The butcher seems he is struggling from his liver ailments. I wish him welness but most change in his attitude. He needs to start to respect a human life. Didnt he throw 60 thousand eritrean youth for his personal glory? Didnt he add another 20 thousand to exercise his power accross the horn? Didnt he killed/imprisoned tens of thousands of innocents ints gulags? How many had to perish due also due to the foolishness trusting this mans goals?? While we have been bragging about our advancement (by comparision to the horn people), one man just fooled us upto the point of nihna nisu, nisu nihna. It seems we had been im love woth our abuser a very strange behaviour from our part.

“ብሮትሀርስ ኣት ዋር” በሚል ከአንድ የኖርዌይ ተወላጅ ጋር በመሆን በፃፍነው መጽሐፍ፤ የኢትዮጵያና የኤርትራ ጦርትነት የወንድማማችነት ጦርነት ነው፤ ችግሩን ለመፍታት ሁለቱ አገሮች ወንድማማችነታቸውን ማመን አለባቸው ብለን ደምድመናል፡፡ ከዛ በኋላ ምንም ሠላም አልተገኘም፤ በኔ አስተያየት የሚገኝም አይመስለኝም፡፡ እስከአሁን በኢትዮጵያም ሆነ በኤርትራ ወንድማማችነቱን ማመን ላይ አልተደረሰም፡፡ የሁለቱ አገራት የወደፊት ግንኙነት ምን የሚሆን ይመስልዎታል፧ የኤርትራን ጉዳይ ማጥናት የተውኩት ተገድጄ አይደለም፡፡ በአንድ በኩል በኢትዮጵያ እየተካሄዱ ያሉ ነገሮች በጣም በጎ ናቸው፡፡ ኢትዮጵያ ብዙ ለውጥ እየተካሄደ ነው የሚል አቋም ስላለኝ ሲሆን በሌላ በኩል የኤርትራ ጉዳይ አልቆለታል ብዬ ስላመንኩ ነው፡፡ የጊዜ ጉዳይ ነው እንጂ ኤርትራ ራሷን በራሷ እያወደመች ነው፡፡ ኤርትራ ምንም ተስፋ የላትም ብዬ አምናለሁ፡፡
ወደ ጥያቄሽ ስመለስ… የኤርትራና የኢትዮጵያ ሁኔታ እንዴት ይቀጥላል ለሚለው በኔ አስተያየት ከዚህ በኋላ ጦርነት አይካሄድም። ኤርትራ ግን የሶማሊያን አይነት የምትሆንበት፣ በአንድ ልትመራ ወደማትችልበት ደረጃ ልትደርስ ትችላለች ብዬ አምናለሁ፡፡ ከኢሳያስ አፈወርቂ በኋላ ኤርትራ ሶማሊያን ትሆናለች በሚል የሚሰጡ አስተያየቶችን ይቀበላሉ ማለት ነው፧ አዎ፡፡ ኢሳያስ እስካለ እሱ የፈጠረው ስርዓት ይቀጥላል፡፡
የአለም አቀፉ ማህበረሰብ አቋም እና የኢትዮጵያ መንግስት የያዙት አቋምም ለዚህ አስተዋጽኦ ያደርጋሉ፡፡ ከኢሳያስ በኋላ ግን የኢኮኖሚ ችግር ብቻ ሳይሆን የብሔር ግጭቶች አሉ፡፡ ቆላማው የኤርትራ ክፍል የራሱ አጀንዳ አለው፤ ደገኞቹ ደግሞ እርስበርሳቸው በጣም የተከፋፈሉ ናቸው፡፡ ይህን መያዝ የሚችለው ኢሳያስ ብቻ ነው፡፡ ከሱ በኋላ አገሪቱን አንድ አድርጐ ወደፊት ሊያራምድ የሚቻል ይመጣል ብዬ አላምንም፡፡ የኤርትራ ጥያቄ ለምርጫ በቀረበበት ወቅት ከነበሩ አማራጮች ዋነኞቹ፤ መገንጠል፣ በፌዴሬሽን መቆየት እና አንድነት የሚሉ ነበሩ፡፡ በውድም ይሁን በግድ ሁሉም አማራጮች ተግባራዊ ሆነዋል፡፡ ኤርትራ ከተገነጠለች ፪፫ አመት ሊሆናት ነው፡፡ በአሁኑ ወቅት አንድነት የሚለው አቋም ቅሪት አለ ወይስ ሙሉ በሙሉ ተሸርሽሯል፧ የደጋው ኤርትራ ባህል በመሠረቱ ኢትዮጵያዊነቱን እንደያዘ ነው፡፡ ኢሳያስ ስልጣን እንደያዘ በሶስተኛ አመቱ ሆላንድ መጥቶ ባደረገው ውይይት፤ እኔም እድሉን አግኝቼ ሰምቼዋለሁ፡፡ እኛ ሠላሳ አመት ሙሉ ታግለን ብዙ ሰው ሞቶብን፣ ባለፉት ሁለት አመታት ውስጥ የኤርትራ ህዝብ የከፈልነውን መስዋዕትነት ረስቶ ከኢትዮጵያ ጋር ወዲያ ወዲህ ይላል ብሎ ተናገረ፡፡ ኤርትራ ነፃ ከወጣች ጊዜ ጀምሮ እስከ ጦርነቱ ድረስ የኤርትራ ህዝብ ከኢትዮጵያ ተለይተናል የሚል ብዙ ስሜት አልነበረውም፡፡ ደርግ መሸነፉ ላይ ነበር እንጂ ከኢትዮጵያ ጋር የመለየቱ ብዙ ግንዛቤ አልነበረውም፡፡ ጦርነቱ ሲጀመር ስሜቱ መቀዛቀዙን መናገር ይችላል፡፡
