You need to correct the phrase stating about Ali Said Abdella’s death in England; That
was not Ali Said Abdella, that was Naizghi Kiflu.

” For you, he might be from Bihere-Tigrigna. For me, there is no such a Biher. There is only Tigraway. So, Kebessa Eritreans and Tigraian Ethiopians are all Tigrawot. ”

    Gebez

    Aya Ghebrehawariat, iske hansab sum’uta:

Since time immemorial people in Tigray, call the land beyond Mereb: “Hamashien”.
In fact in old times, when Tigrayans were facing hard times, because of crop failures, used to say: “huru haghere Hamasien”. Which could be roughly translated as “go to the land of Hamashien”, to look for better opportunity. There is no single time in history when the lands beyond Mereb were without people, empty. There is no oral or written history that shows that, three regions of Highland Eritrea were called Tigray. The revisionists on your side (YG), nowadays, seem to be coming with some surprising explanation of why highlanders should call themselves “Tigrawot” and not “Tigrigna”.
If in Tigray people are called after their region, what sense it make to apply the same logic to Eritrea (which has a completely different history of how it’s regions came into being) ?. Would you also object if we call ourselves “Hamashien” ?.
In may parts of Ethiopia, people are not called after their region, but their language: The afar (you call them “teltal”), the Aromo, the Amara …etc the list could grow to include almost all Ethiopians. It stand to reason then, that Eritreans are not the only people who are called after their languages. For some historical reasons you call your selves “Tigrawot” (residents of Tigray), and for some other historical reasons, Eritreans who speak Tigrigna call themselves “Tigrigna”. Why do you see this as objectionable, unless you are suffering from the so-called “Centristic”, egocentric megalomania. This is not to deny that, the two peoples share some history, culture and language. But as everywhere in the world, a people is defined in function of it’s specific history and geography. “We are the center, you are nobody” is bad Ethiopian politics. It’s high time that you stop it, for the sake of our brotherly relationship.

Can we profile them(PFDJ’s leaders) now one by one? since they are starting to die on the hand of the dictator? People, Help now, who is this guy? What is his background? all things about him, the good, the bad and the ugly.

      Genet,
You are on the right track. Isaias Afewerqi is the enemy. He is Tgrawai, in his genes, blieves and actions. He should be identified who he really is and isolated. Do not lump him with other genuine ritreans. You are affording him a cover.

Most of the other members of the PFDJs are genuine Eritreans, whom we must lure to join the struggle, and the most senior, to flee, they are the repository of both of the history of the liberation struggle and post independence.

Woyane and Isaias Afewerqi have targetted PFDJs and our armed forces. Their agenda is: to break our backbones. We must defend PFDJs and our armed forces. If we follow the advice of the agents of Isaias Afewerqi and woyane, we will fall flat, from which it will be very hard for us to rise up again. As we say, Kab Kulul MaAl Ksad Mahaz.

      My fellow Eritreans:

Stand Up Four Square, join hands and foil the tigrai conspirators.

Wo-ya-ne is meeting the ghost of its great great grandfather, little king kasa, the collaborator of General Napier, who killed King Tedros.

If you notice closely, the coming to power of wo-ya-ne and kasa is virtually identical: they both came as collaborators, wo-ya-ne, of EPLF, and kasa, of the British. And their death is going to be virtually identical too: wo-ya-ne, by Egyptians, and kasa, by the Sudanese.

“Most of the other members of the PFDJs are genuine Eritreans, whom we must lure to join the struggle, and the most senior, to flee, they are the repository of both of the history of the liberation struggle and post independence.”

        Dawit Meconen

The regime of Iseyas is made mostly of Eritreans (genuine or not) who have joined hands with the tyrant for self interest. They know well, where their actions are leading the country, they are fully aware of the fact that Eritreas’ social fabric is been dismantled beyond repair, as it’s happening right in front of their eyes, and yet they are firm in their endeavor to use the opportunity, to make what they think is, a better future for them and their kids.
It’s true that many Higdef’s top leaders are of Tigrayan origin, but let’s be fair, these people hate also Tigry and it’s people (I don’t think they are serving Tigrayan interests). They hate to be reminded that they are of Tigrayan origin. I think they had also some difficulty to be an integral part of Eritrean society, because of land tenure problems in the Highlands, so, it seem they hate the society.

These criminals (PFDJ’s leaders, security agents, army officers, political leaders,..etc) have to face justice, if we want have a durable peace. They have damaged Eritrea’s image beyond repair. They have caused so much suffering that will take generations to heal. The prison population in Eritrea (tens of thousands) is dying slowing, crying for justice. There is a holocaust in the making as we speak. They have exposed Eritrea to severe external dangers, caused wars in which tens of thousands of our beloved kids lost their lives. Let’s be clear on this, the regime have to be removed completely, and no one who served the brutal regime should be allowed to go unpunished, no matter how long it takes.
        “Ni o’om wesido, yi taarekena”.

        • Genet June 13, 2013

          Thank You!
Indeed, “no one who served the brutal regime should be allowed to go unpunished, no matter how long it takes” Amen!!

