ኣብተን ካልኦት ናይ ኣመንቲ ኣምላኽ ኣብያተ ጸሎታት ዝውቱር ይኹን ኣይኹን ርግጸኛ ኣይኮንኩን፣ኣብ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ኣብያተ ክርስትያናት ግን ኣብ ግዜ ቅዳሴ፣ኣብታ ሰንበት መጸ ኣማኒ ብሃረርታ ዝጽበያ ጸሎተ ቅዳሴ እቲ መሪሕ ካህን“ንመፍቀሪ እግዚኣብሔር መራሒ ሃገርና ጾሩን ጸላእቱን ቀልጢፍካኣህዳኣሉ” ዝብል ጸሎት የዘውትሩ።
ዝኸበርኩም ኩልኹም ኣምለኽቲ ኣምላኽ ነዚ ብማርክሲዝም ለኒንዝም ተሓዲሱ፣ብናይ ኮሙኒዝም ፍልስፍና ዝምራሕን ኣብ ነገር(ማተር) ብምእማን እግዚኣብሔር የሎን ዝብል ዘይኣማኒ መራሒ፣ካህናት ኦርቶዶክስ “መፍቀሪ እግዚኣብሔር” ኢሎም ክምስክሩ ካብ ክዉንነት ዝረሓቐ’ዶ ኣይኮነን? እቶም “ጾሩን ጸላእቱን ኣህዳኣሉ” ዝበሃሉ ዘለዉኸ እቶም ኣብ ኣርዑት ጭቆና ዝመረረን ዘስካሕክሕን ናብራ ኣብ ትሕቲ’ዚ ውልቀ-መላኺ እነሕልፍ ዘሎና ኤርትራዊያን’ዶ ኣይኮናን?
እዚ ነቶም ኣብ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ሃይማኖት ዝለዓለ ስልጣን ዘለዎም መንፈሳዊ ኣቦ ቅዱስ ፓትርያርክ እንጦንዮስ ብዘይ ሓደ ገበን ብዘይ ፍርዲ ኣብ ቤት ማእሰርቲ ከም ዝምህምኑ ዝገብር ኣረመኔ መራሒ “መፍቀሪ እግዚኣብሔር” ኢልካ ምምስካር ካብ ካህን ክወጽእ ዝግበኦ ጸሎት ዲዩ? ነዚ ምሁራት ደቂ ቤተ ክርስትያን ካህናት፣ንደቆምን ስድራ ቤቶምን ኣብ ግምት ከየእተወ ኣብ ቤት ማእሰርቲ ብስቅያት ከም ዝሓልፉ ዝገብር ናይ ሰብ ተፈጥሮ ዘይብሉ ጨካን ውልቀ መላኺ “መፍቀሪ እግዚኣብሔር”ኢልካ ኣብ ቅድሚ ታቦት ኣምላኽ ምምስካር በቲ ሕሊና ዘለዎ ምእመን ዘገምት’ዶ ኣይኮነን? ነዚ ብኣሽሓት ዝቑጸር ህዝብና ኣብ ኮንተይነራት ኣሲሩ ብሃሩርን ጽምኢ ማይን ህይወቶም ዘሕልፍ ዘሎ ጨካን መራሒ “መፍቀር እግዚኣብሔር”ኢልካ ምምስካር ነቲ ካህን ኩነኔ’ዶ ኣይኮኖን?
ነዞም ምእንቲ ሰላምን ሓርነትን መሰልን ፍትሕን ህዝቦም ዲሞክራስያዊ ሕቶታት ዝሓተቱ፣ ተዋጊኦምን ኣዋጊኦምን ነጻነት ሃገሮም ዘውሓሱ ጀጋኑ ኤርትራዊያን ኣብ ጎዳጉዲ ከም ዝሓቁ ዝገበረ ከም ሰብ መጠን ርህራሄ ዘይብሉ ኣራዊት መራሒ“መፍቀሪ እግዚኣብሔር” ኢሎም ካህናት ተዋህዶ ጸሎት ክገብሩ ሕሊናኦም ንምንታይ ዘይወቕሶም? ነዚ መንእሰያትና ኣርዑት ጭቆና መሪሩዎም ሃጽ ኢሎም ብምጥፋእ ኣብ ባሕሪ ሬሳኦም ቀለብ ዓሳታት ከም ዝኸውን፣ በቶም ኣዛብእ ጀነራላታቱ መንእሰያትና ናብ ራሻይዳ እናተሸጡ ኣብ ምድረ በዳ ሲናይ ኮላሊቶም ከም ዝሽየጥ ዝገብር ቦካሳ ኤርትራ “መፍቀሪ እግዚኣብሔር” እናተባህለ ብካህናት ተውህዶ ጸሎት ክግበረሉ ኣንቱም ሰባት ዓገብ’ዶ ኣይኮነን?
ዝኸበርኩም ካህናት ኣብያተ ክርስትያናት ኦርቶዶክስ፣ንስኻትኩም ተካእቲ ናይ በዓል ጴጥሮስ ሓዋርያ ካብ ተባሃልኩም፣ትብዓት ካብ ጴጥሮስን ዮሃንስን ተመሃሩ፣ሓደ ኣብነት ባዕልኻትኩም እትምህርዎ፣መኳንንትን፡ሽማግለታትን፡ጸሓፍቶምን ምስ ሊቀ ካህናት ሓናን ቀያፋን ተኣኪቦም፣ ንጴትሮስን ዮሃንስ ብስም ኢየሱስ ንሓደ’ኳ ከይነግሩ ወይ ከይምህሩ ምስ ኣዘዝዎም፣እቶም ተባዓት ሓዋርያት ጴጥሮስን ዮሓንስን ዝመለሽዎ “ካብ ንኣምላኽ ንዓኻትኩም ምስማዕ ኣብ ቅድሚ ኣምላኽ ቅኑዕ እንተድኣ ኮይኑስ እስከ ባዕላትኩም ፍረዱ።ንሕና ግና ነቲ ዝረኣናዮን ዝሰማዕናዮን ክንሓድግ ኣይኮነልናን ኢዩ።ብማለት ኢዮም ብትብዓት ብመንፈስ ቅዱስ ተመሊኦም ዝመለሹ።ስለዚ ንስኻትኩም’ውን ነቲ ኣብ ኤርትራ ዘሎ እትሰምዕዎን እትርእይዎን ህልዊ ኩነታት ክትነግሩ ሓዋርያዊ ግዴታኩም’ዩ።

