    “Constitution Drafting Process…”

Double failure, before malfunctioning of liver and now the so called President of PFDJ has developed a serious Dementia disease. (dementia has a set of symptoms that may include memory loss and difficulties with thinking)

He does not realize that the Eritrea people have endorsed but not implemented constitution.
He woke up yesterday and announced the following:

“I would thus like to announce on this occasion that a constitution drafting process will be launched in order to chart out the political road map for the future governmental structure.”

I said What? Constitution Drafting Process.. I laughed and said either he was in comma or he must developed dementia disease (lose of memory)

    Thx

      Theland on:
I was trying to be positive bro I can’t believe it he said constitution. I don’t know he had that terminology in his vocabulary.

His supporters are jumping the hoops. They dare not ask about the current constitution. Better yet why not Amend the things he doesn’t like…

At any rate, it’s a joke he is just buying time and diverting attention.

      • Mightyembasoyra May 25, 2014

Didn’t he say there will not be democracy and multiparty in Eritrea ever, just few months ago?
This is to just those fool pfdg supporters. Anaother shameful deceit on the work.

    • Wedi Erey May 25, 2014

It is really astonishing what this mad man of PFDJ can come up With!! This must be the joke of the Century in Eritrea. What does this psychopath Isayas think about the Eritrean people. As far as the Eritrean Constitution is concerned, the Eritrean people had drafted, dabated and at last ratified it in 1997!! As an Eritrean saying goes’you cannot steal a camel and try to hide it’–‘gemel serikas gumbih gumbih’. This is exactly what dictator Isayas is doing right now. It shows how disrespectful and contemptious he is of the Eritrean peole.
The Eritrean people have to stand up and ask as to what has happened to their Constitution from 1997. That Constitution was worked out by fairly democratic process and it was the culmination of the long Eritrean struggle for a just and democratic society.

      • Wedi Erey May 25, 2014

Dictator Isayas and his close aides are really a tragedy for the, otherwise, hardworking, proud and brave Eritrean people. One of my greatest wishes in life is to see the end of the era of shame, and humiliation under the rule of Isyas and the PFDJ. May the Eritrean people have the courage to stand up against, and free themselves out of this historical darknes in Eritrea!!

    • Berhe Domenico May 25, 2014

Dictators, confronted by: old age, coup attempts, defections of loyalists, and a rush to cement legacy before the good Lord knocks at the door, start showing a reasonable aspect that confuses the uninformed.
PIA has only to look at the work Sherifo and his National Assembly Committee had already done. No need to reinvent the wheel. Give it 2 years or less, the guy will be 6 feet under either because of liver cirrhosis or a bullet in his head. You can’t beat the time-immemorial process of how dictators finish their shabby earthly existence.

check out what happened to former Ethiopia prison guard who happily tortured and killed many Ethiopian and Eritrean during Mengistu era

    http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_25822015/ethiopian-already-sentenced-death-genocide-at-home-faces

We have to wait for the fall of Isayas to go after criminals of PFDJ. Those with blood on their hand like Ali Abdu should be denied a save heaven in the west. I would expect the families of the journalists and other to file law suite against Ali Abdu and then he would be forced to spill out all his secrets to avoid a long term jail sentence.

  • hmmm May 25, 2014

I meant we don’t have to wait for the fall of Isayas to sue Ali and other known criminals including those still in power in Eritrea.

  • hmmm May 25, 2014

Isayas is not stupid. He is smart and shrewd that is why he managed to manipulate his followers for half a century. Now he saw the Dejen’s escape from prison and the secrets he is revealing as a threat for his power structure. So the announcement of the constitution is a calculated Technic to change the talking point in Eritrea and diaspora. He want people to forget about Dejen and focus on his proposed constitution draft. He consider this another episode of a film where is the main character. So I advise not to give him attention by discussing his constitutions idea. Let us focus on discussing and listening to Dejen. We have to find a way to help him out of Africa before PFDJ gets to him. Dejen said he has much more secret to share and I can’t wait to hear it all.

