I was in Badme and surrounding 1986-1994. Some of my family and my wife’s family were from that area. So I have deep knowledge aboutt BADME and surrounding.. I worked for almost 8 years with the people of the whole Zoba Adiabo of Region one. My relation was the region and Zoba leaders. Thus alot of time I had arguments with the Region leaders, especially Gebru Asrat, Aregash Adane, Halequa Tsegay, his wife Kudusan, Nega and many other Senior and Junior cadres.of region about the problems facing the people of that region especial about the deportation of the Eritrean farmers of that areas. I finally submitted this case to Tewelde Gebresellassie to discus the unreasonable deportation of these people with members of the politburo of TPLF. several times even though these people did not get any solution until the time the war border erupted in 1998
However, as far as. I know, the people understand that the area was Eritrea and TPLF cadres know it well, I mean in brief I know EPLF did not change any single thing from what ELF left.the area.. So it is not proper to blame the government , Frankly, where did you get that? if any one say in 1984 or 1985 EPLF gave Badme and surrounding to TPLF, who gave or sign them? Did Woyane said EPLF signed us or gave us Badme? If yes, why do not The Woane present their documentary signature during or after the Algeries agreement? .If not why are bring it here now?

By refusing to accept the new call for peace plan of the new Ethiopian PM Abiy, Issaias is killing Eritrea further and young Eritreans are abandoning Eritrea in thousands a month. For the Weyanes, his refusal is a big fortune. As Eritrea dies a slow death, as a worthless nation, sooner or later Eritrea will drop in the hands of the Ethiopians without a single shot..
This is a good pretext for Ethiopia and the UN to screw the sanctions even harder. The Weyanes have Issaias to thank for. The Ethiopians strategy should be to call for peaceful resolution and sing the “Mezmur-Selam” in front of the whole world by organizing more “selam” calls, seminars and conferences to isolate and weaken Issaias more. Believe me, the new Ethiopia PM will soon hand every Eritrean refugee a full citizenship status in Ethiopia like any Ethiopian. At the end, they will get everything they had dreamed of from Eritrea.
My last trip to Eritrea indicated that not only Eritrea is dying from inside out but also the concept of Eritreaness.
