Well well….. what a useless interview. Yemane – if you are giving interview – either you are in or you are out. I think you wimped out. You are afraid of what now?

Emmanuel/Assenna – good questions at the end of Part 11 interview with Yemane. Yemenae you know if you are telling the truth you are doomed and if you are making up story you are also doomed? Why not go all the way and answer the questions Emmanuel asked?

Good job Emmanuel…. slowly but surly time is closing…..

    Peace to all Eritreans.

      Mike,

Nobody will buy your wishful thinking!
I don’t think Yemane neither’ wimped out nor will be.
If Yemane preferred not to tell you story and reserved for a time being, what is wrong with that?
Yemane is a courageous and wise person. He will continue to tell the truth and educate you about your dark side of history.
What story do you want to hear and expecting? If you have any specific questions or concern, why don’t you ask?

    • helen October 3, 2014

Mike.. is a pfdj agent who is sniffing for any information that comes out Yemane’s mouth. Yemane has said the reason for not wanting to answer is he does not want to risk some people (may be CIA agents) by PFDJ. I dont see anything wrong for the answer.

  • Misgun Bokre October 2, 2014

Mr Yemane, if you have integrity or an empathic heart for the Eritrean people, speak the truth and “Ab menghedi babur dekis”.
Poor Eritrea – a country where all heroea are turned all zeroes. It can’t get any worse, can it? Indeed, as they say ‘mot tiEmiti’.

    • Misgun Bokre October 2, 2014

correction : please read as all “heroes” and not heroea.

  • Massawa October 3, 2014

In this interview Yemane mentioned that among the unit which was sent to burn Diredawa military airport, there was a guy who was present when Ibrahim Afa was killed. This piece of information was previously mentioned by Alena. He said the people or some of them, who killed Ibrahim Afa was sent to Somalia.
Can you please shed some light on this issue ?. They were being sent as a suicide squad, was this also an attempt to get rid of Abrahim Afa killers ?

Have people ever gone so high from the so low only to return back to the bottom and below in one life time?????????????
While all this mess is unfolding, Eritrea’s tegadelti were given boundless respect and admiration. Eritrean society wrongly took the back seat assuming the tegadelti are there to safeguard freedom only to find out freedom can’t survive unless it is guarded by all. And now to our astonishment we finding out how this half baked freedom has come about and can’t wait to get to the final part of the interview and story. As I am convinced Eritreanism is a BRAIN DISORDER, with symptoms of ‘Aquired Logic Deficiency Syndrome’ / (ALDS).

    • Semhar October 3, 2014

      Thank you Sefonias!

      • Semhar October 3, 2014

        Sefonias ,
The interview will help us not to repeat the same mistake and move forward in our straggle for freedom, equality, liberty and justice.

    • helen October 3, 2014

“As I am convinced Eritreanism is a BRAIN DISORDER” you cant judge people, by few evil individuals like Isias and helpers. If you say them (eritreans), you are including yourself (assuming you are eritrean). The question is do you have brain disorder?, i am eritrean i dont.

    Dear Yamane,
Your interview was terrific. I loved it. Yemane, you are blessed with the ability to connect with people heart to heart. You made us fill we were with you in the field. Yemane please do not stop what you are doing, for you are blessed with the ability to connect with people. Your interview is the best lesson that we can learn from our straggle for independence. You did not only tell us what happen but also how it happened, how it succeeded and how it failed. Thank you for telling us who is who in our straggle for independence. Your true story about our straggle for independence can save us from repeating the same mistake in the future. Thank you Yemane for showing us our weakness and our strength. It is an eye opening. It will definitely help us in our straggle for freedom, equality, liberty and justice. It will help us to make our country Eritrea the land of the free and the home of the brave.

What an interview, many thanks Ato Yemane for willing to expose the iner working of this Mafia regime. With understanding Our past we can not understand the present.
Eritreanism was a joke, especially the Kebesa Eritreans, failed to see the long term advantage of being part of Ethiopia. We are all ignornat of the historical relations we have with our brothers in the South, especially the Tigray. I honestlt believe we should even ask them forgivness, for all the manifestations of ignorance we have shown them.
I can understand if we have to hate regimes like the Derg, but what does that has to do With the proud People of Ethiopia a country which never got colonized, but we are proud because of our colonization. This is a disgrace. I personaly would have preffered the Derge than the sadist regime. Wake up Eritreans, we should admit our failures and ask our Brothers in the Sauth for help before it is too late.