  • Awet Nihafash May 25, 2014

    HMMMMM
YOU HAVE SAID IT ALL BROTHER/SIS…..FOOL ME ONCE SHAME ON YOU, FOOL ME TWICE SHAME ON ME…WE SHOULD FORGET ABOUT HIS CONSTITUTION IDEA AND FOCUS ON DEJEN AND OTHER THINGS WE CAN DO BY OURSELVES.. ANYONE WHO KNOWS THIS DICTATOR WELL ENOUGH SHOULD KNOW BETTER BY NOW HE IS PLAYING MIND GAMES WITH US.

  • Haile2 May 25, 2014

Sorry, brother Amanuel I thought the interview was about pilot, not about the prison. Ask him or help him think of anything as to why he was put in prison for 15 years. plus the guy was ab betmerti sewera, and he is talking about prison situation during dergi era.

    regards

    • Wedi Erey May 25, 2014

Hi Haile2, ambiguity like what you are refering to, among other things, have made me think twice as to the authenticity of the person speaking in these interviews. I’ve commented my suspicion somewhere in these forums. As an opposition website, it is really important for Assena to be objective and trustworthy. Otherwise we have to be careful that the opposition struggle would not end up like the PFDJ. ‘Wocho ente gemtelkayo wocho’ keykewin.

      • Eritreawit May 26, 2014

Wedi Erey–How low can you go accusing Assenna. this is not the bogus TV Dictator isayas just invent story and bring it to listeners. With you on the oppostion no wonder the struggle took this long.

        • Wedi Erey May 26, 2014

          Hi Eritrawit,
Why should it be a mistake to question? Isn’t it because we Eritreans accepted everything that Isayas and PFDJ told us that we are in the current tragic situation? If the Eritrean opposition is going to be successful, it should have a culture of tolerance of constructive Critical views. Like all Peace loving Eritreans, I would like to see not only Dejen but also all the thausands of Eritrean prisoners of conscience be freed immediately. But as I said before, the voice, style and pace of talking of the person interviewed is not familiar to me, as I knew Dejen before. But I may be wrong, because of the time that has passed since I saw him. For this reason it could have been better if Assena released a video of him.
Here is my question to Amanuel: With all respect Amanuel; how can you know for sure that you’re interviewing the real Dejen Andehishel if you’re conducting the interview on phone?

    • Eritreawit May 26, 2014

      Haile2

YOU wish if these all wasn’t true? don’t you? i do too for the vibrant Dejen Ande Heshel locked up for 15 years for nothing but became Eritrean bright and brave human being. You criminals what is wrong with you he said ” When they show us at BET TIMIHRTI SEWRA WHAT DERG WAS DOING” HE SAID THAT ON THE INTERVIEW IF YOU ARE DEFF THEN IT IS NOT ASSENNA’S PROBLEM. WHY DO YOU THINK PETROS’S WIFE DETAIND AND PUT IN JAIL STREAT FROM AIR PORT. SO YOU implying Dejen Ande Heshel did something, you are sick.

  • Taha May 25, 2014

    Selam Dejen,
Again, I salute you for your courage and in defying the rotten system of PFDJ. The more I hear you story, the more I admire your composure and confidence. Someone who has been in solitary confinement for 15 is still sane and able to speak with much calm and composure. You are a rarity of your kind brother. On the opposite end, your tormentors are losing their composure and confidence with what you have done. They are coming up with new political maneuvers and discourse of “drafting a new Constitution”. What a hallucinating ‘president’ and blind supporters! Ironically, some people among us are actually buying this nonsense! To those who believe this one-sense and I hate to be the one to break it to you: We will never have working constitution and rule of law as long as Issais and his cronies are in power period.

My utmost respect to you my dear brother. Dejen… Ember Dejen kem Shemka!!!

The Eritrean mad man, also known as, the Arab Abeed, has announced in public:

“I would thus like to announce on this occasion that a constitution drafting process will be launched in order to chart out the political road map for the future governmental structure.”

Using this pretext, the Arab Abeed will write a new so called “constitution” to do the following:

    1. To declare Eritrea an Arab nation
    2. To make Abeedism or Arab Slavery — the official ideology of Eritrea
