ሃይማኖታዊ፡ ኣውራጃዊን ብሄራዊን ጸቢብነት ስለምንታይ እናደንፈዓ መጺኡ? ንመን ከ’ዩ ከርብሕ? ንሓዋሩ ኸ ናበይ’ዩ ከብጻሓና?
እዚ ኣርእስቲ 'ዚ፡ ኣብ መብዛሕቱ ሕብረተሰባት፡ ብፍላይ ድማ ኣብ ሃገርና ኤርትራ፡ ዓብን፡ ተነቃፍን ከምዚኾነ፡ ብደንቢ ዘይግንዘብ ኣንባቢ ክህሉ ኣይኽእልን። ከምኡ ክንሱ ግን፡ ምስ ርዝነቱን ዕብየቱን ዝሳነ፡ ነብሱ ዝኸኣለ፡ ብዙሕን ዓሚቅን ናይ ትግርኛ ወይ'ውን ናይ እንግሊዝ
እዚ ኣርእስቲ ‘ዚ፡ ኣብ መብዛሕቱ ሕብረተሰባት፡ ብፍላይ ድማ ኣብ ሃገርና ኤርትራ፡ ዓብን፡ ተነቃፍን ከምዚኾነ፡ ብደንቢ ዘይግንዘብ ኣንባቢ ክህሉ ኣይኽእልን። ከምኡ ክንሱ ግን፡ ምስ ርዝነቱን ዕብየቱን ዝሳነ፡ ነብሱ ዝኸኣለ፡ ብዙሕን ዓሚቅን ናይ ትግርኛ ወይ’ውን ናይ እንግሊዝ ጽሑፋት ቀሪቡሉ’ዩ ክብሃል ኣይካኣልን፡፡ (ብዓረብ ወይ’ውን ብኻልእ ቋንቋታትና ተጻሒፉሉ ክኸውን ይኽእል’ዩ፡፡ እንተሎ ድማኒ እቲ ዓረብ፡ ወይ’ውን ካልእ ቋንቃታት ከንብብ ዘይክእል፡ መታን ከንብቦ፡ ነቶም ቅድሚ ሕጂ ዝተፈላለየ ጽሑፋት ብምቱርጋም ዓቢ ኣበርክቶ ዝገበሩ የሕዋትን ኣሓትን፡ ክትርጉሙልና ንምሕጸን።)
ናብ ክፉት ክትዕ ንምቅራቡ ብዝብል ኣምር እምባኣር፡ በዛ ዘላትኒ ኣቅሚ፡ ንእሽቶ እንተሓንጠጥኩሞ፡ ገለ እንተተዛረብናሉሞ፡ እቶም ኣፍልጦን ዓቅምን ዘለዎም ብወገኖም ድማኒ፡ ብዛዕብኡ ብደንቢ እንተጸሓፉስ፡ ንርድኢት ኩሉና ምጠቀመ፡ ብዝብል ሕልና፡ እንሆ ብርዐይ የፍስስ ኣለኹ። ካብኡ ሓሊፉ’ውን፡ ኣብ ክንዲ ከም ዘይትንከፍን፡ ነውሪን ኣርእስቲ ዝውሰድ’ሞ፡ ከም ሕማም መንሽሮ ውሽጢ ውሽጢና ዝብሕጉገናሲ፡ ኣብ ባይታ ኩልና ቀሪቡ፡ ምተኻታዕናሉ፤ ምተላዘብልናሉ፤ ምተማኸርናሉ፤ ኢሂን ምሂን ምተባሃሃልናሉን። ብኣግኡ ድማኒ ነቲ ሽግር ኣለሊና፡ ፈውሲ ከነናድየሉ ምተበገስና።
እዚ ኣርእስቲ ኣዝዩ ተኣፍፊ ብሙኻኑ፡ ብዘይፍላጥ፡ ንገለ የሕዋት ዘቆጥዕን ዘቀይምን ነገር ከይሕውስ እናፈራህኩ’የሞ፡ ቅድሚ ዝኣገረ፡ እቲ እንኮ እላማ ናይ ጽሑፈይ፡ ነቲ ቅዉም~ነገር ናብ ቅርዓት ብምውጻእ፡ ኩልና ዝምልከተና ወገናት ክንዛረበሉን፡ ኣብ መጨረሻ ድማኒ ነገራት ኣስፊሕናን፡ ከካብ ናይ ነፍሲ ወከፍና ዓንኬላት ክንርእዮም ክንክእል መታን ጥራይ ምዃኑ ብምሕጽንታ ደጊመ ይገልጽ፡፡ ብድሕሪ’ዚ ዝኸይድስ፡ ዝኮነ ይኹን ማሕበራዊ፡ ፖልቲካዊ፡ ቁጠባዊ ይኹን ካልእ ምኽንያትን ጥቅምን ከምዘይብለይ ክሕብር ይፈቱ።