ሌላው በደጋው ኤርትራ ያለው ትግርኛ ተናጋሪ ከጣሊያን ጊዜ የጀመረ የገዢና የተገዢ ግንኙነት ነበረው፡፡ እኛን ጣልያን ነው የገዛን በሚል፣ ትግራይ ያሉትን ትግሪኛ ተናጋሪዎች “እናንተ ከአዲግራት፣ ከመቀሌ፣ ከአድዋ የምትመጡ…” የሚል ነገር ነበር፡፡ ከጦርነቱ በኋላ የትግራይ ህዝብ የራሱን ማንነት ኢኮኖሚ በማሻሻል ላይ ስለሚገኝ በነዚህ ሁለት ትግሪኛ ተናጋሪዎች መካከል ያለው ፉክክር ማን ትግሬን ይወክላል የሚል ነው፡፡ ይህ ለጊዜው ችግር ሊፈጥር ይችላል፤ ግን እኔ እስከምረዳው ድረስ ኢትዮጵያዊነት ስሜት፣ ባህል፣ አስተሳሰብ አለ የምንል ከሆነ በደጋማው ኤርትራ አሁንም አለ። ከዛ ደግሞ ከአፋር ጋር ያለውን ትሽር ማየት ይቻላል፡፡ በኤርትራ ያሉ ቢለኖች አገዎች እንደሆኑ አይጠራጠሩም፤ አሁን ባለው ሁኔታ ምንም ማድረግ አይችሉም፡፡ ኩናማዎችንም ካየሽ ተመሳሳይ ነው፡፡ ወቅታዊውን የአፍሪካ ቀንድ ሁኔታ እንዴት ይገልፁታል፧ በአፍሪካ ቀንድ የኢትዮጵያ ሚና ከፍተኛ ነው፡፡ ሶማሊያ እና ኢትዮጵያን ካየን፣ ለሁለቱም የሚጠቅማቸው የሶማሊያ አንድ መሆን ነው፡፡ አሁን ያለው ሁለት ሶማሊያ በኔ አስተያየት ረጅም የሚጓዝ አይደለም፡፡ ከጥቅም አንፃር ካየነውም፣ ለኢትዮጵያም ሆነ ለሶማሊያ አይጠቅምም፡፡ በኤርትራና በኢትዮጵያ በኩል ስናየው፣ ኤርትራ የምትፈልገው ድንበር ሊኖር አይችልም፡፡ ይህን ደግሞ ሁለቱም አገሮች ያውቁታል፡፡
የኤርትራ ሁኔታ ከኢሳያስ በኋላ አዲስ መልክ ይይዛል፡፡ በአዲሱ ሁኔታ የኢትዮጵያ ሚና ምን ሊሆን እንደሚችል በሚገባ ማጤን ያስፈልጋል፡፡ የኢትዮጵያ የውጪ ጉዳይ ፖሊሲ የኢትዮጵያን ጥቅም ለመጪው ሁለት መቶ ሶስት መቶ አመት ሊያራምድ የሚችል ሆኖ መቀረፅ ይገባዋል፡፡ የኢትዮጵያን የፌደራል አወቃቀር እንዴት ያዩታል፧ አወቃቀሩ በፌደራል መሆኑ ጥሩ ነው፡፡ በብሔር መሆኑ ግን መጥፎ ነው፡፡ የኢህአዴግ መንግስት ያደረገው ትልቁ ሽተት ነው፡፡ ፌደራል ስርአት በፊትም የነበረ ነው፡፡ የኢትዮጵያን የኋላ ታሪክ ካየሽ የፌደራል አወቃቀር አዲስ አይደለም፡፡ ንጉሠ ነገስት ስንል እኮ ንጉሶች አሉ፡፡ ከበላያቸው ንጉሠነገስት አለ ማለት ነው፡፡ አካባቢያዊ ፌደራሊዝም ነበር፡፡ የኤርትራ ህዝብ አሁን ያሉበትን የነፃነት ሁኔታ ከቀድሞው ጋር ሲያስተያዩት ምን ትርጉም ይሰጥዎታል፧ እኔ እኮ በመጀመሪያም ኤርትራውያኖች ከማን ነው የሚገነጠሉት የሚል አቋም ነው ያለኝ። ማነው ከማን የሚገነጠለው፧ የደቡብ ወይም የኦሮሞ ህዝቦች እንገነጠላለን ቢሉ ኖሮ ምክንያት ነበራቸው፡፡ የኤርትራ የነፃነት ጥያቄ በተነሳበት ወቅት ኤርትራውያኑና ከላይ የጠቀስኳቸው ህዝቦች በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ያገኙትን እድል (ጮምፓራቲቨ ኣድቫንታገ) ስናይ፣ ኤርትራውያኑ በጣም ተጠቃሚ ነበሩ፡፡ (በጣሊያን፣ በእንግሊዝ፣ በፌዴሬሽኑ ዘመን) በ፩፱፷ዎቹ የአዲስ አበባ ሀብታሞቹ እነሱ ነበሩ። በትምህርት መስክ ሃያ አምስት በመቶ የአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ኮሌጅ ተማሪዎች ኤርትራውያን ነበሩ። የሁለተኛ ደረጃ ተማሪዎችንም ካየሽ ፪፭ በመቶ የሚሆኑት ኤርትራውያን ነበሩ፡፡ ከተማረው ሰላሳ አምስት በመቶው ክፍል ኤርትራውያን ነበሩ፡፡
ይህን እድል ያገኙ ሰዎች ከኢትዮጵያ እንገነጠላለን ሲሉ ምክንያቱን ለማግኘት አስቸጋሪ ነው፡፡ ምንም ምክንያት አልነበራቸው፡፡ ለነፃነት የተደረገው እንቅስቃሴ ፴ አመት ቢፈጅም ስልሳ ሺህ ሰው ቢሞትም በቂ ምክንያት አልነበረውም። የኔ ጥናት የጣልያን ቅኝ አገዛዝ በኤርትራ የሚል ነው። እንዲገባኝ ሞክሬያለሁ፡፡ ኤርትራ ከኢትዮጵያ መገንጠል እንዳለበት የሚያሳይ ምንም ነጥብ አላገኘሁም፡፡ ነፃ ወጣን አሉ፡፡ ሁለት አመት ሳይቆዩ እኛ የታገልነው ለነፃነት ብቻ አይደለም፤ የኛ ዕድል ከኢትዮጵያ ጋር ነው ማለት ጀመሩ፡፡ ይህን የሚሉት ተገደው ነው፤ ምክንያቱም የኤርትራ ኢኮኖሚ ከኢትዮጵያ ተገንጥሎ በራሱ ሊቆም የሚችል አይደለም፡፡ ኢትዮጵያ ልዩ አገር ነች፤ ነፃነቷን ጠብቃ የቆየች አገር ናት፡፡ የኤርትራ ቴሌቪዥን በቅርቡ “ዓንቺአንት ዐሪትረኣንስ” (የጥንት ኤርትራውያን) የሚል ዶክመንተሪ አቅርቦ ነበር፡፡ አይተውታል፧ (ረጅም ሳቅ) አላየሁትም፡፡ ግን ምንም አዲስ ነገር አይፈጥርም፡፡ ወጣቶቹ ኢትዮጵያን አያውቋትም፤ ነገር ግን መንግስት የሚያደርገው አንድ ነገር ነው፣ ህዝቡ የሚያስበው ሌላ ነገር ነው፡፡

