“Injustice somewhere is injustice everywhere” Dr. Martin Luther King once said. Its just sad that these people had vanished thin in the air as if they didn’t exist or didn’t contribute to the so called “independence”. It has been 14 years and counting God knows for how long. Unless some sort of miracle happened, chances of them getting out alive is very remote. The shifta groupings had developed a culture of making sure that nobody survives its dungeons to tell a tale. Accordingly, thousands have perished in its dungeons since its inception in Sahil. The irony though,these today’s victims were the primary architect of the culture that they are suffering in currently. They either played an active role or turned the other way when thousands of selfless tegadeltti died the same way without a day in court to defend themselves.
Regardless of what their role might be, they still deserved justice and they should be brought to court to defend themselves.
