The U.S state department has blamed again that Eritrea is still supporting Somalia’s militant group Al Shabab. A report by the state department has blamed that Eritrean officials were in Somalia’s Lower Shabelle region to give training and other mechanical support to Al Shabab fighters in Somalia, battling against the Federal Government forces and the African Union troops (AMISOM).

The report did not name the individuals from Eritrea in Somalia. Also Somali Government sources could not confirm the existence of such Eritrean presence in its territory.

Eritrea has been always blamed for supporting the militant group of Al Shabab, a claim Asmara regime constantly denied.

UN report in July last year said that Eritrea has reduced its support for the al Qaeda-allied al Shabaab militant group in Somalia.

How come US drones miss them? It would have been a relief to to all of us. Shaabia wont stop this act..it is business. We did not notice shaabia used to plant bombs in schools in asmara back in dergi times. It seems this is the only skill shabia knows

      Grow up

Come on man, I don’t like HGDEF and DIA but please defend Eritrea. Sanctions only hurt our people.

      • Elssa December 11, 2013

Dear Teckle. Our people are already under DIA’s sanction. It doesn’t do any harm to our people. “ZETELKEYE ZENAB AYFEREHEN EYU”

      Dear Daniel Amiche,
I do not like any bit of PFDJ but I do not remember EPLF planting bombs in schools be it in Asmara or other Eritrean towns. Can you tell us which school and when? By the way are you ‘wedi Tor Serawit’?

      Thanks,

      Genet

What are you waiting US? Isn’t this enough to take this mad dog Isaias Afwerki to Guantanamo Bay? How is this Dictator different from the terrorists you are hunting?

For the sake of Eritrean people, for the sake of the neighboring country and for your advantage…do something in Eritrea that is N. Korea of Africa. The mad dog Isaias Afwerki with his collaborators that are US citizens or US residents: Yemane Gebreab (Monkey) and Hagos Gebrehiwot (Kisha) are destabilizing the horn of Africa by training and funding Al-Shebab (terrorist group in Somalia).

You asking to Americans to take military action against Eritrea and Eritrea to be like Somalia Lybia , Iraq and Afgan? i don’t Think so you are an Eritrean. If you Think and worry about your people, you have to do something to save your people just like did it Shabia to liberate Eritrea from ethiopia.Shabia never asked help to anyone and never get help from anyone! what I advise is go to the border in Eritrea and sacrifice yourself for the sake of your people. Ok?

here we go another accusation which is not surprising again. the Eritrean president is an agent to a united state of America and Israel.this is why whatever the the Eritrean president does it is not new to this countries .this is why Eritrean people in side or outside there voice would never heard.may be now wedi vacaro is pushing a button finally our voices may be would be heard,i would suggest more to wedi vacaro to gather those Eritrean fighters in exile to unit together to accomplish a change in Eritrea as soon as possible.

The last train of IT-time has already gone past Isayas and his regime who live in Soviet like technology. Poor guy don’t you know the possibilty of your mail, telephon and all your suspected communications are under scrutinized and checked regularly?
You a suspected terrorist in the area, a member of Al-shebab in mission, don’t you know what you do? A zombie by nature , even this is hard to grasp!! What a burden we have been given in 1991.
You will accomplish nothing but shame, and you will dy in shame, worse than those of Gadafi and Sadam Hussein lynched and hooked in a hole like a rat.
I wait this day along with all the tortured, prisoned and gased, poisoned and paralysed in thousands……. Amen

Listen all if we expect the change in Eritrea to come by outsider the country will be in trouble for long time afterwards. The change should come by us Eritreans, I am sure we can do it. As I have read in assena.com a while ago and I totally agree with that just need to liquidate about 100 people most loyal to him and that will be the end of him and free Eritrea, we are getting there guys. Don’t ever give hgdf supporters if needed to be physical with them let it be

Thinking about our arrogant president it reminded me what the late president Mandela said concerning his relationship with America . He stated that as a leader I can not afford for hostile relationship with the
western countries even if I didn’t agree with their policy because not political advertisement but rather
their financial assistance would do better for our people interest .
Our government missed the point that continuous behavior for contradictions and conflicts is destructive
and short lived which can lead to their demise . I wish Eritreans get rid of those thugs who run the country
to reclaim back their good reputation .

    • MightyEmbasoyra December 11, 2013

      Ato Ahmed,
You stated as “Our government missed the point”. It is just because there is no govt in Eritrea. It is a one man show and the rest …I don’t have to explain.

As Eritrean liberation was achieved from inside by its people, even now wether we believe or not the change we dream is from inside. The omnipresent realties of outsiders are nothing but always remained with legacies of futile and malevolent crises in the areas they landed. It will be the biggest mistake and regrate if we allow them to solve our problems.

  • Lone Selam December 11, 2013

Yes Yes we Eritreans who were involved in the military and now who abandoned the criminsl regime of eritrea are eye witnesses for the Eritrean govrernment to support Alshebab terrorists in finance , weapons . Manpower and training . Alsheban terrorist are given training in Eritrea .

we need to encourage the cia to assassinate the president using drone and change the course of the nation to wards peace and development. the president is, I suspect using our gold revenues for helping other movements which as no use to our nation. Look how he is taking care of the opposition groups from Ethiopia. we gave him too much time to cause the harm on Eritrea but hope fully this government will see a turning point soon after may 24,2014