‘ካብቲ ሕማቅ ዝገብሩኻስ፡ ሕማቅ ዝሙህርኻ፡’ ይብሉ ለባማት ኣቦታት። ስርኣት ህግደፍ፡ ኣብ ልእሊ ኤርትራውያን ዝፈጸሞ ይቅረ~ዘይብሃል በደል፡ ብዝኾነ ይኹን መለክዒ፡ መዳርግቲ ኣልቦ’ዩ። ክንዲ ዘኾለሰ የእዳው ዝተነኽሰ፤ ክንዲ ዝሓብሓበ ዝተረግሐ፤ ማዕረ እቲ ዝተበጀዎ፡ ኣብ ክንዲ ሞሳን ምስጋናን፡ ኩርንዒት ዝቀሰመ ህዝቢ እንተሎ፡ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ’ዩ። ኣብ ልዕሊ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ዝወረደ ኣደራዕ፡ ዝኾመርካ ቃላት እንተኾመርካ፡ ገሊጽካ ክውዳእ ኣይካኣልን።
እዚ’ውን ወሪዱናስ ኣብኡ ተተብቅዕ፡ ኣይምተጸልኣን። እቲ ብኽንደይ መስዋእትን ጻዕርን፡ ድሕሪ ከርተት ክንደይ መዋእልን፡ ዳርጋ ተረኺቡ ዝነበረ ስኒትን ምክብባርን ህዝብታት ኤርትራ፡ ከም ቡርቱዕ ጋሻ ውሕጅ ዝኣተዎ ዱኻ መሬት፡ ተቶባሕጕጉ፡ ናብ ዘይውርዙይን ባህ ዘየብል ጎደና ኣንፈቱ ከቅንዕ ንርእዮ’ለና። መዓናጡኻ’ዩ ድማ ዝኹምትር። ድቃስ ከኣ ከሊኡ’ሎ፡ ንኽንደይ ለባማት ዝጉህዩ። እዚ ሕማም’ዚ፡ ልዕሊ ዝኾነ እዋን፡ ምስ ምምጻእ ስርኣት ህግደፍ፡ ዓዅኩን ኣጉላዕሊዑን ኣሎ። እቲ ዘሕዝንን ዘስግእን ግን ልዕሊ እቲ ኣብ ልዕሌና ዝተፈጸመ በደል፡ እቲ ንመጻኢን ንወለዶታትን ክሓቅየናን ክሕምሰናን ዝኽእል፡ እሾኽ ምቅርሓንን ጽልእን ሓድሕድ ዘሪኡልና ዝከዶ ዘሎ’ዩ፤ እዚ’ውን ኣብ ዝሓጸረ እዋን እንተኸይዱልና ማለት’ዩ።
ውልቀ~መለኽቲ፡ ብድሕሪኦም ነስኒሶሞ ካብ ዝኾዱ እሾኽ ክፋእ፡ ውሑድ ካብቲ ብዙሕ፡ ጽልኢ፡ ቅርሕንቲ፡ ቅንእን፡ ምትፍናን ኣብ ሞንጎ ዓሌታት፡ ብሄራት፡ ኣውራጃታት ወይ’ውን ሃይማኖታት ይርከብዎም። ኣብ ዝተፈላለየ ኩርንዓት ዓለምና፡ በብግዜኡ ዝተቀልቀሉ ውልቀ~መለኽቲ፡ ብድሕሪኦም ሳዕሪ እንተዘይቦቀለ’ውን ሰለዘይግድሶም፡ እቲ ዝጨኮንዎን ዝገዝእዎን ሃገርን ህዝብን፡ ብድሕሪኦም ተሓማሚሱን፡ ዕግርግር ኣትይዎ ተበታቲኑን ዝተረፈ ውሑድ ኣይኮነን፡፡ ታሪኽ ዝደብተሮም ናይ ከምዚኦም ኣብነታት መሊኦም’ዩም።
ውልቀ~መለኽቲ በትረ~ስልጣኖም ጥራይ’ዩ ዘገድሶም፡፡ ስለዚ ድማ፡ ብሂወት ክሳብ ዘለው፡ ኣብ ኮረሻ ስልጣኖም ኮፍ ንምባል ዘይኣለምዎ ዘይፍሕስዎን የለን። ህዝቢ ብዛዕባ መሰልን ሓርነትን ከይሓስብን ከይጥይቅን፡ ኣብ ነንሕድሕዱ ከይተኣማመነ፡ ከይተፋቀረን፡ ከይተሳነየን ተተፋኒኑ ክከይድ’ዮም ዝደልይዎ፡፡ ንኸምዚ ዝኣመሰለ እኩይ ዕላማታቶም ንምዕዋት ድማኒ፡ ዝተፈላለየ ቶንኮላት ብምእላም፡ ነቲ ህዝቢ፡ ኣቃልብኡ ብምጥምዛዝ፡ ኣብ ጓል~መንገድን፡ ደቀቅቲ ነገራትን ኣቶኪሩ ዕንክሊል ከብልን፡ እቲ ግዜ ኣብ ነንሕድሕዱ እናተቶኻቶኸን እናተፋለሰን ከሕልፎ መታን ዘይፍሕትርዎ ባይታ የለን። ነዚ ንምትግባር ድማኒ ለይቲን ቀትርን ነዚ ንምዕዋት ዘኽእሎም ውዲታት ምእላም’ዩ። በዝን ወዲ ከምዚን ሜላታት ድማኒ ብዙሓት ውልቀ መልኽቲ፡ ንምሕሳቡ ብዘጸግም፡ ንዓሰርተታት ዓመታት ኣብ ስልጣን ተኾይጦም፡ ህዝቦም ዶቂሶምን ደሲቆምን። ትካላዊ ኣሰራርሓ ምብራስን፡ ከምዘይህሉ ምግባርን፡ ፈትሊ ሓድነት፡ ፈትሊ ስምረትን ፍቅርን ናይቲ ህዝቢ፡ ብዝተፈላለየ ኣገባባት ከምዝመናናህ ብምግባር፡ ብዙሓት መለኽቲ ዘድልዮም ጌሮም’ዮም።
እዚ ብዘፈቀደ ዝግበር ነገር ኣይኮነን። እኳ ደኣ፡ መለኽቲ ደይ መደይ ኢሎም፡ ወይ’ውን ኮነ ኢሎም ሓሲቦም፡ መደባት ኣውጺኦም፡ ዘተግብርዎ ዓብይ ስትራተጂ ምዃኑስ ኩልና ኣይንስሕቶን። ክፋላት ሕብረተሰባት፡ ምስ ዝተፋነኑ፡ ሓሳባቶም ሓይሎምን ንዋቶምን ኣስሚሮም፡ ኣብ ክንዲ ኣንጻር እቲ ጮቃኒ ስርዓት ብሓባር ዝትንስኡን፡ ንመሰሎም ምቅላስ ከም ቀንዲ ዕማም ገይሮም ዝወስድዎን፡ ነንሕድሕዶም ክተዃተኹ፡ ኣደዳ መጻወቲ መለኽቲ ስርዓታት ይኾኑ።
ስምብራት ናይ ከምዚ ዝኣመሰለ ሜላ፡ እቶም መልኽቲ ተሓግሒጎም ክንዮ ሓጹር ምስ ተደርበዩ’ውን፡ ብድሕሪኦም’ውን ይተርፍን፡ ነቲ ሕብረተሰብ ድማኒ ሕማም ሕዱር ይኾኖን። ከምቲ ኣብ ብዙሓት ሃገራት ኣፍሪቃ ዝተረእየ፡ እዚ ነገር’ዚ፡ ዕግርግርን ዘይርግኣትን ብምፍጣር፡ምፍሳስ ደምን፡ ዘይዝሕል ጽልእን’ዩ ዘዑኩኽ። ከምእኒ ሶማልያ፡ ናይጀርያ፡ ኣይቮሪኮስት፡ ግብጺ፡ ሱዳን፡ ከንያ፡ ማእከላይ ኣፍሪቃ፡ ኮንጎን ካልኦትን ከም ኣብነት በዚ ሽግር’ዚ ዝሕመሳ ዘለዋ ሃገራት ክንወስደን ንኽእል። ብዓቢኡ’ውን ታሪኽ ሁቱን ቱቱሲን ካብ ኣእሙሮና ዘይሃሰሰ ጸሊም ታሪኽ ኣሎ። ኣብ ኤርትራን ኢትዮጵያን ሩሑቅ ከይከድና’ውን፡ ዋላ እኳ ኣዝዩ ጉኑን ተዘይኮነ፡ እቲ ምትፍናንስ ኣሎ ደኣ። ኣብ ሃገርና ድማኒ ብፍላይ፡ እቲ ኣንፈቱ’ውን እንዳ ከፍኣ ይኸይድ ከምዘሎንሲ ንኹላታን ከም ጸሓይ በጣዕጣዕ ኢሉ ዝረኣየና ዘሎ ብሩህ ነገር’ዩ።
ህዝቢ ኣብ ከምዚ ዝኣመስለ ታኼላ ከይቆማጣዕን ከይሽመምን፡ ተራ ምሁራት፡ መራሕቲ ሃይማኖታት፡ ኪነ~ጠበባውያን፡ ዓበይቲ ዓድን ካልኦት ተሰማዕቲ ባእታት ሓንቲ ሃገር ኣገዳሲ’ዩ። ስለ ከምዚ ዝተሰየፉን፡ ኣደዳ ማእሰርትን መግረፍትን ዝኾኑን ለባማት ብዙሓትዮም። ኣፍሪቃ፡ ማዕረ~ማዕረ ቁጽሪ እቶም ዓመጽትን ጎሓላሉን፡ ንስለ ፍትሒ፡ ሓቂ፡ ሰላምን ስምረትን ደው ዝበሉ ወራዙት በብእዋኑ ኣፍርያ’ያ። እዛ ንእሽቶን ዘይዕድልትን ሃገርና’ውን፡ ከምዚኦም ዝኣመሰሉ ብዙሓት ለባማት ኣብ ምፍራይስ፡ ብወገና ተሓጕማ’ያ እንተበልናስ ምግናን ኣይከውንን። ኣብዚ እዋን ግን እንድዒ።
