ከምቲ ቅድሚ ሒደት መዓልታት ኣብ ዜና ኣሰና ዝጠጠቕሰ፣ ውልቀመላኺ ኢሳይያስ ኣፈወርቂ፣ ሜጀር ጀነራል ገረዝጊሄር ዓንደማርያም (ውጩ)፣ ብሕማም ተኻኢሉ ሎሚ ጽባሕ እናተባህለ ከሎ፣ ሒደት መዓልታት ቅድሚ ሞቱ ከም ሓለቓ ስታፍ ሓይልታት ምክልኻል ኤርትራ ምሻሙ ኸኣ፣ ንምዉት ኣእምሮ ናይቲ ቀልቡ ስሒቱ ዘሎ ኢሳይያስ ዘመልክት፣ ንህዝቢ ኤርትራን ሓይልታት ምክልኻሉን ዘስተናዕቕ ጽዩፍ ተግባር እዩ።

I thinks in Eritrea the words heroes and martyrs lost their meaning long ago. It is amusing to call a guy who is old enough to know right and wrong but deliberately served to the most repressive despot a hero. Some are implying to pre independence role of this poor soul was enough to be called national hero. Without going back to that era which was glossed with dark history it is easy to see the evil deeds of those generals by far out weight their contribution in liberating Eritrea. They are rapists, criminal murderers, corrupt and incompetent. They are criminals as charged and no sympathy for those crooks whether they are alive or dead.

in 2008 i heard that wuchu was a carrier of hiv virus.and since then he was up and down in terms of his health form,though i don’t know the exact couse of his death at the moment.
anyway a hero doasn’t necessarly mean one who gives orders regardless the outcome.a hero is hero becouse one always considers from the perspectives of the interest of the nation and the peaple.not a single momentum even death by itself can take this sacred bliev from a hero.this guys lost all what they did(if they did at all)
no matter what he did during the liberation,no matter what issayas made him to be,no matter what his acadamic status is we shouldnt forget he was responsibly leading wars,taking though decisions by his own in this regard if he blieved in what he was doing and ment it,would one sell his consciousness for the sake of …..

I feel very sorry for lossing a single Eritrea let alone wedi etai. Wuchu, as a freedom fighter had incredible contribution to realize Eritrean Independence. But this does not mean he had not drawbacks. As a human being, for sure, he must have committed a lot of mistakes. However, it is better to compare the good and bad action he had in his carrier rather than blaming him or admiring him blindly. I think this unhealth rhetoric will not help us to sort out our country problem. We need to evaluate individual acts based on a concrete facts instead of senseless rumours. I believe we lost many of our brother under his command whether it is directly or indirectly. But we have to understand also there is a military descipline that might had forced him to commit such unacceptable crime if he had done so. After all, there is a saying that states ” muwut I kisesn’eyu ” in our culture. Wedi Etai is gone, let the Almight God rest his soul in peace. For sure, everyone will agree with me Eritrea is leading to a grave with the current leadrship. At the same time, I challenge every person, who belive he is a geniune Eritrean national, to gauge his contribution to the national cause. No one can reap withiut sawing.

I think not only PFDJ but including those who claim to be opposition of PFDJ are not serving our history fairly- I am not interested about their intentions but their actions speaks for itself. One example is when our martyred history is one of EPLF it gets glorified otherwise it diminishes.
I will give you one example when one our hero and founding member of “Haraka” known as “Mahber ShewAte”, a writer (with about 10 books) who served from 1958 until he passed away passed in 16 September 2010 the news in Shabait web was 2 lines, http://www.shabait.com/news/local-news/3062-veteran-fighter-mohammed-seid-nawd-martyred, but when yes man, illiterate and who joined 13 years after him glorified disproportionately.
