But people are saying “Gigna” for Yemane?????????????? some of his information are correct and he was the memeber and one of the secret party of EPLF and left the regime as he lives in west, I think German. He was hibernating 20 to 30 years and now he is speaking like the “Gedli” was totally wrong. He is trying to attack all the leaders of EPLF especially “Petros Solomon”. He is not explaining the good work of “Tegdalay” just the negative. The intellectuals, because they know and they read lot about other countries “Sewra”, will not influence by the interview of Yemane. The problem is in the poor uneducated Eritreans ( those who are supporting and opposing with emotion not with enough information and knowledge like most of the supporter and against HGDF at this time) he may get some benefit from these group Eritrean people. Generally speaking this interview will not help for the fighting against Dictator just degrading EPLF. In my opinion they were working day and night to mobilize the Eritrean people that’s why they won. what about now in the opposition party no leader who has vision just talk talk. Guys we need leader good leader who united Eritreans for the good of Eritrea.

Or Ex-foreign minister in hiding some place in Australia? where is his from the “belly of the beast” stories? Should he not now tell us his own part. Which part of the orang of the belly was he feeding from?
As many other political asylum seekers his plea paper was full of a “typical one”. what is his story? Could he come up and speak up what the beast was chawing down? After all he was from the “belly of the beast”.

Tegadali Yemane has a lot to share. He is the best resource if you want to exorcise the Evil EPLF/issayas/ PFDG out of every Eritrean. You (Amanuel) have been complaining so many times why Eritreans don’t come out and share the evil works of the PFDG regime. Now that your prayers have been heard, you might as well use it to the max. It will take you 20 to 30 years to find another one as eloquent as knowledgeable as honest as Tegadali Yemane. He is the best advocate Eritrea has ever had.

Amanuel, your questions are no doubt valid but they would be best served if you would save them to the end of Yemane’s narrative flow and not in between. At some point the interruptions in the last interview have looked more like inquisitional trials as if the guy were under interrogation. This wouldn’t be that bad if you would only pick the right time to forward your questions without interrupting his speech.
There are similar feedbacks from several listners on this same point and it’s time we got your attention.

Amaniel is actually doing very impressive, professional job. We Eritreans are however not used to professional stuff; that is why we are irritated when we get offers with such quality rarely. We could hardly appreciate professional and up to the standard presentation. He is relating episodes back and forth, reminding Yemane certain things, in fact Amaniel is helping the flow rather than hampering it. He is there to ask and double check so that the listeners will have a balanced understanding of the issues being raised. And that benefits Yemane as well. Please, let’s not take modest people for granted.

Asmerom, don’t take me wrong. Amanuel is certainly doing a great job and his informational contribution is undoubtedly second to none. My feedback was merely a genuine suggestion from a point of view of a listner and not at all a criticism on his journalistic professionality which I sincerely appreciate in the same way as you do. Yemane is available every week to answer any questions anytime willingly and I still don’t see any need or haste of interrupting or diverting the flow to a next question while he is answering a previous one in his own way. I think the enthusiasm of the listner is mainly focused on hearing more of Yemane. Besides, there’s nothing wrong in considering feedbacks from listners no matter how professional anyone could be.

Thanks for answering my question Yemane. Very much surprise about Semer’s being a member of the party. Semere speech on his farewell party in DC explains his character as a party member. The party given by DC community was to praise him for his service as an Ambassador during the difficult times (1998 war). His speech was intentionally planned to divide the community. At the time when the community needing to stay united he intentionally spoke about his family issue and the reason for his r separation from his wife. He made it his topic sentence and went on to say the reason to be a regional (Wegen) issue. He was a womanizer and alcoholic, every one DC know about it. He knows that it was not about Wegen but he wanted to spill this venom to disrupt the unity that existed at the time.
Could be instruction that he got from the Party who knows.
Yemane, you are exposing the criminals who abuse their power during the struggle. You are in your rights having second thought about your stand past and present. Let’s not forget that we are human and we think and re-think.
Communist philosophy believes they can change human behavior by eliminating the greedy within to create a society that wait from the governing class to tell it what to do a not. They want to put a Killing machine in place to eliminate people with tendency to be creative hard working to better their lives. They want to do this continuously from one generation to the next one.
They fell to realize that it is natural to want to survive, to ensure the survival of next generation. Greed innovation, creativity, individual excellence, competing all is part of the human treat that is encoded in our DNA.
That is why Eritreans young and old leaving their country because they realize time is passing them waiting for the government to provide them with their needs. One thing about DIA, he has been very open about his intention. He has expressed many times that the he does not believe the educated people (the one who could question him about the future of the country). It is the educated ones and the rest who fail to realize it.
