Eritrean youth condemn the dictatorship in Eritrea and call upon their peers inside and outside the country to join them in the fight for democracy, justice and rule of law. They speak from heart with a strong voice, and no number could suppress the power of their reason.

LOL,I ve GOT A RATHER INTERESTING NEWS THAN THESES LIES,
ERITREA TO SEND FOOD AID TO SOMALIA: PRESIDENT AFWERKI

During his exclusive interview with the VOA, the Eritrean President, who is in New York attending the 66th UN General Assembly, disclosed that Eritrea will soon send food aid to reach the hungry and most affected brotherly people of Somalia.

“We are willing to provide a ‘modest amount of food’ to international aid agencies to help feed hunger affected Somalis,” said President Afwerki.

The United Nations said nearly 13 million people are at risk of starvation in Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia after being affected by the worst drought in six decades.

Despite widespread but largely politically motivated concerns on the issue of ‘famine’ in Eritrea due to drought, President Afwerki utterly dismissed it as baseless to only ascertain that there exist no food shortages in the country today, nor did it existed yesterday or would exist tomorrow let alone famine or drought thanks to the putting in place of infrastructure facilities and expanded services nationwide.
Eritrea claimed it has recorded a bumper harvest of around 420,654 tons from last year with real chances of repeating another bumper harvest this year.
As part of its culture to extend a helping hand to brotherly nations in need and ask assistance at a time it needs, Eritrea in recent past has donated US$ 50,000 to Japan in response to the Great East Japan Earthquake while Eritreans living in Kenya has also donated a substantial amount of money to Kenyans suffering from drought by initiating a campaign called Eritreans-for-Kenya.
Long live ISAYAS AND ERITREAN PPL.
    AWET NHAFASH-MERCHANT N ISAYAS.

The only source for your claim is what issyas afworki said during his interview. Well, he said a number of delusional, things previously such as:denying the defection of the national team football players, the existence of the jailed journalist Joshua and much more evident things. quoting him only makes you nothing but an ignorant follower.

You put it right on the head. It is very shameful for a so called “‘head of a state”to lie.The guy does not have the slightest sense of decency and morality. If he had, Eritrea would not be a paraiah state now which he shamelessly denies. Here are some of his recent lies based on the interview with the VOA:

1.There is freedom of press in Eritrea, when in fact, he has been crowned as the worst press
predator in the world. Numero Uno!

2.He implied that he does abuse his authority. How about staying in power for 20 years leading a so
called “provisional government” without elections based on the constituition of Eritrea which was
ratified 14 years ago? If that is not abuse of authority and an unlawful act, I don’t
know what is!The people who advocated the implementation of the constiuition are rotting in jail
with him acting both as the accuser and the judge in the matter. That is a grand abuse of
uthority by some one whose only objective is to stay in power at any cost.

I do not know what is in the heads of his sheepish disciples to believe this nonsense about food aid to Somalia. It is simply a political gimmick and even if he diverts food from starving /malnourished Eritrean children, it is so small that it would not make any difference on the ground in Somalia. What a hypocrite!

May the wishes of our martyrs be fulfilled!

Any person who commits injustice to other human beings will be remembered as evil and criminal by the coming generations forever and ever, so will be cursed their chidren and their off springs.
Our forefathers used to curse the evil, the twisted mind maniac and the blood thirsty among them as “may you give birth to a monkey”. abHagotatnan enotatnan kragemu kelewu: “hbey wled” yblu nerom:
The children and the grand children of the evil and cruel will be insulted for generations and they will be ashamed of their fathers.
Who are the present fathers that will be shunned and shamed by their children?
Not the children of the prisoners and the dead because the children of Biteweded, Sherifo, Aster, Petros, fesehaye Joshouwa, DruE, Nati or Kekia … will always walk with their head up and with pride.
So will the family and supporters of Patriarch Anthonios, qesh Fithum, Dr. Kiflu G. Meskel … will walk with pride for generations.

you don’t live in real life. You are the follower of the hypograts and pretenders. Many people are out of food in habero, Asmat…Denkalia, Adobha….So why don’t assist them with food to its own people( who called himself the president of Eritrea) rather than to Somalia…I know him he likes to play public relations when he is in a mood. when he is in mood, he promises many things and tries to promote his diplomatic relations. When he isn’t in a mood he spoils and cuts all of its diplomatic relations he developed. He is never been consistent in its diplomatic relations. One thing Issaise to know is Eritrea is neither his private property nor his company. It is the land of all Eritreans. So, any one who know him tell him to stop pretending.

    Dear Abadi,

I listened to his interview with VoA, and i thought the guy was improved a little bit when i listed to his UN address, that time he just read what was written by somebody under the influence of his psychiatric medication (definitely take some Benzodiazipen, he was low and cool). Now i can see in his interview , the guy is totally lost and he is suffering from bipolar manic disorder. Even some times his answer to the journalist is completely irrelevant. The guy is really sick, and i think he needs to be locked in the psychiatric ward alas, the only psychiatrist, Dr. Fisum who can prescribe him medicines is in prison.

The journalist asked him about freedom of speech and about the journalist in Eritrea , PIA told him that there is the best democracy in Eritrea the people can express anything they want. This is totally delusional does he think the people are stupid like you, and then told him that to aks questions independently not from agents ( he mean CIA or others). When he was questioned how Eritrea survives from East Africa drought he said if the UN let him he can send enough food to Somalia(and i know what he means he wants to send more weapons through humanitarian aid) it is really laughable , people in Asmara are suffering from food shortage and they are paying more than 40 nakfa, for a killo of tomato, even which is really expensive by US market let alone by African standard.

Even i am really sorry for the people who travel thousand miles to see their manic president, he really needs help and i am sure those people also needs help, but for you Abdi, you are thugs of PFDJ, and had you realized or lived in Eritrea, you would not repeat what he said . it is really pathetic. If you have some relative in Asmara, just call them about the prices and the food, but i know you are writing from your comfort zone.

        hi abdi,

I am telling you the reality. Just call and ask somebody back home if you have relative, you will know the prices untouchable even for the wealthy Eritreans, let alone for the poor Eritreans whose income is less than 500 nakfa.

Let alone PIA, the good Ghadaffi has gone! and you and your president will be in the dust bin of history.

        Keep sending food to Somalia.

  • Gaul Mendefa(Rahel) September 27, 2011

I really wonder, how these blind supporters are barking, look just sense your mind, in our country for kilo of tomato is above 45 nakfa, if you really compare this to all our neighbour countires, it is 4 or 5 times larger , just it is a simple. just look everything especially these who live in Eritrea they feel the pain, but these who live in a good country, live in democrat countries, they are shouting with the barbarsim, dictator regime of isayas, i wish these all blind supporters to come to their sense, and know what is going on in Eritrea,
sooner or later the regime is on the way to fall… even the derg regime at the end of his failure he was using a media just showing dancing and supporting him… while was just a fake.
Eritrea will be free soon from the blood suckers!

The useless and ruthless Isaias is so confused he does not know what to do next. The young Eritreans who chased the Indian born Monkey, the Drop-out Hagos Kisha and their would like be a notorous terrorist Isaias are so scared. The time has come for the next move. The next move is to hit where it hurts the most.

The Sun Rises and the Revolution Continue.