በንጻሩ ግን ብዙሓት፡ ኣብነት ኮይኖም፡ ነዚ ህዝቢ፡ ክከባበርን ፍልልያቱ ክጻዋወርን፡ ክምዕዱን፡ ክምህሩን ብዙሕ ትጽቢት እንገብረሎም፡ ገለገለ ወራዙትን፡ ፈላጣትን ምሁራት እንሓሳብ መንገዲ ጸጋም ክሕዙ ንርኢ’ና። ገለገሊኦም ኣብቲ እዚ ኣብ ሃገርና ዘሎ መላኺ ስርዓት ዘጻዎዶ ታኼላ ምፍላስ ህዝብታት ተሽኺሎምን፡ ኣብቲ ከፋፊልካ ግዛእ ዝብል ኣምር ጨኮንቲ ርዒሞምን፡ ካልእ ግዜ ድማኒ ስስዐ፡ ውልቃዊ ጠቅምታትን፡ ጸቢብ ረብሓታትን ደሪኽዎም፡ ነዚ ህዝቢ፡ ብዝተፈላለየ ድሑርን፡ ጸቢብን ፖለቲካን ሃይማኖትን ክጎዛዝይዎ ምርኣይ ሉሙድ እንዳኾነ መጺኡ’ሎ። ሓፋሽ፡ እዞም ቀየስቲ ኣተሓሳስባ ዝኾኑ ላህመት ሕብረተሰብ ዝበልዎ ኣሚኑ፡ ናብ ህጉም ዕግርግር ከምርሕ ንዕዘብ ኣለና።
ናብቲ ቀንዲ ኣርእስተይ ክምለስ። ሎሚ ሎሚ፡ ስርዓት ህግደፍ፡ ስርዓት ከበሳዊያን፡ ስርዓት ክርስታንያውያን፡ ስርዓት ሰብ ሓማሴን፡ ስርዓት ብሄረ ትግርኛ ተባሂሉ ክስመ ምስማዕ እንዳተለምደ መጺኡ’ሎ። ብዙሓት ሰዓብቲ ምስልምና የሕዋት፡ ነዚ ዘሎ ስርዓት ከም ስርዓት ክርስትያን፡ ብርክት ዝበሉ ደቂ ካልኦት ብሄራት፡ ከም ስርዓት ብሄር ትግርኛ፡ ብርክት ዝበሉ ደቂ ካልእ ኣውራጃ (ብፍላይ ድማ ደቂ ኣከልጉዛይን ሰራየን)፡ ከም ስርዓት ኣውራጃ ሓማሴን፡ ገይሮም ክጠቅስዎ ምርኣይ፡ ዘየገርም ነገር እንዳኾነ ይመጽእ ኣሎ።
እዚ ስርዓት ኢዚ ወካሊ ደቂ ከበሳ ክርስትያን ብሄረ ትግርኛ ብሓፈሻ፡ ደቂ ሓማሴን ድማ ብፍላይ ድዩ? ብምንታይ መዓቀኒ’ዩ ኸ ከምዚ ዝባሃል? ብኣልማማ ከምዚ ገርካ ምልማጽን፡ ጋግ ፍልልያት ምርሓቡን ከ ንመን ኮን’ዩ ከርብሕ?
ስርዓት ደቂ ከበሳ?
እዚ ስርዓት እዚ፡ ስርዓት ደቂ ከበሳ ተባሂሉ ዝጥቀስ ዘሎስ፡ ደቂ ከበሳ ካብዚ ስርዓት’ዚ እንታይን ከመይን ዝበለ ሓለፋ ስለዝተገበረሎም’ዩ? እዚ ስርዓት እዚ፡ ንደቂ ከበሳ፡ ዝያዳ ኻልእ፡ እንታይ’ዩ ጌርሎም? እዝን ኻልኦት ሕቶታትን፡ ወላ’ኳ ብቀንዲ ነቶም ከምዚ ዓይነት ክስታት ዘተንፍሱ ወገናት ዝምልከት እንተኾነ፡ ገለገለ ብብዝሒ ኣብ ኣደባባይ ዝወሃብ ምስምሳት ግን ኽጥቀስ ይካኣል’ዩ።
