Sebhat Efrem life journey started with false picture of heroic reputation at the end it revealed his reputation of
cowardice , treason and conspiracy against his fellows .
History will not forgive officials in HGDF camp who are responsible to bring down people’s lives at present
predicament . His unreserved support to serve authoritarian government tarnished the honor received from
Eritrean people including those who fought alongside with him . We can judge a person bravery based from
his desire to defend the people that depend on his support contrary the bravery shown to fight against common enemy . We kicked out Ethiopian rank and file military officers to replace with our own same brutal officers ..
General Sebhat got the title as a gift for loyalty otherwise he is nothing but a scary puppet to survive . I think
some with Colonel rank have more power than he does inside government affairs . Do not forget these people
came to power through killing fields that took innocent life of 1970’s , 1980’s generations .and that is why it looks normal to approve or ignore officials criminal activity . .

I hate this man since 1975 when he said , while responding qoutions for Tealemti ln Bahribara if can be achieved unity between ELF &EPLF? he responded! No!!! Ms-Amma will not be unity. Well, that is the fact that lead us to fight it 30yrs. Instead, MELES ZÈNAWI was there for ….

    • AHMED SALEH!!! September 19, 2016

      PH
All the war propaganda , all lies , screaming and hatred comes invariably from people
who are not in fighting .; George Orwell .
That is true , we are the living witnesses to experience the consequences while fighters
in frontline were dying in war . The same goes to their wars after independence with
neighboring countries . Eritrean blood was nothing back then and still it is nothing since
their interest has been threatened .

Sibhat Ephrem is one of Iseyas’ most trusted men.
He had a visible and crucial role in failing the army revolt known as “the Forto incident”.
Someone known to be a mercurial character, a man with multiple faces.

  • Simon G. September 19, 2016

It is so amazing that these guys are full of themselves. Only thing they know is about destruction, whether it is their own or neighboring countries.
He is acting like his devil boss–>know it all. They are the experts on everything. Very sad.

    • Kalighe September 20, 2016

      Selamat Simon G,

Sibhat is good for nothing. A General who has never been to a military academy, a “strategist” who failed Eritrea. A devil who speaks with pride about Armageddon his boss is instigating in a neighboring country, forgetting, not knowing or not caring at all his country could be the first victim.
How on earth people call such a stupid person a General ?.
All those who served the devil get undeserved medals not for defeating the enemy in the field but for standing with the tyrant while he is killing innocent people

      • AHMED SALEH!!! September 20, 2016

The sad part of EPLF leadership misleading information to its fighters and people
in general was their secret party sophisticated propaganda tactics of zero seleste
        (03) branch to advocate and promote their favorite members into higher level .
Everybody who stood up to object their destructive practices paid heavy price
and their record of contribution had been erased . With toothless Generals and
other high rank officials the whole population surrendered to Fear that allowed these thugs move into control position of people’s life .
Issayas Afewerki was permitted to shape our country according his will and he
ended it as he started .
NOW DON”T YOU THINK WE ARE ALSO GUILTY TO CONVEY WITH SILENCE ?
We can’t fix mistakes unless we admit from learned lesson or keep hiding behind denial . It is shame we can not offer nothing except anger and frustration .

          Dear brother AHMED SALES !!!

All those fire breathing combatants who earned their strips are six feet under, now we are left with the whiskey chugging dirty dozen who commandeered the battle from a safe distance in a bunker while making out with a females of their choice. They made a pact then, the outcome belongs to them and they will take care of each other and screw the rest.

“He is acting like his devil boss–>know it all. They are the experts on everything. Very sad” . Simon G. September 19, 2016

The natural phenomenon of PRIDE can both be a blessing and a curse. Taking it to its healthy limit, it can have wonderful kinetic energy to propel the custodian to unimaginable height of goodness and noble achievements for the benefit of man kind. It is a wonderful and mysterious trait. But it comes with a condition that the poor human being should pay attention for the benefit of thy survival. In short, abusing the blessing can be devastating to the custodian and consequently to the entire surroundings. But here is a mystery: A human being was never created to be perfect! It is as if the human creature, for some mysterious reason, is always under TEST between GOOD and BAD. It seems also the choice is his/hers – mysteriously. Be that as it may, let me come down to earth!

At the risk of raising the blood pleasure of some gallant Eritrean compatriots, we Eritreans are endowed with the hallucination of being superiors than our surroundings; hence, alarming high ‘pride level’ being in our veins, we tend to look upon our neighbours as inferiors and …..[fill the blank, please, I have no heart writing it]… , not worthy of comparison!!! It comes to mind what our self-appointed President answered to a reporter’s question about “democracy”, With a straight face, he said, “they have their democracy; and we have our own democracy”!!! The comparison was against the United States of America! Let us admit: the bravado attitude, the superiority complex (1), the መን ከማና attitude are all in our blood!

And so, my Dear Readers, You and I, will always remain what we are and struggle through Life on a daily pretentious basis, with full PRIDE of our own interpretation and traits intact, without constructive planning for the benefit of future generations. It seems to be contradictory – but that has always been so and may continue to be so. We can’t help it. Permit me to leave you with a following quotation, quoted by an incisive Commentator (at asmarino.com) that I always enjoy reading. It is food for thought – no tantrum, please!
“Bill Dolworth: The revolution? When the shooting stops, and the dead are buried, and the politicians take over, it all adds up to one thing: a Lost Cause.” Quoted by Simon Kaleab in his response to an Article entitled: Eritrea: The story begins on the 18th of September 2001 by Elsa Chyrum, 18 September 2016

RECOGNITION: Despite my glooming assessment, I have high respect and recognition for those hard working Eritreans who are pouring their hearts out, sacrificing their time, to bring Eritrea to sanity and worthwhile results. Mere words are not enough to describe their effort. Never the less, sincere THANK YOU is in order.
—————————- (1) By the way, it can be argued that the superiority complex displayed by Eritreans is in reality a forced camouflage for the deep down inferiority complex that Eritreans insidiously suffer from having nothing to show off in one hundred-twenty-five years period of time!!!

    • k.tewolde September 20, 2016

rezen writes,’……….camouflage for the deep down inferiority complex…..’, yes indeed, not one but a spectrum of complexes only an Eritrean psychiatrist can discern because westerners would be lost in translation. It is like the story of the Eritrean man that was robbed at home and they took his hand gun in the process and left the empty holster in his waist.Neighbors came to find about his condition, after examining his ransacked home asked,’they took your gun too,at least they left the holster’,the victim retorts with pride,’my holster! over my dead body’ Go figure…….

      • rezen September 22, 2016

Dear k.tewolde, I heard that story but by different ‘players’:: HERDERS ! Smile!

Fantastic! Well said – insightful remarks.
Unequivocally, the acceptance of yesterday’s madness and the deep, honest, recognition of its consequence today is the ONLY way to SALVATION for the Eritrean people, by the Eritrean people—for THEIR OWN benefit >>> IF THEY so desire.

    • AHMED SALEH !!! September 22, 2016

The same arrogance witnessed at times of border war . Dancing , clapping anytime our
bado seleste machine spins to gamble at expense of innocent Eritreans lives , Do not
blame the blind followers rather the blame goes to our weak and to corrupted educated
nationals who prefer silence until the misery spread uncontrollably at everybody door steps .
We can’t undue the past but we can make difference if there is a will to uproot the bad seed
sowed in our sociopolitical state affairs .
