Ambassador Girma was everything he was a well-known soccer player, intellectual, fighter, politician and diplomate. As we all understand an ambassadorial position should never be given to anyone. Girma has never been only a simple diplomate; but a comprehensible representative of the state of Eritrea. Having been both representative and ambassador Girma was ultimate in his reports, interviews, and protecting his country prudently. I was in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia when Ambassador Girma interviewed/asked about Badme. His response was clear cut.I was proudly rejoiced.. When important things are happening, the great ambassador interpreted them prompt. His reporting and analysis were never been timely but almost instantaneous confidently. Ambassador Girma has a deep concept of interrelationship between events around that more likely to be listened and his judgments carry greater weight. Thus why make him accredited.
