Some say they are all from one region, others say they are all from one religion and ethnic group. The truth is they are a bunch of criminals and where they come from or who they are, won’t make much difference. The divisive policies of Higdef have created a lot more complex problems that many will come to know about it only when the regime is finally gone.
Almost half of the population is out the country, and private property (land, homes etc.) is changing hands illegally from one individual to another. There are instances where almost the whole ministry staff is made of people from one or two regions, one religion and ethnic group etc. in today’s Eritrea this is normal. Do you think it’s easy to solve such a problem ?.
The issue of land is one of the most dangerous problems the country will face in future.
The regime has purposely put time bombs everywhere. There will be no civil wars, as some anti-Eritrea elements want us to go for, we will never kill each other, but it won’t be easy to ran the country from center as before, and the conflict may not stop immediately with the departure of the dictatorship.

Selamat Genet, I have always appreciated your valuable contributions to national dialogue on this forum, thank you.

On my point of view these all dormant PFDJ & IA co-oworkers can never represent any rigion or religion, as you know the EPLF leaders were moving forward by a cover identity and by being far from God/ doing devil activities and still now they’re doing the same mistaks , but their main motivation to do this all are because of their failures in Politics & luck of knowlage, ya, they’re all dormant & doing against Eritreanism deliberately. Let’s not have wrong understandings.

The tyrant has stuffed the army leadership with fake generals, almost exclusively christian highlanders from “his region” Hamasien. His purpose is thinly veiled: to hoodwink the average man from Hamasien into believing that he was the champion of their interests, as if they had one different from that of the rest of the population. This way he would instil an atmosphere of mistrust and incoherence between the different regions and ethno-religious groups and thereby build power base for himself and in his miscalculation, possibly also for his heir (s).

In his treatise on the state, Plato notes that a tyrant’s nature will leave him with “horrid pains and bangs” and that a typical tyrant “never tastes of true freedom and of true friendship”.

True to his being a typical tyrant, Isaias “engages in life style that is mentally and physically exacting on such a ruler”. He lives in constant fear and is suspicious even of the very people he ostensibly considers to be his allies and loyal underlings. That is why he always reshuffles positions with the belief that this way, he would be able to destroy the infrastructure of possible “plots” being concocted against him.

Our country is confronted with a ruthless tyrant never hesitating for a minute to turn his subjects into half-starved helpless slaves devoid of the most elementary rights as human beings. He’s insulting us in broad daylight and with the entire world to witness that we were a worthless people undeserving of democracy in this planet and mocking that we’ll have to resettle in another planet if we dreamt of it – even after 40-50 years.

The question before us is: are we going to sit idly and let the hangman strangulate our nation to complete death, or are we going to fight against him in unison by all means to regain our dignity and build a vibrant society on his ruins?

      Well said sister!
Your last question is the burning question, for any man and woman who claims to be Eritrean.

who cares even if he bring from his own family ,we need a change let the dictator go

the reason eseyas keeps moving high ranking military officials from one place to another is to show the people that he is still in charge, for as long as the officials are disoriented he can sleep for 30 minutes at night because he will not have those reoccurring nightmares about assassination attempts, he has nothing else to do.

Isaias has spent his time reshuffling Generals since 1991 when the country is collapsing from ill management. It is claimed that we have been in the ere of nation building for the last 23 years, and yet we have never seen civilian administration in Eritrea. The main reason is the incompetence of PFDJ to govern the country. The only solution is to get rid of the incompetent dictatorial government and replace with democratic government. As long as we cannot do this, Isaias will stuff his government with any one he wants. Be it from Hamasien or from his own family. But that is not a problem of Hamsien or his family members, it is our problem. Lets unite. Lets stop finger pointing to each other. Lets stop insulting those people on our side. Lets stop he is from here she is from there. Because this kind of ugly politics helps Isaias to stay in power as long as he dies from natural causes. So try to look inward rather than outward. Lets believe the main problem of our problem is us not them.

what a wise man. Well said!
The luntic dictator is counting on our divided and weak effor to get rid of him. He is not that stupid. He knows the 99.9% of Eritrean people hate him. With his latest interview, he is trying to stick his finger in our eyes, to see if we can respond. It is a dare. Dare we take him out. When he talked about not giving the Erittrean people any democracy, he is not talking about himself. But about his plan to transfer his dictatoral power to his son. He has to be the most stupid dictator in history. Most dictators are smart enough to know, they have to do something for the country they are holding hostage. No question, he is unhinged. What about his son, he is in his 40s, isn’t he? what is he doing? Is he waiting for Dady to transfer power to him?
The only way we can end the suffering our people is to be united unconditionally now.

    Hi Assenna

I think Tekle Manjus is B. General not M.General.

DIA’s old tactic is to corrupt and implicate as many people as possible
so that they the corrupted & the implicated ones make the calculation that they
are un-salvageable and their future is tied to his. He is still using the greedy,
ignorant, stupid fat Generals & Colonels to his advantage.

As long as the mad dog Isayas, his son the little dog and HIGDEF rule Eritrea this will continue.
The only solution is to get reed of the crazy dog Isayas, his son and his blind followers HIGDEF just like the Libyans did to Gadafi and his sons.
Eritreans should unite and get reed the tyrant Isayas, his son and his blind followers HIGDEF.

  • Semhar February 28, 2014

Thank you for your revealing article, it tells the truth.
These are not generals; these are Isayas’s dogs.
I like the picture the way you presented his blind followers it fits them well. This picture is like a 1,000 words. These are #1 enemies of our people.
This reminds me of The Guyana Tragedy: Jim Jones Story November 1978 mass suicide of 913 people at the South American religious “colony” of Jonestown.
In 2013 Happening in Eritrea with the mad dog wedi Berad Isayas and his blind followers, the mad dogs “his so-called generals.

      Semhar
      You are right.
PFDJ and YPFDJs are cult members and unhinged man, Isayas is their god.