I am from Kebessa pure Eritrean , I am from lowland pure Eritrean , I am from Denkalia pure Eritrean ,
I am from Semhar pure Eritrean . I am for the greater Eritrea , pure Eritrean .
Now we used to hear stories how some sold out Eritreans happened to betray their people for Ethiopia
      in exchange of materialistic gains . And so one patriot Eritrean artist said in his song ;
ADEYE ADI JEGANU ADEYEY ADI JEGANU
      BEAAL MEN IYOM ZIHADEMU
History repeat by it self to see some people gave up to surrender . And them not us who should ask
for forgiveness . We might forgive but we can’t forget IZI HAWNA .

    • Marta Afwerki October 3, 2014

you mean that sara? you want us to ask whom for forgiveness? this is shocking. i am sure you are from across the southern border yourself my sister.

    • Misgun Bokre October 5, 2014

      Dear Sara,
Indeed, very well said and God bless you sister. There are Eritreans with so much damaged self-esteem that they only feel better after watching Eritrean war documentaries. The voices of moderation need to reclaim back our land and bring relief to our people of Eritrea and Ethiopia. We need partners who would work for peace and development. We should really do what is right for the people and not what is right for our ego.

  • ahmed saleh October 3, 2014

I appreciate hawna Yemane efforts to explain for our people about the leadership characteristics since the beginning
of Sahel era . But I observed some commentators intention to divert the attention required on the subject in discussion .
In fact sometimes I wonder if the comments belong to real Eritreans because of their various new pen-names .
To ignore them and to focus on our issues beside fellow brothers/sisters is preferred choice . By then they will bark
on a wrong tree . In this forum I learned about some people who let a problem become an excuse . Courageous people have
strong positive attitude in the control position and it is more important than facts , not to let defeated by the facts .

  • Semhar October 3, 2014

    Dear Sara,

Freedom is precious; we fought for freedom, liberty, equality and justice. Unfortunately we had a mafia, sadist leadership that took our dream and aspiration. But we will continue to struggle for freedom, liberty, justice and equality. We will liberate our land and our people from the mafia leadership, the sadist regime.
In the future we will have economic integration with Ethiopia just like the European Union. Where Eritreans and Ethiopians will respect each other’s boundaries and work for common good just like European Union. They can move and work freely with out restriction. We did it 1991 to 1998; unfortunately the so-called transitional government with the sadist mafia leadership put us to the senseless war that destroyed dissent Eritrean and Ethiopian people.

Thank you Yemane and Amanuel (Assena Foundation) for the excellent interview.

Your interview will help us in forming a government for the people by the people and to the people. It will help us form a nation with the highest standard of equality, freedom, justice and liberty.
It will help us in drafting and implementing our future constitution.
It will help us to implement our Highi Indaba. We will make sure just like the good old days that all Eritreans in their fathers’ village will have a free land for farming and for building their house.
It will help us in conducting free and fair election allover our original province and on our national election in Eritrea.
It will help us in ending all types of forced servitude.
It will help us to free all non-criminal political prisoners.
It will help us to bring all the perpetrators to justice.
It will help us to through the tyrant Isayas’s burned flag and implement our original liberation flag, the flag of our forefathers, and the flag of our martyrs.
We will liberate our land and our people.
We will let all our original provinces to govern them selves.
    Freedom will ring in Akeleguzay!
    Freedom will ring in Barka!
    Freedom will ring in Denkel!
    Freedom will ring in Hamassien!
    Freedom will ring in Sahil!
    Freedom will ring in Semhar!
    Freedom will ring in Senhit!
    Freedom will ring in Seraye!

Our original Eritrean Liberation Flag, our martyrs flag, the flag of our forefathers, the flag that represent all our provinces and our nationalities will be allover Eritrea and allover the world and at the United Nations!
