    Good program.

The best way to deal with history and events is to write and speak about them. At least you owe that to those who have fall for Eritrea. They put their sweat, and gave their lives so that Eritrea will be free from outsider enemy.

Do not hold these painful “dark side” of the liberation events that the movement went through just because you have no time or you are fearful of what other might say. Again, those who have given up their life – did so for Eritrea and all of us to be alive and reflect back and tell the TRUTH. My brothers and sisters – come out and speak to it. The mistake is when not dealt with it. Dealing with it now before age and mother nature calls you all would serve Eritrea a life time lesson. Face it, it is a natural thing for all of us move on at one point in life. Now or never.

The soul of those brave Eritreans who gave their lives for you so that you & your friends make it through one, two, three and many more vicious battles with enemy – is seeking you out from above to speak out the truth. There is no Truth in silence. Living in silence is a crime. When the truth is spoken – then and only then you will sleep in peace. Hiding your History is like living in a lie. Even if you have to reveal your own misguided activities.

I liked this radio program Assenna! Well done and God bless Eritrea!!!!

    The HAMASSIEN syndrome

Those blind followers, the HIGDEF members and Sympathizers
who were dancing at their festival they are a perfect example of the HAMASSIEN syndrome.
HAMASSIEN syndrome, or capture–bonding, is a psychological phenomenon in which HIGDEF express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings toward their abuser, sometimes to the point of defending him, and sometimes the feeling of love for the captor shows. These feelings are generally considered irrational in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims, who essentially mistake a lack of abuse from their abuser Isayas wedi Berad for an act of kindness.
HAMASSIEN Syndrome can be seen as a form of traumatic bonding, which does not necessarily require a hostage scenario, but which describes “strong emotional ties that develop between two persons where one person occasionally harasses, beats, threatens, abuses, or intimidates the other.