ነቲ ኣብ ኤርትራ ዘሎ እትርእይዎን እትሰምዕውን ህልዊ ኩነታት ብሓቂ ክትምስክሩ ኣምላኽ ናይ ትብዓት መንፈስ ቅዱስ የውርደልኩም።

I think who ever wrote this article was desperate to point a finger at the Oriental Orthodox Church. I dare you to come and write a full blown of your article to be fair. Who and where? Which church and what? Respecting the rulers is key in Christianity. Standing up to unjust system and rulers is also critical!
Yes – all powers are bestowed by God. All power that is. For those of you who claim to be Christians and go to church or pretend to know a bit of your Christianity – read it again. All clearly states powers are bestowed by God. What people do with that power is another discussion point.
As to the person who is pointing a finger at the Orthodox church in this article – not that I am affiliated to this Church by any means – it is sad to see you swing from one extreme of social structure to the other just to put a blame game. They say in Amharic “for fear of the Donkey the person who is weak and hopeless goes at the …..”.
Lenin and Marx have nothing to do with Eritrean case. You keep spinning it in to several roads and this one is new and pedestrian to a point. Change in Eritrea seems slow and accept one day all things will change. Rather than throwing a church under a bus take up charge and do your part.
Every Church has a place in history. Thus all churches in Eritrea will also self examine their stand in time. God will do the judgment and as for you – see what you can do to bring about a change. Whoever wrote this article above is a disgruntle would be follower of Christ or else having a personal issue with some Orthodox members near where he/she lives.
Focus on the Change! Encourage “signs of resistance” no matter how late or early it seems to come! In this case – encourage the latest signs! See what you can do to bring a change! Peace for Eritrea.