ሓደ ካብኡ ጉዳይ መሬት’ዩ። መሬት ቆላ ተተምንዚኡ ንደቂ ከበሳ ይወሃብ ኣሎ ዝብል ክሲ’ሎ። እንተ እቲ ምምንዛእ መሬት፡ ህግደፍ፡ መሬት፡ ካብ ደቀባት መታሕት መንዚኡ ምውሳዱ ኩሉ ኤርትራዊ ዝፈልጦን፡ ኩሉ ዝሳማማዓሉን ይመስለኒ። እቲ ንደቂ ከበሳ ተዋሂቡ ዝብል ዘረባታት ግን ቁሩብ ምውካል የድልዮ። ካብ ኣየናይ ክፋል ኤርትራ መጺኡ ብዘየገድስ፡ ህግደፍ ንምጥያስን ንኻልእን ኢሉ ዝዓደሎ መሬት፡ ንደገፍቱን ንኣባላቱ ነበርን ጥራይ’ዩ። ገለ ቁሩብ ገንዘብ ካብ፡ ዓለምለኻውያን ትካላት ንምርካብ ኢሉ’ውን ገለገለ፡ ምስ ደቂ መታሕት፡ ኣብ መታሕት ከምዝጣየሱ ዝገበሮም ኣብ ሱዳን ተሰዲዶም ዝነበሩ ደቂ ከበሳ’ውን ክህልው ይኽእሉ። እዚ ገለ ካብቲ ብዙሕ ክጥቀስ ዝካኣልዩ። እዚ ግን ነቲ ስርዓትን፡ ነቶም ኣብቲ ስርዓት፡ በብእዋኑ ዝነበሩን ዘልዉን ወሰንቲ ኣካላት፡ ከበሳውያን ይኩኑ ደቂ መታሕት፡ ጥራሕ ዝምልከት ክሲ’ዩ። እዚ ስርዓት’ዚ ንደቂ ከበሳ ንከርብሕ ኮነ ኢሉ ዝወሰዶ ስጉምቲ የለን። ምስቲ ሕጽረት መሬትን ብዝሒ ህዝብን ተቀማጦ ከበሳ፡ ወላ እኳ ብዝሑን ስፍሓቱን ክንድቲ ናይ መታሕት ኣይኩን እምበር፡ ብዙሓት ዓድታት ከበሳ’ውን፡ ብምስምስ ዕደና፡ ምስራሕ ኣባይትን ሕርሻን፡ ኣደዳ እዚ ብሓይሊ ዝተገብረ፡ ዘይሓላፍነታዊ ዝምታ መሬት ኮይነን’የን። እዚ ዘርእየና ድማ፡ እቲ ስርኣት፡ ንኡኡ ዝመሰሎን፡ ዝጠቅሞን ዝገብር ደኣምበር፡ ረብሓ ገለ ክፋላት ሕብረተሰብ ኤርትራ ንምሕላው ዝገብሮ ከምዘይኮነ’ዩ።
ኣብ ርእሲ’ዚ ገለገለ የዋሃት፡ ዋላ ነቲ ኣብ ፈቀዶ ናኣሽቱ ከተማታት መታሕት፡ ኣብ ትህቲ ብክሻታት ዝተሰርሐ መጽለሊ ኮይነን፡ ሻህታትን መግብን እናሸቀጣ፡ ናብረኣን ንምምራሕ ዝጽዕራን፡ ዝጽዕሩን ከም ወራር ደቂ ከበሳ ዝርእይዎስ ኣይተሳእኑን። እዚ ግን ማንም ክኽልክሎ ዘይኽእል መሰል ዝኾነ ዜጋ ኮይኑ ይረኣየኒ። ከምቲ ወድ ቆላ ኣብ ከተማታት ከበሳ መጺኡ፡ ይዕበ ይንኣስ፡ ትካል መጥዓም፡ ቤት ሻሂን ንግዲን ክገበር ክፍቀድሉ ዝሕሰብ፡ እዚውን ከምኡ’ዩ። ነዚ ዘይምቅባል ግን፡ ንጉዳያት ብዝተፈላለየ መለክዒታት ከም ምርኣይ ጥራይ እዩ ዝውሰድ።

እዚ ነጥብ’ዚ፡ ዝኸፍቶ ሳንዱቅ ፓንዶራ’ውን ኣለዎ’ሞ፡ እንተዘይሓቆንናዮስ ዝሓሸ’ዩ። እቲ ምንታይሲ፡ ጀብሃ ዳርጋ መብዛሕቶም መራሕታ ደቂ መታሕት’ዮም ዝነበሩ’ሞ፡ በዚ መዐቀኒ’ዚ፡ ዘይሃገራዊትን፡ ናይ ደቂ መታሕት ውድብያ ኔራ፡ ንዝብል ከ ከም ቁኑዕ ዲና ክንቅበሎ? ወይ’ውን ዝበዝሑ ኣባላት ኮሚተ ኤሃኮደለ (ENCDC) ደቂ መታሕትን፡ ኣመንቲ ምስልምናን እዮም እሞ፡ ንረብሓ ዞም ዝተጠቅሱ’ዮም ክሰርሑ፡ ወይ’ውን ‘ኮምሽን እስላም’፡ ‘ኮምሽን መታሕት’፡ ኢልና ብኣልማም ክንልምጽ ቁኑዕ ድዩ ክኸውን?

I think the problem is when you tell people to ignore their love and dedication to their religion, culture, region, and country. These things you listed as a problem are not the problem, they are an indication of where the solution lies. To have a true functioning society you have to respect their identity. Why do we call somebody a regional? what is this that he/she did that offends Eritreans when sb advocated for development of the region that they grow at? why is it a taboo to talk about the village you grew at, associate with people that you grew up or marry with somebody that comes from your region? Those are legitimate Eritrean cultures, and everybody practices them! But PFDJ and their cronies made it politically incorrect to do so. their reason is pure and simple, control people by denying their right to associate and discuss their social issues. As far as I am concerned, it should be acceptable to care for you region/ religion in an open forum let alone in your private life. And we have to design our political system to accommodate the culture Eritreans. As long as people from one region/ religion are not collectively using violence to advance their interest or to work against other region/ religion’s interest it shouldnt be an issue for somebody who believes in democracy.
