Let me share some of favorite poems of distinguished black woman with Dejen and all friends of ASSENNA .
” When great souls die , after period of time slowly peace blooms . Our senses restored , whispered never
to be the same . They existed , we can be . Be and be better because for they exist ” .
” You may write down in history with your bitter twisted lies , you may treat me in with your every dirt ,
but still like dust I will rise “.
” Inspirational message of great figure in literature , civil right movement and a mother figure MAYA ANGELOU
who passed away yesterday . Rest in peace .

thanks Ahmed Saleh for sharing the words of truth and wisdom with us. and DEJEN ANDE HISHEL (Sebar-Karsheli) i salute you for your courage, cleverness, your wisdom and everything really! you are even a much greater HERO than i first thought. oh my God! this is a story of REBIRTH! A human being who had to endure many injustices for years finally breaks chains of injustice, overcomes all kinds of hardships while fighting and running for his LIFE and his FREEDOM and sits on top of Taba Fitihi and thinks about the second part of his journey to freedom. Never has such a story been told of a single individual who overcame this many odds in his quest for FREEDOM. Ade welida timken zihawey! agenaa!!!!!!!!!!thanks ASSENNA! i love you both so much!!!!!!

    Dear Dejen Ande Hishel,

On the 27 of February, an army of angels were sent from high above in heaven when you broke out through darkness into the vivid aura of light. In life, there are circumstances that are beyond human faculties for us to even comprehend where your daring escape from the dungeons of Isaias is sparked with a touch of a divine hand. The car you drove to escape from the prison had a purpose before it even was rolled out from the manufacturing plant to be sold to a customer; the prison guard who looked away as you passed him was made to act so; the birds which sprung out of the steep hill in your dire moment were meant to fly out so that you can step on the single spot where you needed to get to the next hill. You see Dejen, all along the way, the army of angels were looking out for you; watch over your shoulders and guide you to where you’re meant to be. You’re a figment but a vital ingredient in the grand scheme of work where before you know it, you are meant to be the last straw that broke the camel’s back. That is, your stellar story is not ending there where you narrate to the rest of us who are mere children of the lesser gods but in you, we find a giant to look up to. You’re a hope in an era replete with a learned hopelessness; you’re a testimony of a fertile womb when the background noise shouts “barren.”

This is a story of renaissance of Eritreanism. Dejen you have emboldened the long time dead spirit of Eritrean patriotism. I am going to be proud to be Eritrean now when I heard the story of Dejen. One ‘jelgafat’ bedewins with two kalashinkovs were driving 100th of young Eritreans in the desert of Sinnai or border of Sudan without any resistance. But now Dejen is born to show us that we are the patriotic people whom we defeat our strong enemy during the 30 yrs struggle. Believe me, Issayas’s regime is dead long time ago but our fear has restrained us not to put in his coffin and bury him. Dejen’s story has to be written in a book and kept us a story of resistance and inspiring our young generation. This is a best story of heroism not featured Hollywood film. My finger is twisted to hear the rest of his story. May the lord of the universe protect you for the rest of your life.

Not to offence no one but the difference in here is between GHEDLI and SAWA products . What went wrong with young generation
of WARSAY-YIKEALO recruits issues requires attention to analyze the consequences of forced indefinite military service and
the environment which caused psychological trauma . The worst and dangerous fear is the fear of unknown .

The stuff movies are made of. Dejen is a true hero who outperforms the action movies made in holy wood. He escaped from a jail worst than Alcatraz. He became a top flyer of Mig 29 without receiving complete flight training. He beat Nelson Mandela by 15 years because he didn’t negotiate his release instead he won his own freedom. He is well spoken, smart and brave. I can’t wait to see a movie made out of his history.

A mouth watering and impressive narration …. I was taken away to the movie prison break…scofield of our country.I remember a quote by the Hollywood actor M.Scofield , I guess it was in the second season when they broke out of the prison and when they were in a similar situation like Dejen in this Part-6 interview, He said “I am seeking for a Justice that I now Know the system can’t provide”. I never thought such kind of prison break could happen in reality.God works slowly but never late,we saw that your escape was shadowed by hands of God when you survived in the steep hill. Nay bahaki trieyo negerin tibelo enjeran aleka…probably eti trieyo neger ekua free and democratic Eritrea eyu kikewin zikiel. Dejen super hero and inspiration to this generation.Glad and proud that I have at least one thing in common with you,we both are Eritreans and on the side of the people.
I am still unable to believe the reality, 15 years behind bars and yet 15 years mentally a head of the regime and his parrots.I couldn’t even be more ashamed of myself when I compare it with a person who was out of the world for 15 years…
I am confident enough that this interview is gonna inspire and change the mind set of many Eritrean who are still barking with regime.
I can see qualities ,leadership and heroism from your interview. We will expect more from you DEJEN in the short future.nay bahaki DEJEN kitkona neza ab hadega mierab trikeb zela eritrana.

    Regaxie ember ziteregxe ayzingien eyu!!!
