Mr Naizghi Kiflu one of the high ranking officials of the PFDJ regime; a close friend and right hand man of Isaias Afewerki, the tyrannical leader in Eritrea, passed away in London, due to chronic illness, according to sources.

After Eritrea’s independence, Mr Naizghi served as a top official in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Adviser of the President for Local Government as well as Minister of Information, during the total closure of the independent newspapers in Eritrea and the arrest of the their editors and journalists, in 2001.

During the armed struggle for Eritrea’s independence he was one of the key figures of ‘HALEWA SEWRA, a department responsible for the secret prison services in Sahil, where many volunteer fighters were tortured and killed. Even after independence of Eritrea, many blame him for carrying on his involvement in crimes against political opponents of Isaias Afewerki.

Mr Naizghi Kiflu has been residing in London, after his ambassadorial appointment was declined by the British government, and later was investigated by the British police for suspicion of crimes against humanity.

Hamdy Ahmed Al-Azazy, the Egyptian activist, who exposed the criminal Arab mafia Rashaidas, Bedeuines and the greedy medical doctors has been recognized for his human right contributions.
Congratulations Hamdy! You are better than many cowards who are ashamed to speak up.

The 2011 Makwan Prize awarded to Hamdy Al-Azazy

Rome, Feb 6th, 2011 The 2011 Makwan Prize has been awarded to Hamdy Ahmed Al-Azazy, the president of the NGO New Generation Foundation for Human Rights in Arish (North Sinai, Egypt), who for years has been assisting refugees – mainly from sub-Saharan Africa – in prisons and hospitals, and defending their rights.

The award, promoted by EveryOne Group, is also motivated by the extraordinary humanitarian work that Hamdy is carrying out in the Sinai in an attempt to put a stop to the trafficking of sub-Saharan migrants and human organs.

It is very heartening to read your post giving Mr. Hamdy Ahmed Al-Azazy, due respect and recognition for the great humanitarian contribution he has and is doing. We saw parts of his anguish and relentless hard work in CNN in this regard. Believe it or not, this man is an Arab. You have been using your pen as a huge grinding stone hammering on Arabs as killers, rapists, and what have you and while reading your post I was always thinking does this Cambo realize that it is after all an Arab who is running up and down to save lives and give those who were murdered a dignified burial? Generalization is a sin! The race, colour, religion does not make humans criminals or saints but their actions. How did this elementary truth escape you when you were ‘screaming’ generalized curses and insults against the Arabs is a mystery to me. Thank you for this post and your recognition of this great selfless man.

The recognition of Mr. Hamdy Ahmed Al-Azazy came from Rome from (ayya Tilian) that is why the dogmatic and ignoramus people acknowledge his efforts and recognize his great humanitarian efforts. In Eritrea we have the generalized hatred of Arabs very common, as it was inherited from “andnet party” propaganda that “mother Ethiopia” was saying. If you do not support unconditional union with Ethiopia, then Eritrea will be sold to Arabs and Muslims. Then the notorious documents “nihnan elamanan” confirmed the hatred it. In Egypt there is corruption and the smuggling and trafficking is part of the decadence of the regime. The main problem is Eritrea… it starts from Eritrea, Rashaida, Sudan and then Egypt (Bedouins). It is a mafia chain…we have to solve the main causes of our problems instead of accusing other people and countries for our problems. Why are people escaping from Eritrea? Do we have to solve our problems or we have to accuse others for our problems? The norm should to have the right to work, legally, with official documents etc…instead of being illegal immigrants, easy prey to smugglers and traffickers.
What we have to do to solve our problems?
The answer is simple: instead of escaping…we have to fight and get rid of the criminal, illegal and despotic regime in Eritrea, to live a decent life as dignified Eritrean citizens.

The reason is Arabs has deep rooted racism for black person even if you are their own it is seen in Sudan, Iraq, Egypt ,Yemen, Saudi, and others even though you are native.Mind your business there are a lot of Yemens, and other Arabs who live in Addis for years and they live peacefully with the rest of Ethiopians. When it comes to hospitability I think Ethiopia has one of the best credentials such as South Sudans lived, studied for long, Somalis , Arabs,Armens , Greeks still Ethiopia become the best neighbor where Eritreans can live as their own and no hatred from the community. At least let us give due credit for the sake of truth.

Mr Naizghi Kiflu is dead and the Eritrean media is silent. No News about his death or his burial details. This is strange in any other nation but a normal phenomona only in ERITREA! We were told that mr N.Kiflu was close friend of PIA. I am sure PIA is releived that Mr Kiflu died with all his secrets. I wonder what would be the legacy of Mr kiflu and his kind? ” Mr Kiflu was Freedom fighter who fought to free his people …who endup dictators and killer of his own people”. What a sad legacy!
All senior PFDJ and PIA are aging and dying one by one since they are simply human beings. the sad reality is that…they CAN NOt change their course of action now…they will ALL die as ruthles dictators and ..all thier good fight for freedom in the mountains of sahel will never be remembered by new generation..they started well but finished in disgrace. the legacy of HIZBAWIGNBAR has been hijacked by few thugs like PIA and Mr NKiflu…now our young generation are ashemed of ” Eritrea”.

    thank ya asenna,
    semhar,
wish all the arabs were good like Mr. Hamdy. he is the only real man out of millions. where are the other arabs hiding,

  • abbe February 10, 2012

Why are you interested and always talking about “others’ i.e. Arabs…like mad dog DIA. If Arabs are good or not it is their business, we should talk about Eritrea, Eritreans…our problems and how to solve them. No one invited illegal migrants to go to Egypt…we have to solve the CAUSES of our problems instead of accusing Arabs and the world. We as a people have to bear our responsibility, get rid of the despotic regime and build our nation based on rule of law and constitution so our people can travel as civilized and dignified citizens with passports and not be refugees and illegal migrants or an easy prey to smugglers and human traffickers. Stop accusing others and let us solve our problems by fighting lawlessness and injustice in Eritrea.
Don’t Arabs were good or bad…instead Eritreans were good and fight injustice, bear your responsibility, be courageous and fight oppression to get your freedom.

Let us leave in the hands of God the fate of Naizghi’s soul. But to sanctify killers, and moreover of their own people, as “heroes” is a distortion of history. What about the blood of the innocent Eritreans? In order to hide their crimes they secretly murdered thousands of guiltless civilians. However more they tried to destroy evidence the more their atrocities became loud and clear. “Haqi br’isa inteqeberkayas b’igra twest’i”. Unless we hurry to end this madness the chain of violence will continue unabated. And for heaven’s sake, let us stop calling murderers heroes! Otherwise things will blow on our faces.
