The problem is who is going to protect the country from ?.we the diasporans are not doing it and we are not even sending our kids like the libyans ,kossovoians ,croatians and serbs. the government has no choice but to conscript from the people. weyanes are advancing stealing our potash and gold .if we refuse to defend our borders weyane will take assab too.I think parents need to understand it. jews do not refuse to protectect their land,..young and able bodied need to defend our ASSAB and resources.

Eritreans have reputation on patriotism and the love of their country unconditionaly. HGDF’s policy started to become as a threat to their survival. For the last 15 years they used to take every teenager away from their home irresistibly to keep them for indefinite time. Our society especialy the elders paid the price for their actions. People back home they are living in it and they are the only ones who sustain the misery under the regime. Now their passion have worn- out to lead on to confrontation. Now-a- days, more than any time else, Ethiopia is appreciating the benefit of peace and stability. This is clearly reflected on contry’s current economic performance (many neutral reports have proved this). As a result Ethiopia do not want to go to war by claiming parts of a your contry. The issue of Badme, ethiopia has already made clear that ‘it should be solved through negotiation’. it is true that ethiopian opposition parties including those who have an office in Eritrea (or supported by Esayas) like Ginbot-7 are claiming for ASAB, but the EPRDF (woyane) has never claimed for ASAB. using ASAB as a pretext is simply non-sense. Rather, eritreans shall try their internal problems. The current action taken by ethiopia is simply self-defence not an attack on eritrea (may be on esayas)