Dear Mike.I wrote this article not desparately to point my finger at the Oriental Orthodox church defame them, if you read it and understand it carefully my message is clear, I directly qouted what is prayed by the priets during the Liturgy prayer and is read as ““ንመፍቀሪ እግዚኣብሔር መራሒ ሃገርና ጾሩን ጸላእቱን ቀልጢፍካ ኣህዳኣሉ” Does this point at all the Oriental churches? For your who question, answer is all priests in the Orthodox church. where in all the orthodox churches in Eritrea and Diaspora.For your what question read the article again.Your proverb in Amharic “Ahyawn fertew dawlawn” does not go with my article, I mentioned Marxism-Leninism to explain that the dictator is not a believer in God. I recommend you to ask any Orthodox church priest or attend church to make sure whether or not the main issue in my article is prayed in any Orthodox church at Liturgy prayer or not.

Mike, I do not think you go to the Eritrean Orthodox Church abroad or within the country. What the churches pray for the president is exactly what Merhawi said. Merhawi is not blaming the church, but those who pronounce this prayer, which in its part is untrue. Everyone should be able to witness what is true and not. Mike are you supporting that the president loves God? I hope not. if so what is wrong if Merhawi extends a constructive opinion which doing so, is part of the struggle. As for Semie Belay, the day is not too far for the heroic Aganes in Eritrea including Isaiyas, Hagos Kisha, Demhit are proving an effective leadership aiming at establishing a strong Tigray by killing Eritrea. Let us wait and see what will happen.

Don’t use the bible to criticize people who have a different opinion than you do. Otherwise you will be labeled a heretic. Make a stand. ከምቲ ቃል እግዚኣብሔር “ምኽንያት ዜብሉ መርገም ኸምታ እትነፍር ጭሩ፡ ከምታ እትበርር ለዃዂቶ ኣይበጽሕን እዩ።” ዝብሎ ኣብ (መጽሓፍ ምሳሌ መበል 26 ምዕራፍ ፍቅዲ 2 ከሞኡውን ከንቱ ውዳሴ ኮነ ባርኮት ስልዘይበጽህ ብዙሕ ተደይተሰከፍኩም ይሓይሽ።
As the word of God says, “Curse cannot hurt you unless you deserve them. They are like birds that fly by and never light.” (Proverbs 26; 2) as well baseless benediction or blessing also never functions. So their is nothing to worry about.
As the poor guy called Mike by corruptly interpreting the word of God, by quoting as if who insisting us to submit for the devil power , if in case you wouldn´t know the exact meaning of the word, specially you of priests since you have not reply for who is confusing you, but i have a reply to shut up this devil´s peace mouth.
According bible history it is not only Isayas neither with a will of people nor God with own ambitious who claim and made self king or president, their are many. For instance, just at the first book of Kings start reporting for instance “Adoniah, the son of David and Hagith as made self king without allow and confirmation of his father King David order. (Anyway because the story is long but if you like to prove and know the fact read self the whole story at the (1st Kings Whole chapter 1, 1-53) Of course in now days also those dictators all at final perishing in a way we know for instance Sadam Husien, Gadafi, Romania´s Chawchescu etc God´s will Isyas Afeworki will follow soon.
I do not believe all these self elect dictators hold power with a will of their people nor God. This is why their final fate ended with catastrophe. So from this fact we know the word, “all powers are bestowed by God” it applies only for democratically elect presidents or powers only, not for self elect dictators. Because only by people choice elect president considers as like also by God chosen .
Another better example, for instance the epidemic that was destroying Israel which at once was already killed 24, 000 innocent Israelis, was stoped (like the epidemic our 24, 000 innocent citizens in short time persecuted by so called Badme war by which Isyas was for the third time deliberately caused war) the bible tells us, the main sinner leaders, who were reasons for that killer epidemic, in obedience were for God by worshipping idols and make self god, in broad day light when executed by one courages person called Phinehas, the son of Eleazer as was the bible clearly teaches us. read and prove if you will, the the 4th book of Moses (numbers, chapter 25; 1-16) so if needed to stop the epidemic that killing Eritreans, a courageous person Wodi Ali in Forto as tried, Isayas and few of his right hands men in broad daylight should to be executed. That is uncorrupted the right bible teaching!
But if you poor guy Mike as usual to confuse people you mean this is Old testament teaching, we have pray for our evil leaders, but i assure you, Holy Apostle Paulos as said, “If you see your brother commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray to God, who will give him self This applies to those sins do not lead to death. But there is sin which leads to death, and I do not say that you should pray to God about. that.( 1st, John 5, 16) so don´t tell me Isyas´s sin do not lead to death, Understand you poor soul Mike?