Dear Kabbir!
People like pr Tekeste has suffered more than 50 years. Some times they were attacked from one side, or two or even theree! Shaebia attack them! The oppositions attack them! And Ethiopians attack them. (i dont mean all oppositon and ethiopians at the same time, though). Everybody suffer at one time or another. But the pr. Tekestes Group of eritreans have suffered from the beginning to now. Already in 1991 they saw it all. They knew derg is awfull. And they dont want another derg (pfdj) rull Eritrea. But we failed them.
These People even after Eritrea succeded they want to keep the border open so that a NATURAL AND THE EXISTING economical Development takt its course for the better ment of both Peoples faily. They dont want the refurendum based on revange but take a time and out of neccessity, take into concideration of the People around the boarders unlike the crulity of the italian colonization etc etc.
I’m deeply touched that you post the Pr. Tekest’s post here. Other wise the respect i have for People like Pr. Tekle has no limit at all.

That is the problem you see perople like you taking advantege of the two countries if you wish you become Eritrean and Ethiopian, I wonder why you have to go all the way to Asmare to go to university while there are many in ADDIS, JIMMA where ever in Ethipoia. I agree wit you Eritreawit. If we are not doing great (because of this Ethiopiawi issayas), it doesn’t mean that we will flourish post this kurdid dictator. We are independent and will never go back to ethiopia – never ever.
If the good Dr.’s idea was to include other countries (say, all East Africa), it would have been the best (this is still while they are independent states). Or if it was the whole Africa – it would even better. But Eritrea to be with Ethiopia? No, sir. This is out of the question.

It doesn’t matter whether Issaias shows up in Port Sudan today with a convicted criminal Albashir. Under Issaias Eritrea is broken beyond repair. There is nothing Issaias can do to fix water and electricity in Asmara, let alone to run a Eritrea.
