of our war-prisoners and is warning as not to forget it.
I don’t know why the writer choose this particular incident,as the 50 plus years, after the starting of this idiotic Ghedli, we do not have any good news but bad ,worse and worst. What about the Kunama killings and burnings ,the recent Lampedusa debacle,,the humiliation of our brothers and sisters under the stinky Bedewin-Rashaida Arabs?was it less terrible?