          Kalighe,

Those who think the way you do with respect to PFDJs can be one of the categories:

          1. Woyane agents disguised as Eritreans

          2. Naive Eritreans who cannot,as we say, see beyond their nose, and who cannot differenciate between an enemy and an impostor.

The No.1 obligations of Genuine Eritreans are: protection of their Sovereignty and annihilation of the threats from woyane.

To accomplish these obligations, the following, among many others, can serve as their instruments:

          1. Isolate Isaias Afewerqi as woyane within; expose the contardictions of his promises and actions; the unnecessary war he launched in a secret coordination with woyane, with a malicious intent of plunging the country into a bottomless pit of misery, and degradation of our social fabric– our patriotism, proud history, identity, culture, langauge etc.

          2. Call upon every genuine Eritrean to join the struggle.

3.Call upon those Eritreans who have been conned by the two treacherous woyanes to desert

          4. Call opon the PFDJs to undertake subverstve activities against the Tigrai Conspirator, Isaias Afewerqi

          5. Reassure Our Armed Forces that we are behind them and that their responsibilities is to safeguard our Unity and Territorial integrity , and specially so at this very crucial hour.

          6. etc.

          • MightyEmbasoyra June 13, 2013

            Dawit,
The problem now is that those people with power have one or more of these issues:
            1) They are already have contaminated with innocent Eritrean blood
            2) They are pure idiots – adults with probably 2nd grade class level
            3) Corrupted in a big way

So, how are we going to depend on this to do the job?
            My two cents.

          • Kalighe June 13, 2013

So, you want the PFDJ without Iseyas ?. You want remove the driver and save the killing machine for some other day ?

With Iseyas or without him the PFDJ is a criminal organization and nobody in his right mind should think saving it is in the interest of the country.

            Dawis
It sometimes is difficult to see clearly what we as eritreans want and what we feel and what we think are our problems and what we are struggling for.
            1. who is Eritrean and who is not?
            2. who decides on who can be ‘genuine eritrean’?
            3. What does that genuine Eritrean exactly mean?
            4. Is our problem only one man or is it a system created and led by one man? i.e. are we after one man or a system that put us in this position?
We can not think along the lines that whoever hurts us is ‘CIA, Woyane,’etc. what aout the generals and their dogs who are selling and killing and raping our bothers and sisters. Yes, Issayas gave them the opportunity by they willingly took it to hurt us and our country. Many of them initiating evil actions against eritreans to get a pat on the back from Issayas because they know it makes him happy, as a sadist.

            MightyEmba..,
Among sick people, some could be terminal and some, not so terminal, and yet the attending Physicain might know that all of them were sick of the same disease. Now, the question for you is: Ought the Physician do his level best to treat the not so terminal, or let them all die?

The answer is clear that the Doctor ought to do his level best to treat the not so terminal.

But suppose the person whom I referred to above as “Physician” were in fact an enemy infiltrator, impersonating a doctor, wouldn’t you expect him to play a role of expediting their death in a very mysterious ways? The reason being that by so doing, he is preventing redeployment of those treatable ones, and therefore alter the balance of power in favor of his own side ?

            My fellow Eritreans,

When woyane infiltrators say that “all” PFDJs are enemies, laugh at their intellectual shallowness, logical ignorance, their childish sense of covetousness.

Isn’t absolutely true that every one of PFDJs cannot be made of the same identical social, intellectual etc. fabric; cannot have have the same degree of loyality to Isaias Afewerqi; cannot have the same view of anything, and therefore, only the unfathomably low enemy, like woyane, would utter such a garbage?

          • Genet June 16, 2013

            Hi Dawit

#2 “Call upon every genuine Eritrean to join the struggle” What struggle? which one? On your past post, you denounced the current oppositions as Woyane agents. Which struggle do you want genuine Eritrean to join? Is there is a secret struggle group that we don’t know?

#4 “Call upon the PFDJ’s to undertake subverstve
activities against the Tigrai conspirator Isaias Afewerqi” How? Can you tell us how to convince the PFDJ’s supporters to reject Isaias Afewerqi? Can you please explain the different b/n PFDJ’s system and Isaias Afewerqi? Do you agree if I say, PFDJ’s supporters are equally in support of Isaias Afewerqi’s action in our country?
            Thanks
            Genet

Love them, hate them, they are Eritreans. It hurts to see our people killing one another. The former generation has given us the flag. Our generation has to work hard to bring democracy and the constitution for the next generation.

Unfortunately, there are some Ethios on our blogs who think, because Eritreans hate dictatorship, they could be conditioned to hate also to hate their struggle for independence (Ghedli) and their own national identity. How stupid they are …

      • ahmed saleh June 14, 2013

Regardless their sinister agenda , we should stay vigilant to defend our Eritrean integrity . Our aim
to defend our people’s right against HGDF’s system might give opportunity for some ill wishers to
        manipulate our weak points.
For the record , we all know that majority of Eritreans in Eritrean government are genuine and good
people . Therefore to condemn everybody with guilty conviction is to condemn the whole society because
either way we are part of them . I keep saying to generalize is a big mistake . We need to focus on
identifying who is who among junior and senior government officials before pointing finger of blame to
anybody without proof . We have already more than 10,000 prisoners still innocent until proven guilty
according the court of law abandoned on their jails for years to suffer and die mercilessly .
